In the diaphanous domain
of the sapphire serene night,
the drizzle of moon’s silver sequins,
defining the existential epithet
of the dulcet melodic cadence,
adorned the pearl-laced waves
of the rolling sensuous sea,
spread seamlessly before me,
beyond the baroque shore,
where I sauntered only with me
in the corridor of the musical mind,
followed the tune of soulful symphony.

The rain-washed sparkling sky,
spreading the suffusing spectrum
of my kaleidoscopic opulent dreams,
weaved the tapestry of fantasy
with the lattice of chromatic imagery.
The surreal strings designed the splendor
of the charismatic rainbow motif,
arching over the halcyon horizon
that beckoned me to the concert of being,
let me feel fascinated the vibrato of life.

In the whirlpool of turbulent times,
swirling with the miasma of despair,
I turned the dented emotive impulse
into the lyrical crescendo of concerto.
On its sonorous serenading wings
I flew in the rhapsodic sky of sonata
to the harmonic realm of afflatus,
realized the essence of the nascent notion
that life is a song.
That’s when my life changed.

Remembering what she used to be.
How she could light the world ablaze without a second thought.
Her words like daggers, always ready for a fight.
Always wanting and waiting for the thrill of the adrenaline.
Her feels numb, not even feeling the hurt of being used anymore.
Was it the constant state of depression, anxiety, or self-hate?
She never stopped, always full speed, like a wildfire burning, until she couldn’t burn anymore.
Crashing down to rock bottom was the only way to find healing.
Healing was the only way to find the hidden path to the life she was destined to live.
Who knew a setup would turn into that long-awaited feeling after one meeting.
Knowing from the first date this was her yin to her yang, when her life changed.
Loving all of him, even the pieces in the dark corners with cobwebs.
They have fought each other’s battles and loved each other at their lowest.
Their love still ablaze to this day.
She didn’t think she would have this kind of love, her past self would never have let her have it or think she deserved it.
She’s living a life she only dreamed of.

*****
 a Curtal Sonnet

My life changed when suddenly Mom grew old,
the years had passed I was aware, too soon
the sunny afternoon became the dark
shadow of impending coil's mortal cold
journey underworld to the banks of gloom~
the ferryman will bid you to his barque.

Dont go! I cannot bear to be alone,
precious time has slipped away, left me stark
and naked in the darkess of new moon,
how soon for selfish sins must I atone?
Momma, disembark!

Premium Member Things Have Changed

Things have changed and you don't feel the same
Just showing affection to each other feels strange
What have I done to make you become this way
Was it my pass mistakes and the things that I say
Maybe the interest is lost and you can't tell me
Even without your saying so it isn't hard to see
Is there anything I can do to ignite our flame
Without both of us trying no one can lay the blame
We seem to be drawing not closer but further away
Intimacy is always missing almost every single day
Anger toward one another is going to affect the kids
We should talk things out before we blow our lids
We have so many reasons to try to work things out
It's not problem solving when we scream and shout
Things have to change and it's up to us
Let's rebuild our love with less pain and more trust

.When I was younger if I saw a box store I turned into the drive.
Spent an hour there, buying things I probably never needed.
Today I am sitting across from one, will be here an hour.
No desire to go across the street or into that store.
I am older now, not wiser, but I do not want to be poorer.
So I stay right here, in my car, saving fifty to a hundred dollars.

Women Who Changed The World

They moved like dawn through shadowed years,
With quiet hands and blazing hearts,
Their dreams outshone the weight of fears,
They rewrote fate in fractured parts.

Marie lit atoms' trembling core,
Her lantern glowed through science' veil;
While Rosa sat and shook the war
Of silence—made the strong rails pale.

Malala, bright with sharpened pen,
Still sings where tyrants silence books;
Jane healed the lives of chimp and den,
With patient heart and watching looks.

Ada wove numbers into flight,
A code that danced before the light—
They rose like stars from time's deep sea,
And left a map for you and me.

My soul welcomes challenges
with triumphant spirit
as my will soars toward
faith-flight of prayer wings
defying arrogance of self-confidence
while hiding in the strength of the Lord…

My heart basks in God's goodness
for every victory midst bouncing hope
with steadfastness to keep on
learning from trial and test
grateful for lessons
since transformation works
championing the new creation in me
against my carnal human nature…

Yes, I am what I am now
by the grace of my Creator
and through His mercy and might
along His miracles of marvellousness
my life is His workmanship
toward victorious bliss
in reaching-out with His love.

The old widow exercised
strict control over her daughter-in-law,
although she had no income,
being dependant on her son for survival.

Her son knew the rules she imposed
on his wife were tight, unfair, and excessive,
but could not stop his mother from doing so,
fearing it was a sin to oppose her
and keep her unhappy.

Such was the outlook of many people then.

His wife,her daughter-in-law,
on the other hand,
had cherished hope that
when her son married,
she would control her daughter-in-law.

But atmosphere changed-
when her son married, her mother- in- law expired
her daughter-in-law controlled her.

Season Of Colours

Season-Colours

The sunshing in the bright sky.
Rain drops Showering in the night time
The flowers blooming Slocoly.
I wanna fly-high in the sky.

The colours of the rainbows
green and lushy scenerio
yellow autums - pink springs
white snow and winter bell rings.

Purple veil evening, honey bees hovering
Orange sunset on a beach
Dried leaves road to reach,

Red Roses with sharp thorns
Like a beauty girl with sharp tougue

Blue Sea Blue sky
No pain No lie

Stay happy,
Live life long.. long life

“How my life has changed”

 “Reformation”
I wrote a poem
A long time ago.
It was full of despair
And gray cloudy skies.
It made me cry.

I then saw a child,
Playing in a park,
Laughing and full of joy.
I wrote no more
Of gray cloudy skies.

“Reformation-2”
I wrote a poem
The other day,
It was full of joy
And sunny skies.
It made me smile.

I then saw a man
Ranting in a park,
Spewing hate and telling lies.
I could no longer write
Of bright sunny skies.
It made me cry.

Reformation-3
I hear the thunder
I see the lightning
“Proud Boys” are marching,
Cities are burning,
Blood flows in our streets.

My life was changed.
There is fire in my pen,
Its ink has turned red.

That is not who I am
That’s not what I do.
For hate breeds hate,
Lies birth lies,
Wrongs know no wrong.
And contempt fosters contempt.

My heart cries out
What am I to do?

I wrote a poem
A long time ago...

You have changed

From the blueness of the sky,
there's truth hidden beneath the skin.
Conscience knows the scene:
if not life, then death holds the truth,
so I choose to stay with the truth.

You raise love only to take life.
You sing love songs to the sun,
reciting lyrics of hate to the stars,
sharing my time with hate and death,
closing my tunnel to shine,
changing the channel when I cry,
giving motivations of failure when I try,
shutting down my dreams as you shout,
Placing stones beneath my bed,
promoting dreams of unpeaceful rest.
You have changed.

You give names of turbulent flow:
Gravity, you're pulling me down.
You used to sing songs of grace to the mercies.
Taking one step at a time was our pace;
living like kings and queens was the price.
Giving reasons,
you've become seasons—
you're falling leaves in the rainy season.

You open the eyes of the blind not to see,
You stir angry waves in the ocean:
fighting for the sea,
lullabies you used to sing—
Not with skepticism ;you were amazing.
But now,
you have changed.

Friendship

I was speaking to a friend

She said nothing had changed

But her eyes revealed

That nothing was the same

I stood looking at my friend

I had known since just a child

She indicated with her hand

That we should sit for a while

I was sitting with the friend

Who had stood by me through thick and thin

I tried to dismiss my feelings

But misgivings pushed their way up again

I felt anxious for this friend

Who had gifted me her heart

It was a lifelong friendship

That could not be torn apart

I respected the silence of a friend

A sibling from a different place

Regardless of the voiceless dilemma

Our friendship would survive unconquered and safe

Premium Member Three Days That Changed The World

Live out these days as a disciple
these three momentous life-changing days
here you've become one of Jesus's followers
at first, life was a joy following His way

But this Jesus had a price to pay
you began to wonder what's it all about
this your saviour arrested facing death
devastation filled your mind to even doubt

Before the mock trial of all trials
the Jews wanted this Jesus to die
even to the point of Barabbas being free
in all of this, your heart could only cry

In hiding, we all did go in fear
then women came to say Jesus is alive
Could this be true? We say, surely not!
so Peter and John went to see if clear

It was now, gospel news all around
Jesus had indeed risen from the dead
then He met us there in His real body
proving to one and all as the living bread

Looking back on these three amazing days
God proving His authority and divinity
I'm honoured to be called Jesus disciple
living for my Lord in His spiritual symphony
