The boy and the tree

A boy found an acorn upon the ground
Under a tree which, uncaring left it around
Knowing its chances he lifted the nut
And found on its side a little T shaped cut
He brought it home to a field so large
Making the seed his own personal charge
And with this new precious creed
Under soil he planted the seed

Lost in a Daze

 On Kensington Avenue, many lose their souls
 Drugs have consumed them, and they've lost control
 They are walking like zombies in search of a high
 They need one more 'hit' just to get by

 They seem to have passed the point of no return
 All hope seems lost, and their bridges burned
 They stay

Trump's First Fifty Daze

     Trump is maintaining a frenetic pace
       leaving the world in a daze   
    
     I don’t agree with everything he’s done
       but I fully support the need to do

Snow Daze

White powder is softly falling out there,
And the temperature is getting low,
But I, in my soft fleece, am warm in here.

I hear the sound of those having a scare,
As they slide down their driveways even though,

Dies, where did time go?

A School Daze Turn

'Tis off to the races now that homeschooling has ended. 
One half earns for their subsistency, 
other half learns about delinquency.
Be they friends and their best efforts were suspended.

In my youth's frolic at King Lear and Pi
  all my daze was a Shakespearean tale.
Not algebra, not prose did edify
  yet test and limits we pass lest we fail.
To learn and open closed minds to ideas
  but I learnt before a fall comes a pride

Chapter 152-- same day--DAMIAN DELILAH MALLORY HOLANNYA: The reception and These Hawaiian Daze

Wondrous water ways Hawaiian Daze
And Daze and Daze. The Hakim 
Family wondered how long their
Stay would endure as their return 
Home was inevitable. Now as the
Ceremony ended. Everybody 
Remained in festive spirits. Saderi 
Lead the family out on the hotel
Garden where an assortment of 
Food were placed on two small 
Tables.

WHERE ARE THE ANTS ON WINTER DAZE-

winter asks where are 
 ants crawling are they working 
below ground are they

are they nestled and
 warm this February morn
17 days from spring
~
hidden away just
below the cold and snow winds
and adverse weather
~
O' Hallelujah
can't wait for spring when we can 
picnic together
