The Genesis of a Promised Seed
was and has always been a conflict.
Since primordial Eden and Eve,
between her grain against devil's trick.
His journey to the womb of Mary
is a testament of His sovereignty.
Bloodlines of imperfect humanity,
finely woven redemptive purity.
The night, a loving Father's hand
laid His Promised Seed to a manger.
Reaching the unlightened world,
yet rejected, spit upon and shattered.
The sundial in the Hands of the Almighty,
while He buries His Begotten selflessly.
The Omniscient One cast the Seed lovingly.
Yes He died, but soon He's risen victoriously.
Jesus, the Promised Seed of the Father
is now exalted, seated in heaven's Throne.
Though His heel was wounded with scar,
He trampled the devil's head, defeated and dethroned.

Don't believe in luck
Believe in God.
With God, things impossible
Become possible.
Listen to the voice of the Lord
Not the voice of the world.
To human, see first and believe
To God, believe first and you will see.

When the going gets tough,
When every moment seems rough,
Give me the strength to go on,
Let a new day begin with breaking dawn.
When odds against me are stacked high,
When my wings of confidence refuse to swap and fly,
Give me the courage to look beyond,
Let the horizon hold me upright in its bond.
When my efforts look like going in vain,
When my heart bleeds and cries with pain,
Wipe away the tears and make me strong,
The journey ahead won’t seem so long.
When my steps falter and my thoughts jumble,
When my emotions are ready to crush and crumble,
Hold me God in a tight warm embrace,
Show me the light, through your eternal grace.
You have been there with me through thick and thin,
Have turned my failures into amazing win,
Let all my worries be washed away in rain,
Coz' I know that with YOU beside me, if I can do it before, I CAN do it again.

In shadows cast by doubt and fear,
A battle rages, ever near.
Yet, in the depths of darkest night,
I find the strength to stand and fight.
With breast cancer's cruel hand at play,
I face the storm, come what may.
But in my heart, a fire burns bright,
For I am God's own child of light.
Created for greatness, I boldly declare,
No illness shall bind me in despair.
With every breath, I rise above,
Embracing hope, embracing love.
Though the road is rough, I will not retreat,
For victory lies within, my spirit replete.
With each step forward, I reclaim my might,
For greatness awaits, in the dawn's first light.
So, let the world bear witness, let it see,
The resilience that resides within me.
For though the struggle may be vast,
I am a warrior, and this too shall pass.
Breast cancer may knock, but I'll never fall,
For I am destined to rise, to stand tall.
With faith as my shield and courage my sword,
I march onward, in the name of the Lord.
For I am God's child, created to soar,
And greatness, indeed, I will restore.

I am about to make a request
You might sooner turn down than test,
For all its promise of conquest
Of the hard men, who us detest
And of our doomed end turned a quest:
To start laughing with them the Best,
Their stinking foams for our glad rest,
Our way worming into each breast,
In farms helping them to fight pest,
From grabbing hands property wrest
Each one of them: Most Honored Guest
To be accordingly addressed...
You mark by words like on-shirt crest:
Watchers shall us praise from East and West

Deceitfully lurking
in the guise of nostalgic surge
s e n t i m e n t a l i t y
arrogantly lingers
along perceived sensible reminiscences...
Persisting to dominate
over carnal mind*
s e n t i m e n t a l i t y
poisons thoughts
in defiance to reality
yet, such is denied with hypocrisy's pride …
Afflicting soul
with gloom ---
s e n t i m e n t a l i t y
leaves soul lamenting
midst loathsome guilt
feasted upon by despair and hopelessness….
By the Saviour's grace,
now triumphantly praising the Lord
spirit in fervent communion with God
prevails over and above s e n t i m e n t a l i t y
for functional memory-reverberation
beyond the mockery of the foes: self, world and the devil.
*Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Many great men in history have managed, the entire world to tame
BUT
All of them have failed miserably, victory over themselves to claim!

I lay me down to sleep tonight…
after fulfilling tasks’ delight
conquering frenzy sprite
in motherly roles of disarray-height
while discombobulation attacks I did smite~~~~
Praying first along freedom height
greeting morn as sun rays ignite
to bask under health radiance bright
jogging along well-being sprite
then gardening, thanking God’s might…
While enjoying home chores on sight
cooking, washing, cleaning stain blight
feeding gusto’s bite appetite
teaching kids toward wisdom flight
from ignorance and deceit light…
With day’s accomplishment all right~~~
now I lay me down to sleep* tight.
*Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

One legged evil brownie with a lopsided top hat
Was tired of crab legged crone thinking she was all that
Her feather and sword gave her instant jurisdiction
Her thought her followers fell under some addiction.
Her flag-waving ways were annoying to Buggy B Biff
She smelled like a cadaver for he had caught a whiff.
She was beyond ugly with twelve ruffled hideous boots
He put on his spurs, gun belts, and plaid bagpipe flutes.
She was stirring up the women. He saw his own wife!
Who was screeching and screaming, holding a silver knife.
He crept up slowly to Creelah, the crab-legged crone.
All he wanted her to do was to leave the women alone.
Bam! The trigger was pulled before he even realized.
He had shot the old skeleton dead, he quickly surmised.
The women stampeded the stage, and kicked him to death.
The last thought he had was, I should not have taken the meth.

the Conqueror Worm Corona Sonnet
Lo, t’s a galla night
within the lonesome later years
when around the world
the dreaded corona virus showed its might
spending fear to those in their later years
that it might take them in the night
that before the sun came up
their time on earth would end up
DEATH IS COMING
TO US ALL
NONE CAN ESCAPE?WE?AWAIT

* This is my 2600th poem. When I started posting here, back
in August 2012, I never thought to stay for that long and that
would climb onto the 16th position of the most prolific poet list of
PoetrySoup. I thank all those who have supported me and keep
supporting me and all those who have fought me and keep fighting
me for they both have forged my resolve to... keep climbing!
HAPPY EASTER to ALL! Take care! Blessings!
