Some Like It Hot

With coriander cumin turmeric
basmati rice saffron and spice
onions chilli peppers
and all things nice
with chapati and chutney
a samosa or two
naan for starters
rogan josh vindaloo
not eye-watering
but tasty is best
tandoori tikka masala
korma's a meal with zest
chicken lamb chickpeas or lentils
a dinner for two you do not hurry
allow what you've got to simmer in the pot
if you want a winner curry

National, Not Tribal

As some Indians
(dot, not feather)
go to great lengths
to ingratiate themselves
by obsequious behaviour
(bob your head if you agree with me)
could it be the origin
of the expression,
'To curry favour'?

Tho' hunger knows no bounds
forget the fatted calf
despite the nation suffering
from starvation by more than half
they'll curry a horse
but not a cow
those bovine ungulates
are holier than thou

Our Love is Like Curry

Our love is like a bowl of curry
Sour and salty, then sweet and spicy
It lingers and savors slowly
Explodes a burst of umami
Perhaps the lemongrass and lime
Gives aroma of our passing time
What is life if you're not mine?
A lonely shrimp floating on a brine
It is often misunderstood
A healthy meal doesn't taste so good
But affection that is unwooed
Is unreal as cheap fast food
As I took a sip of tamarind juice
A peak of pleasure it produced
My heart melted and infused
Knowing your love I'll never lose
This is our love story
That sees beyond taste and beauty
True love shall never hurry
But waits until it's ready

curry

The less important

Every TV channel
carries
the same news, it is as posted from a news
central Trump is good, is Putin bad
and no one asks about its verity
by some nice people who look sincere.
I'm overcome by angst
it starts from the inside going out
my skin is grey and pale and sweat drips on
my T. shirt.
I should know but I can`t find the source of
its conception, but I try something about
eyes and in them, I read, surprised by the oncoming
I saw him fall
heard the crack of a broken neck
Walking away, nothing I could do but
stepping over an inert body and into boisterous life

White House smelling like curry 2

In this world of wanton worry,
There’s this new kind up on hurry.
Call it plain prejudice
That’d for wood the tree miss,
But should K Harris win
As chances seem no mean,
Should all the White House smell curry?

A Poem For Alderman Curry

alderman curry
collected closet doorknobs
lived reclusively with poco,
his faithful afghan

one clear evening,
he told poco to stay
and that he loved him

poco's senses caused him
to whine confusingly

alderman curry went into
the woods, took a rope hidden
in a hollow tree, said his last words,
'NOW I AM FREE TO BE'

at 5:15 the next morning,
alderman curry's hung,
lifeless, and limp body
was discovered by a worried poco

the faithful afghan did not
cry out an emergency yelp
for help, he just let his best friend
and master be.....his secret loyally safe

The Rocky Horror Picture Show ~ Starring Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter,
Content Warning: Schlock Horror

Elements of the unintentional humor of B horror
Ripped fishnet stockings, glitter, and a shapely contour
A kitschiness and campiness that seems to be winking at you
Shades of burlesque, cabaret broad and a bawdy review
Glam era, British popular culture “Glam Rock”
Working title, They Came from Denton High provoked talk
All the while filming took place during autumn
Seductive sequined gold swallow-tail coat slit on the bottom
A tribute to many a horror movie from the 30’s, a parody
And the science fiction genre threw the 70’s exuding hilarity
From concept to cult, the grin and the guile
A classy campy clown, red ruby lips, and a flashy smile
The midnight showing at the Vogue Théâtre, you’d find us there
A classic musical-comedy and bone-chilling delight we’d share

Curry Crisps

Curry Crisps
In 1981 and 82 at Littlemoor School I was in Junior 4
With the rest of the little wankers who were my classmates
I used to buy curry flavoured crisps for 10p at break time
I got them every day and even now miss them
They were the best crisps I ever tasted so yummy!
In a curry coloured packet oh what’s to come!
They were the highlight of my time in that school
Where I went from the bottom of the class to the top
England defeated Argentina in the Falkland’s War
I destroyed a school bully in the bogs by hammer punches
We called our teacher Miss Oliver Sergeant Sexy
The thing I remember most is curry flavoured crisps
I wish I could go back and get ten boxes of curry crisps!

Curry Shoes He Wore

Partly this is one of his dream that he is catching up with as if a shooting star he's captured like he captures my luminary sense as well as my blindsight
 beautifully done
his foot ran eagerly with courage,
 which i notice with heed
his hands willing and able to utilize,
yet i know of his patience
his strength admirable like showing a blind eye to catch a glimpse of light
 regardless
his courage along with his precious foot carry him to fulfill a dream beyond perception
priceless
his smile captures my soul
regardless of whether
his feet moved yet he threw that ball with more than a smile
and courage but with growth

what do you like the most?
perhaps you fancied a curry
but settled for beans on toast

Premium MemberCurry Makes Me Happy

Curry this
Curry that
Dare to add
A burst of flavor
Uniquely spicy
Savory and earthy
Exotically extravagant
Hot or mild bouquet
Ticklish of the taste buds
Enamored colors to entice
Reminiscent of faraway delights

Scurry Curry

(Based on the logical conundrum known as Curry’s Paradox, or sometimes Löb’s Paradox.)

A tricky logician named Curry
Proposed, just to make our minds scurry,
   That if this claim’s valid,
   Then I’m a tossed salad.
It seems simply proved, so I worry.

Trump To Curry Favors

Trump To Curry Favors

Trump likes to curry  many favors;
Never mattered what were flavors;
Owned almost all;
Short, talll or small;
Soem even were Lord and Saviors.
