Oh! Erato,
Divine Muse of the poetry of love,
I beseech you to inspire me today
For
I aspire for HIM to write
HIM: CUPID, the son of Venus
Goddess of beauty, and of Mercury, the cunning
Messenger of Gods.
Guide my pen, oh, tender Muse,
I implore you, since a worthy hymn for HIM I
Wish to write,
For this sweet winged-tyrant of mortals’ hearts,
This merciless despot of mankind.
The looks of his mother he has taken, and
The shrewdness of his father
Thus
Irresistible forever has remained and
Easily into our souls, uninvited infiltrates,
Paralyzing each of our resistance.
Then, unopposed, marches on:
Conquering every heart,
Subjugating every will,
Dominating every mind, and
Becoming the absolute master
Of our being.
No armies are able to resist his charms
No troops are willing against him to fight,
Instead, they are:
Readier to embrace the shadow of death than
To live under the Sun of the living.
Readier to be defeated by Cupid’s sweet arrows than
To emerge victorious.
Readier to exist in shameful infamy than
To claim fame eternal.
Easy for me is now to comprehend,
The poet of old times, who describes you, CUPID,
As being “Invincible in battle.”
Yes, indeed you are INVINCIBLE,
For no mortal- no matter how powerful he is-
Be he a king or just a simple soldier,
Is willing to take arms against you on the
Battlefield of love
But
He eagerly his soul trades for just
A probable morsel of happiness, a dim hope of
Love eternal,
And thus,
Without a single blow to give, he willingly,
SURRENDERS!

As knights dressed in the Prince's armor
we ready ourselves for battle against the forces of the prince of darkness.
We fortify the borders of our country -
ready to defend and attack!
Our hands are strengthened by double edged swords,
created by the Prince Himself.
Our armor is made with the finest and strongest metal,
shining brightly for all to see.
Our shields are powerful enough to deflect any blow.
United we stand against our enemy,
impenetrable against all blows.
We rise and march as one,
in the Name of our Prince of Light -
and His Father, our King, -
conquering the forces of darkness
and expanding our borderlines
until His Kingdom will reign over all the earth.
Form:
As I was about to enter the frontier of a forest
I was greeted by a Bunyan tree at the very entrance
It started talking to me in a language audible
That could be wisely deciphered as follows;
“I am a Bunyan tree, full of magic and grace
Nestling among smaller trees in our forest kingdom
From a tiny seed dropped by a bird, I grew
Into immeasurable size with a verdant crown
Now a vast territory is under my domain
I stretch and swing my arms all around
Support my body on a hundred legs
That no storm or gale can uproot me
My leafy arms are curved to the ground
Forming a maze of arches and tangy knots
With an enigmatic darkness hovering
Where birds roost and squirrels run about
When I bear fruits, the feathered folks come in flocks
Green parrots, bulbuls, mynas and crows
Squabbling with each other for my scarlet gems
Leaving me noisy with their mad crescendo
I proudly host these denizens of land and air
Never resisting their obtrusive invasion
I offer them shade and shelter, making them joyful
As they hop about and romance among my branches
I never set any boundaries as I find joy
In exploring and conquering
And into newer and newer realms, I move
With none hindering my encroachment
Sad, when we are grown, men hack us and cut us down
Now my only prayer is that no axe should fall on us
As we trees supply tons of oxygen for man and beast
And without us, life never can thrive or flourish”

After the great deluge,
After the tower of Babel,
God desired to physically
Keep mankind disconnected.
Thus, separation by continents
By way of oceans and seas.

Out of me,
the Contenents came,
And my waves against
their shores were my greeting
My depth is defying
My waves are trying
My winds are unforgiving
I am the oceans and the seas
The fog is blinding
Not a time for crying
Everything keeps moving
Unlike the river flowing
I am the oceans and the seas
Here, everything's rushing
The brave ones are fishing
For shrimp and tuna; craving
I am the oceans and the seas
I, the mistress of partitioning
I, the master of disconnecting
I also major in separating
I too, minor in dividing
I am the oceans and the seas
The massive pathway for conquering
The gigantic roadway for discovering
The first highway to faraway traveling
I am the oceans and the seas
I’m sure I’m quite right,
I cannot be wrong,
I was always so bright.
My memory’s strong.
I well racked my brain,
Considered all facts
And with consummate strain
Followed the tracks.
The Kurds were not there
Nowhere in sight,
This I declare
Knowing I’m right.
That day on the beaches,
With fighting so strong,
As history teaches,
No Kurds came along.
Now they seek succor,
Too late by a mile,
When so far in the gutter
They needn’t me dial.
They claim we should help them,
Protect them from foes,
It’s me they condemn
For their long list of woes.
Get with the program,
Move it along
Hurry and scram
From the conquering throng.
Don’t try and convince me
I’ve made the wrong choice,
I’m sure you’ll agree
You haven’t a voice.
Abiding in God-granted freedom of gracious zest
Blessed to enjoy independence while fulfilling roles with all the best
Committed am I to testify of writing privileges against expression-test
Driven by gratitude in triumphantly soaring toward creative functionality crest!
Ever-upheld by God-given nation’s sovereignty fought through heroic deed
Freed from conquering skepticism due to doubts, unbelief, dogma of false creed
Geared am I to continue championing freedom of expression with responsibility indeed
Hoisted for truth-prevalence... subduing deceit, hypocrisy and folly midst fake news’ breed!
Inspired with history’s lessons for freedom-fight
Justice and fairness I strive to expose along my faith's publication plight
Kindled with lovingkindness, mercy and peace in declaring the Lord’s goodness-might
Leading toward my personal liberation against destructive biases of human nature’ blight!

God enables us to minister in His house by His truth-lesson
Indeed, humbling us down through His wise reason
While inspiring our hearts with His very person
Along His Word, freeing our faith from doubt’s prison.
God enables us to minister in His house by His supreme reign
Indeed, purging us by His sanctification against error stain
While filling our satisfaction with His love that does not drain
Along His might, moving our faith toward service-terrain.
God enables us to minister in His house by His deliverance
Indeed, conquering us from unbelief with His assurance
While pushing our commitment toward sincere endurance
Along His power, propelling our faith for His kingdom’s furtherance.
God enables us to minister in His house by His encouragement
Indeed, teaching us through His life-building commandment
While illumining our vision with His enlightenment
Along His counsel, leading our faith for great achievement.
God enables us to minister in His house by His authority
Indeed, governing us against disguises of vanity

Be a Warrior.
Mirroring from the Abyss.
(A lone voice whispers)
My name doesn't matter,
My narrative you may try your hardest to shatter
You may smirk at my goals and dreams
You may try to erase them with cruelly whispered jibes
But I have an alibi
I'm a warrior just fiercely striding forth
Conquering fear and doubts daily
I wonder upon criticism's invisible shores and still overcome so much more
I am an immortal composed of sinews saturated with the ever glowing bright stars
Look at me
You green eyed beauties
Watch me rise above your worthless words and cries
Watch me soar as I pursue dreams and yours just linger confused and die
For I'm Artemis or Hercules rolled into one
I'm my moon and everlasting sun
The winds just silently whisper my name
The stars shine
Guiding my ways as I run
I'm just me
I always rise whatever the crowd says
And it's that sweet thought I'll continue
Until the end of my days
For I'm a Warrior
Just sent by my God
To help guide others
As I find my way

indeed, can smite selfishness and greediness…
Such heightens gratitude of kindness-essence
as it subdues apathetic self-sufficiency’s prevalence.

God satisfies our lives with His joyful cheer
Always inspiring us in His compassion that holds us dear
While we serve Him with our faith’s commitment-gear
In exalting Him, knowing that His coming is very near.
