Carry me to my home Virginia
Headed south through Arlington
We can stop off in Manassas
On our way to Lovingston
Take me back to the Peaks of Otter
Let's return to Mabry Mill
We can drive the Blue Ridge Parkway
From the Meadows of Dan to Charlottesville
We'll stop in Schuyler on the way to Richmond
Watch the trees on the mountain sway
Ride the backroads of Campbell County
And see the small towns along the way
We'll raise some cane out in Bedford
In a field over near the county line
Ride the rails to Appomattox
And stop by Mama's at suppertime
We'll go cruise down the Eastern Shoreline
We'll lay a blanket out on the sand
Watch the ships sail out of Norfolk
And stroll down the beach hand in hand
Let's return back to our hometown
We'll float down the mighty river James
There we remember our favorite memories
And visit with old friends at a cafe on Main
Carry me back to little old Lynchburg
No matter how far I may roam
It's where I made my fondest memories
I'm proud to call Virginia my home
Prayer poems of peace
Bore fruit this weekend - two times -
Washington and Charlottesville:
Peace showed greater heart ...
Nine-Eleven was birthday
I stopped. Mature joy returns
Trump is the power
The voice of a nation
A moneyman, no morals or ethic code
A narcissist born for a life in capitalization
A nuclear bomb Desperate to explode
Trump's time in office has been a terrible show,
His speeches have little words and little meaning
As a president he's been aggressive and poor,
He's shown which way his beliefs are leaning
Trump wont denounce the Charlottesville haters,
He refuses to denounce the KKK
He's now become a right wing dictator
His own men don't agree with what he has to say
Trump is losing support all the time,
His right wing rhetoric is falling on deaf ears
The whole world saw what happened was a crime,
He's taking the USA back to the segregated years
Time's running out for president Trump,
Impeachment is long overdue
Time's running out for president Trump,
Impeachment is the right thing to do
In that darkest of time at Charlottesville
When hate ruffled their minds
And madness erupted in kind
But dumb Trump bluffed in haste,
Hate, hastes, I was dazed,
As wicked drove on Heyer in sour taste!
Both sides he claims to bait
Wait, is heaven in joy of our choice?
Or God in vengeance of Bannon grudge?
Albeit, or hell in bed rest?
Wall! Wall! Wall! He cried
Pouted as pig his anthem of division
Then comes release of his bosom, Arpaio
While in rage heaven dances in Texas
Tornado, hurricane and water flood
Our folks in need of our own
Donate to help Texans in pains
Think not of Brother's hater in our midst
Donate, brother's keeper you are.
Help before Trump turns us to nothing
Robert e Lee was a treasonous ole soul
To defeat the republic his goal
Slavery was abolished the people were free
But only two third a southern decree
The republic with stood the brutal onslaught
Capturing the rebels stopping the plot
50yrs after the civil war
They put up a monument to lee's slavery once more
In two thousand and seventeen
They thought it was time the south came clean
Remove ole Lee off his high horse
But the white supremest and KKK had no remorse
They march on Charlottesville with torches a blaze
Singing Nazi slogans eyes filled with craze
Their hate of black and Jews they proclaimed
Three dead and trump said no one to blame
All people just want to live free
But hate filled hearts and ignorant animosity
Another day in racist America rose in Charlottesville
White Sheets and a rope looking for brother to kill
Name of Heather Heyer
Name of Heather Heyer is magnified,
And we will finally feel satisfied inside;
Charlottesville,
Remembers her still;
In heaven daughter now does abide.

A Governor named Terry understands fake Supremacy
Microcosm of America, terrorism in Virginia
In the Name of History and a Statue (of General Lee)
I was but eight, when I felt shame because of hate
My own: a girl at school (perhaps a victim) wanted to fight
We slapped each other in the classroom: It didn't feel right
No witnesses but some gentler spirit intervened
I have treated women as gently as I could since
My surviving daughters are angels; and I their prince!
Unless we love (or avoid hate), life is a vulgar walk
Stepping over slimy snakes here, vamp cats and dark
Things there ... putrid puddles everywhere; gone the idyllic park
How can reliving the Nazi way seem so desirable
And in America? Where Equality became Reality, the individual
Could be special, without royal blood, New World still available?
WRITTEN & POSTED ON MONDAY, 14 August 2017
I saw Nazis march yesterday
upon the streets of Charlottesville.
And, with swastikas on display,
crazed clansmen chanted blood will spill.
I saw Satan grinning with pride
at racial slurs shouted in hate.
And, bigots standing by his side
help the violence escalate.
I saw torches light up the night,
snaking through the black neighborhoods.
And skinheads looking for a fight;
all that was missing were white hoods.
I saw white supremacists, proud
of drawing blood and spreading fear.
And a car plow into the crowd,
its intentions made all too clear.
I saw President Trump place blame
on both sides for this killing spree.
And, a shocked nation reel in shame
at how prejudiced he could be.
I saw the projected end of
tolerance and democracy.
And, mantras of hate replace love
with smugness and hypocrisy.

Where Heads Butt in the USA or
I Don't Believe in Bodily Harm
What we all did was to dilly dally
And our rear ends ended up in Raleigh;
Then later on back of little Billy Goat
Took a ride to somewhere in Shallotte.
We took another trip for a historical thrill;
Had an incredible tour of Charlottesville;
Went to Washington by way of Mt. Vernon.
To see the tree leaves which were turning.
We wanted to watch fish as they play,
So we both went back to Chesapeake Bay;
Up North again would go willy nilly
Where John Wayne was with a pilgrim in Philly.
Ventured South to Florida to find a fantasy
In a world which was made by Walt Disney
And nothing could be finer or even greater
Then being in Carolina with an awful alligator.

Today’s the day that Superman
Fell to earth and couldn’t stand
He lit upon his neck all wrong
And found he was no longer strong
His super powers gone all right
His horse’s name – old Kryptonite
