Elegy for a Fallen Comrade

The Coca-Cola lamp 
made a circle of light
on the nightstand—
               (soft and amber)
barely touching the horses beneath it.
You lifted the needle up gently, 
and set it down lightly again:
“Bye, bye, Miss American Pie…”
We didn’t say goodbye. Not really.
Not the kind that

No Contest

There is an end in sight.
Thought that is not so bright!
There is strife
That we must climb: both you & I!

Stand!
To be Grand
But just about
the Ground.

Run!
To be Gone
As long along
the Fog.

Fly!
To be High
Only to reach
the Sky...

There is no finish line.
Though this just finds me fine!
There is life
This is just right: for you & I.

Comrade

O comrades here is a thought, the world may be two
    some ways open to discussion-true -or - false?.
 How if someone plunges let say into ocean may claim
  to touch air or see star or master or find the company
  of sunlight if he/she is to go through?.Oh!, yes,

Dear Comrade

Thank you for celebrating the warrior in me
And for being my shield in times of need
Offering those shoulders to nurse in chivalry 
My battle-wearied heart when it doth bleed

Thank you for celebrating my laughter 
And for giving me more reasons to smile
Offering to laugh heartily with me hereafter
My leaden soul could do to soar awhile

Comrade Love Needed

 
COMRADE LOVE NEEDED

Sorrow of Love is hard to bear
stretches my bones and 
I cannot go on

a need for comrades 
to speak about Love
lost their ability to love
can only love for moments 

when these moments come
they devour them like
rare chocolate
not enjoying them

my comrades have physical 
beauty, Spirit beauty I doubt 
they question commitment and honesty

She stands gallant 
For us: the staged pens 
Of growing knowledge
For the posted battle field
By honor to get hired

In lonely and scary dens
Tightly by duties pledge
For our efforts to yield
And live likewise if inspired

I said comrade to all my colleagues and friends and all of my herds
I thought and said and behaved all equally and fairly 
We ate together the same food, we slept together in the same bed
And we read together the same books
And of course we talked, discussed and debated the same topic
With great interests and

A Tribute To My Comrade Sisters

I am sitting down with my pen,
in a faraway land
For many days, I recalled my memories,
That faded with poor calories
I want to share the aesthetic childhood
spent in the lap of a maternal knighthood.

They are my sisters sent from heaven,
with so many magical possessions 
They stood through thick and thin,
like the mighty Jhansi queen

Winter freezes the heat of the year,

My lifelong dream comes true as the words pour out onto the lifeless sheet. Stories of disengaged minds, hate, love, and freedom from above are created. My Comrade Destination

The kind have been waiting for,
praying and hoping just to have,
anxious waiting at the door,
hoping you will find your way here.

Little did i know,
you were actually helter skelter,
looking for a way to destine here,
a place to settle and live peacefully.
