The Coupling of Twilight

Burnished copper adorned mornings and sunsets
amid fields of silken bounty;

Blond strands swaying seductively
with the whisper of each breath, 
inviting hands to linger inside every movement;

To caress the softness of burgeoning fertility,
while cupping the strength of lengthening desire.

As night and day shared arousal of intention;

Each emerging from singular contentment
to once again seek skies of entanglement.

Where for just a few erotic moments
they wondrously explode together--
inside the coupling of twilight...

Beautiful imagery here, Bernadette. Reminds me of many sunsets that were very seductive in their interplay of colors which you've captured with much talent here. Its been quite a while since you've posted here at PoetrySoup and I hope you return soon with more great writing!!
