Deadlocked Poems

Premium MemberFirst Kiss

A big warm hug, a strong embrace
I brush the hair from off your face
Then look you deep into your eyes
So deep I find I'm lost inside

With both my hands, one on each cheek
I slowly bring your face towards me
I move towards yours, deadlocked in stare
Our eyes then close when halfway there

We know the way, our lips collide
Without a map, without a guide
And as we kiss the mortars fly
Chrysanthemums burst in the sky
Rivaling fourth of July
First kiss, a second is implied

Premium MemberMoon That Once Was

Rising with a sunny day she looks to blue sky
Reminiscing about sweet memories gone by
Knowing too well where the dark clouds hide
Clouds that thunder to dissipate her sunshine

Familiar deliberations partner on her walks
Haunting her path with discarded thoughts
Reigning without consent her desolate mind
A mind that torments flashing dreary signs

From a distance he views the way she lives
As indifference within he harbors willfully
For the pain she caused breaking his heart
His heart that now detests the world at large

Giving final try to move spirits deadlocked
He meets her tacitly at the edge of impasse
But the sun sets soon and the moon's no show
The moon that once was emblem of romance

Deadlocked
What tipped the scales
what has caused the rift,
the straw that added the extra
weight...Or was it a feather?

Have the lights gone out, has the grid
finally, broke?
Leaving us again depending
on God; And his scary Revelations.!

Clutching our blankets for heat.
We wait for man to repair that
which he has put in place to fail.

Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong
for sure.
We used to know that before
we stopped misplacing our convictions.

When neighbors knew, it was all or none;
When rent-parties and waistline parties,
were how we got through the worse days.

But now we just yell “save yourselves”;
Pack-up some pillows;
Grab your smartphones and outrun
the storm until your gas has finished;
Or until no--one accepts
your money for a bottle of clean water.

When shops are closed and the super wealthy has
Imposed upon you, their plan;
Plans which separates, God from man.
Leaving you to appeal to selfish men
with deadlocked hearts.

Premium MemberWhat Am I

I'm squirming in my chair of oak
with narrow arms, and folks lined up
in two long rows of growing thirst
and hunger for a breath of air

Like sardines in a can of worms
we are strange, unlikely shipmates torn
between one salesman's limped plea --
the other shark who disagrees

Gray flannel suit, the stiff white shirt
with slicked down hair, accusing words
persuading few with his hot air
The black suit spews his declaration
a quite contrary explanation

Until my mind is torn in two
and in a room we must decide
Confined inside, a dozen votes
where six say yay, six more say nope

We're hanging by a thread for days
and rumor spreads, with dreadful words

He has finally coped with deadlocked folks
But sternly looks a bit provoked
We sit there like a row of stones
of wounded souls. We are excused!

We grope for keys, and leave our thrones
And as I'm walking out the door
No longer needed any more
I see the face of one accused

Then count the blessings in my life
and take a breath of freedom's air
So glad to know some welcome arms
are waiting there, at home

Woe Is Me

Words have no more Meaning
I find myself Deadlocked
In an Ethiopian Night
I Could go recklessly on
But with what Hope?

Will I Glide on?
The Only thing I can find is woe
only woe, only me, woe is me

Voided since the start
I'm contradictory in Armenia
desert Mountains are more like rusty daggers
pierced in my stomach; what else is there but pain?
only pain, only me, pain is me

At the Crossroads

A radical calling
awaits somewhere
with some deadlocked situations;
a hindrance, a problem.
with pain and suffering,
a constant evolving phenomenon.
it's a challenge;
it's an enduring experience;
as life unfolds
showing connections, a perspective
that highlight faith in action.
What a deplorable society!
with tragedy elsewhere;
with violence and injustice
with poverty and suffering;
provide substantial proofs
that argue certain thoughts
over a Third World at the crossroads.

Sinking Rationality

Quicken my perception with your poetic prophecies
Preach with persuasion, until your theories are believed

Mixed me in the mortar of your mental monument,
Illuminate my psyche with your divine enlightenment

Chronicle your intelligences onto my solemn scrolls
Let me read you like a mystery and watch the plot unfold

Speak to me in riddles and watch me crack your codes
Light the fuse to my confusion and feel it explode

Brand my brain with the force of your profound conviction
Explain to me your logic, dissecting fact from fiction.

Take me to a higher level while my knowledge elevates
Deadlocked in your insight; no way to escape

Engrave your explanations into my wild imagination
Revive my unawareness with your clarifications

Submerge me in your subconscious until I fathom your meaning
Intuition knowing, growing, over flowing in your reasoning

Drown me in the seas of your possibilities
Fill me with your brilliance beyond my capacity

Manipulate my mind and reposition my thinking
Throw me a life preserve; my rationality‘s sinking

A Gift To Death's Guardian

exorcising the devil out of god
may require killing the antichrist
to blow the devil's mind

Possessed by a prophet
one who wouldn't give me a turn
at self love
and this upset god

with a deaf muse of irony
reality upset god fell out of love with the meaning of life
and in love with the wrong man
freaking out to lead the backwards logic
for certain characters to be at the right place at the right time

A poetic wizard who had written poems on the walls of his jail cell
proves everybodies innocence
with death on the scene
narrowing down the locations
that evil has left to hide

a world deadlocked with the proof
I can end the world at anytime

Mother nature a friend of mine for growing the right things that shifted my consciousness

through word of mouth of previous happenings
mankind becoming humbly aware
they too will be appeased
with the knowledge of this date with destiny
they conspire to do the right things

Criticly Acclaimed

in the midst of fearful delusions
the worst case scenario in my head
deadlocked behind my tears
loves stranglehold
a loss of free will to do what i thought
amongst the romans away from rome
something took over
something said no
the hand of god was cut
the devil healed my hands so i could pray
jesus came to him like a thief in the night
death walked the circles of the crime of a forgotten century
it was criticly acclaimed
went to lay down, needing a rest from the screaming in my head
you gave your life today said a whisper
blackness
be good i was told
awoke at ten
voices gone, overwhelmed by a new state of mind
confusion of realities
one that was before insensitve endless hooks in my head
the one there is now, the silence
inner tranquility
exasperated that it was gone
how beautiful life had already just become

Adventures In Babysitting (Rapture Unravelling)

was hired to babysit life
was hired to babysit life
gave hollywood their homework
an assignment im sure
keep us all in line
13 steps of this war
keep us all in line
deadlocked to get what we want

i was hired to babysit life
i was hired to babysit life
it was gonna be harder than i thought
judging my own innocence ididn't understand
13 steps keep us all in line and deadlocked
deadlocked
we will get what we want
a war we all win
born for this
wanna do it again
but we wont
onto something new

i was hired to make you feel ok for what happened
what happened to align ourselves to be where we at
to get what we want
how far we pushed to be the people we are
the ones striving for the successes of all involved
13 steps
13steps
keeping us deadlocked
outsmarting ourselves
to gather the plot
the plot we wrote
fooled by it again
mastering our own destiny
what else did you think we were gonna do

I came to babysit life
life was lost
found the great big hiding place
came to babysit the meatphor of life
hollywood has an assignment
13 steps to keep us deadlocked
3 licves to follow along
never know till you see it
everyone belongs it takes everyone

Girl In the Barbed Wire Dress

Striking twofold, lightning bolts
from the blue chasm of adversity;
when in dead aftermath
ghostly buzzing in her ears,
echoed screams without end into her head,
sparked the bitterest deluge of tears.

Weeping, head in hands, heart
scarring and skipping in seizures of pain;
playing Exit and telling herself
over and over it isn't my fault,
then questioning why the corpse of love
was kicked to death again.

Ages, dreaming she was mad,
the frail belief it was all fantasy, all in her head,
became the straw, the rationale to cling to;
breathe, keep breathing,
I can't do this alone; the knife driven
and stabbed the fantasy dead.

The first cut may be the deepest,
but the last hones a sharper dawn,
and the world seems a colder place;
trust, a mug of hemlock;
talons of sadness rip up her flesh,
claws of betrayal cruelly drawn.

No dignity now in silence,
no purchase in anguished screams,
only deadlocked continual scraping and scratching
at love and faith and dreams;
all that remains is to sift through the mess
and be the girl in the barbed wire dress.
