The Demeanour

Everything was going to fade away,
When you collapsed on the last day.
Everything was going to fall apart,
Nothing could hold you on the surface!

Everything reminded me of you –
The way you presented yourself to me,
The way you showed the courtesies,
The most glorious story I have ever read is you!

Every tiny finger was worshipped by me,
Every curve was felt intensely,
Every scar was celebrated with sacred passion,
Everything would be nothing if it were not yours.

Any dull caricature reminds me of your sweetest face,
The intonation of your voice still haunts me to the grave,
Your cutest tiptoes still seek me till the 5 o'clock sun,
The entire you is the perfect smile of a godlike creature to me!

The way I have seen you,
The way you were worshipped,
The demeanour to which I have never felt bored,
The alcove of my heart always welcomes you!

“We are all petals of imperfection sharing the same sun” - Silent One

The sun can appear to be coldhearted
be truly said by those of equal share
the nature of them that had departed
is small known to them that they truly care.

Measured life are revisited, narrows,
the bars you've set accord abilities,
eagles soar above the heights of sparrows,
divides pleasure from third-world courtesies.

The befallen misreads dropping in-kind,
yond their diligence forward forgivings,
cause and effects, trust and obey in time,
all life gifts be true to themselves living.

We're created by one, who created the sun, ergo thrive,
to grow in one accord for every time there is a season,
we should rise to his glory and be thankful to be alive,
the acts of the sun to rise and to set its course of reason,

I'm happy to be holding onto His everlasting arms,
I am grateful that I am protected from all of life's harms.

Neverland

I was in a perfect gallery,
My journey could have been more weary.
I was on a trip full of unknown necessities,
I collected dirty obscurities.

I used to run the errands,
Massacre was another name for my commands.
I collected your nicknames,
They were too hasty for me to join such games.

I was in a neverland,
Worshipping you was never out of my hands.
I was on the unnamed surface,
Beneath that, you were merely a minimal face.

Your shadow was not justified by your choice,
Neverland was a home to me where you were my only voice.
Your courtesies were sometimes tiresome,
In your royal court, I was nothing but burdensome.

You do not walk on springs,
I long for you, not just because you are a living being!
You were the sole entity in that land,
Without you, it is nothing but a piece of sand!

Mid February dreams amongst the winds of change
I am waiting for the season to relinquish its hold
like the frost on the rooftops, the snow at my door
sooner or later will be no more...
I am watching the pine tree swaying in the cold sun
dipping its branches, courtesies of a winter's day
A piano plays softly in the background
as I sit here contented as a well fed cat
Mid February dreams amongst the winds of change

From my rocking chair, lavender fields remembered
sun born kisses with eyelet flashes of white linen
suntanned arms raised before a blue, blue ocean
airborne on a surfing board secured as an eagle
like a beach boy I flew, and who ever knew
She came to me like an August dream and
slipped her tiny hand in mine, we became one
like the summer stars in the sky when they bly
from my rocking chair lavender fields, I remember

Winter enclosures well aged in composure I sit to admire
the view, amazed at how everything secretly, expires.

Forget-me-not thy scent hast taste of time,
who tolls naught for thee, attend harken chime.
Courtesies yond the proverbial realm.
acquired vesper's affections, overwhelm.
Cupid cedes ecliptic earth's lauded star,
Purple Vanda Orchids in gild's wake are
hauling affianced light 'neath golden rays,
velvety mosaic succeeding phase.
Proxy promises bonny lavenders
induce flex a princess's verbs. Challengers
spealing gingerly the princely petals,
submit an amethyst crown ... all's settles.
A stately champ, amaranthine Vandas,
the garlands of Purple Heart's--lifespan 'twas.

Beyond boundaries, beyond humdrum of human race,
Beyond provinces mundane, among mysteries of space,
There is a realm of thriving wonderment, an idyllic place,
A place of peace and goodwill, hosting heavenly grace,

Where pavements glittering gold beautify every street
Surrounding ornate, walled, mega-mansions of elite,
Where people garbed in fabled attire gather and greet
Grooving to exotic melodies, extolling tempo upbeat,

Echoing sounds of mirth celebrating Shangri-La aglow
Reveling on prairies and streams, glinting angelic glow,
On pristine banks of paradise where rivers of elixir flow
Blossoming beauty of Eden, gardens utopian bestow.

There we meet, relishing dreams, musing in our fairy-tale,
Beyond drudgery, beyond worries, beyond mortal pain,
Lauding courtesies of nirvana fantasies mythical unveil
Elated in enchantment of exhilarating, paradisal domain,

Ecstatic of your fervid stance, inviting fervor of romance,
Caressing embrace of love holding me close to your heart
Proffering gestures esoteric in seductive tease of glance
Synchronizing beats-melodic, passions euphoric impart.

Frequenting Night Clubs

Frequent surfacing in night club
And the Lion sprouts from a cub
Soon, you cease to be submissive:
Life begins to be permissive.
With others you may shoulders rub
Sometimes, sincere courtesies snub.
A used-to-be-meek aggressive,
At inconstancy progressive....

In night clubs be sure of hubbub,
The filthiest thoughts served perfumed dub
Yet, life here should be extensive;
Clubs heal could The Hypertensive:
Others are asleep you are awake
And, for the fun of it, sometimes rake.

Need I Keep Watching Your Pretences

Need I keep watching your pretences:
You're good only at using tenses!
And I need not mind your courtesies:
Put you I have in parenthesis,
Catholic your inconsistencies,
On this could write a Master's Thesis.

Now, it's certain you're no monument,
Though fabulous your emolument,
Much cash left after picked ornament,
Never had cost much: sought liniment...

Need I keep observing your movements
That translate not into improvements?
To a passerby gross engagement
Or a reason for disparagement...

Confer I shall with the New Management.

superficial courtesies
hollow social chatter
mundane inanities
are so wearisome

let’s go extempore
rid of habit patterns
free from all bondage

The Mettle of Mom's Kettle

Dear mother's tea kettle.
She purges impurities daily.
She satisfies it with freshness.
Encounters gained exponentially.
She alights the stagnant to awaken.
Temperate measures brew righteously.
Truly divine profoundness spirits a flavor.
She bears its consequence with confidence.
Gifting patient nothingness anticipated quench.
Honeyed sugary sweetness greets a reigning crown.
A Word of grace courtesies a solemn room full of smiles.

"...it continues..."

Shocking Ingratitude

She had me restored to my mummy
After disappearing like a needle
And made me quit acting dummy
And worshipping a TV Idol.
Clearly My social mother
Also, on merit Biological
Quieting a hostile Brother
Increasingly rashly illogical …

A woman who could’ve given birth
To such as I
And my freighter ship berth,
Where it can be picked with the eye;
Now, I have grown too fast
For her assured comfort
And have long shadows cast:
A Fine Escaping Effort …

No longer a moth
That expires on palms inhuman
A steady rapid growth
Quicker than that of a human.
And now too I don’t courtesies keep
For a woman twice my age …

Over her in the streets leap
While she tries every wedge.

Nostalgia

Old
    fashioned
    courtesies,
    from days gone by.
On their first date, trying hard to impress.
Dressed up in glad rags, to travel in style,
    down lovers lane.
    Where one kiss,
    is pure
    bliss.

    Photo Number 1.

Premium MemberA Token Gesture

It was a token gesture
A hand he offered me
Emerging from my cab
Stormy night in the city

I didn’t know his name
But I’ll not forget his face
For he helped me gently
To a safer place

Blue eyes and thick black hair
He stepped in the rain-filled gutter
To close the taxi door
But not a word did he utter

Just a simple kindness
Like those of olden days
When gentlemen ensured
Ladies’ safety always

Now I’m a modern gal
And oh-so independent
But I stared in awe
At my hero so resplendent

As he turned to walk away
My impulse was to give a hug
But I just touched his jacket
And gave his sleeve a tug

“Thank you,” I whispered
Captivated by his smile
And how I wished within my heart
That he would stay awhile

He simply waved, then walked on
Disappearing into the rain
Since that night I’ve prayed
I’d meet this man again

But this kind token gesture
Recalled courtesies now rare
And I am pleased to say
Such tokens gents still share
