Attraction is a small and fragile thing.
We started with stolen glances,
in crowded halls, across a coffee shop.
I was glancing (I hoped he was glancing).
It was hard, we lived in a rushed way.
We were on schedules, we had routines.
I had doubts about having a boyfriend
but they fell away, like leaves fall off trees.
I’d been warned, "don’t saddle trouble."
But finally, feeling that we were
deserving of love’s rich value,
we came together,
as marble-hearted sinners,
with the serpent's contempt
for God’s stable order.
Moving throughh each sample she
employed a various range of sound.
Her voice moved through each octave
with her concern to how she
sounded.Rushing through each
phrase choring
to make them rhyme: one noted of
the recitive nature and how
the composition was laborious
and unkind.To the advancement of
the scheme I discovered
the plot. A story of a wishful lover:
who labored more
where others had not. An expression to
make story of then to be put to song.
A man wished to love a woman:
who would
chore to get alone. Those who saw
the drama and
but refue to provide the scripts.
Those who would
rather be audeince to the classic
script. Or those
would speak these characters in the
order might
they marry and be one. Or those
who who are
happiest to make two into one.
don't let our coupling bodies
be the uncoupling of souls
don't let what's tried and true
then attempt to fan the coals
perfunctory caresses
meant to bring desired gain
when not infused with love
will only serve up pain
don't kiss with bated fervor
just to tick it off the list
then whisper well known phrases
as you search for what you've missed
Don't love my naked body
and ignore my naked mind
for my body only yields
when our souls are intertwined
Don't let our merging bodies
make spectators of our souls
if passion will not bind
soul and body, we're not whole
So love my inner woman
seek to find her hidden need
when you've brought her soul to life
on love's pleasures you can feed
Our spirits and our bodies
both were made to intertwine
for you know that I am yours
just as surely you are mine

Grasses dancing wildly
in the wind
To music heard only
By Angels or fools
To melodies made
From sunshine and shade
And reflections in
Rainwater pools
Tranquility and peace
the two magical words
these come across blinking
my mind and heart are talking.
I cannot see it physically
but I can sense its presence
the crowd around me justified
when I look at the window.
I sat near it
Coupling clouds are seen
its whites are stunning
Like the ocean of white pearls.
Unchained by the lenses of my eyes
I look through the window again
I can see the wind
Not with my eyes.
But simply with my enthusiasm
I just love really.
I am currently up high
Above all else by
And from the conflicts of minds
I wish when I landed
my fly will not vanish
Perished with hatred.
Now I am looking at myself
Then I asked
Am I for peace?
I indeed said, yes!
I love you peace. Let's sail together. Layag Sug!

Box cars pull apart
Magnetic force against time
Slow de-coupling
Close proximity
Chemistry that makes you smile
A common world view
Coupling
Can I
Borrow
A cup
Of tomorrow
Fill
It to
The top
And don’t
Stop
As it
Over
Flows
Into
The future
And I hope
That love
Grows
Can
I forget
The past
Too many
Hurtful
Thoughts that
Last
In the
Present
Time
Help me
To forgive
What’s
On my mind
Can I
Borrow
A cup of
Tomorrow
Help me
To get
Through
The memories
Of Loving
You
Burnished copper adorned mornings and sunsets
amid fields of silken bounty;
Blond strands swaying seductively
with the whisper of each breath,
inviting hands to linger inside every movement;
To caress the softness of burgeoning fertility,
while cupping the strength of lengthening desire.
As night and day shared arousal of intention;
Each emerging from singular contentment
to once again seek skies of entanglement.
Where for just a few erotic moments
they wondrously explode together--
inside the coupling of twilight...
Almost Perfection, we two fit together
Bound in the incense of love and desire
Called by a song of eternal attraction
Dancing its way through our being;
Eager for everything, we dream it to life.
Fire and ice through the passage of days
Grief and delight shared together
Half light, half darkness
Interweave in life's flow,
Joining and kindling the mysteries of love.
Kind seeks out kind
Love conquers lust
Man and Woman become something
Numinous; a third sort of being,
Ontologically supreme.
Potentialities vie with realities,
Quixotic schemes founder
Resisted in the mire of daily
Situations that pull them to earth;
Tempestuous love strives to ascend.
Under the sun of our expectations
Verity sometimes gropes blindly in its glare.
We seek the perfection of what we are,
Xenophobic in our sharp self-focus,
Yet still in need of those others who love us.
Zealots are we all, drunk on the common draught of passion.
