God Stops Tower of Babel

God had with his finest sensors
Picked the edifice and its sponsors,
Then surfaced to have it videoed.
What angels could have Him radioed!

God,all along Himself radar,
Knew what to do to Man's ladder
And bombs can throw to burst bladder...
Bur-no!-He is always father:
Should God not be man's guide rather?

Men should only sparsely gather,
Save in streams with soaps that lather
No exceptions—Blast Men's Cadre!

And so the Tower kissed Nadir...

What is all this wild, crazy talk of Civil War
From enraged right-wing extremist groups?
Is rabble-rousing all they are living for,
A mad cadre of gun-toting nincompoops?
Who revere a narcissistic con man as a god
Cloaking themselves in conspiracist theory,
Clearly not discerning truth from a fraud.

Far-sighted Americans are growing weary
Of those who would tear down our nation
For the sake of a misguided egotistical man,
An ignorant fool risen far above his station
A desire to be a dictator, a diabolical plan,
Time will prove the folly of these miscreants
Our nation is stronger than they suspect.
We patriotic Americans give no credence
Flag, Anthem, and Constitution we respect.

I slide and heave with brittle bones
along this pitch black tunnel ,
twisting, rolling, writhing in a sea of tar.
Vapors hot and sticky
taunt my nose,
as thoughts of orange-red sunsets,
coral pink lagoons,
dream scene blue moon shadow are my visual anchor,
catalyst to daylight freedom quest.
Here I am scrawny innocent, squeezed like toothpaste
from a tube into a world of grime and dust,
dull humour, pulsing urban metros going nowhere.
Big Brother cameras snoop on sight, private eye,
prying eye, CCTV cadre choker.
Wolves in human form that tell us all to fly a kite.
Urban jungle watchtowers, venal dormant czars
who censor skylines,
giant concrete slabs that scar the heavens.
While I vet horizons new, has this gumption-driven fugitive swopped one form of jailer for another

We made a decision! Secrecy is evil!
So we reveal the secrets of our democracies
(they probably won’t kill us if they catch us)
Our leader’s face is visible, public, smug,
and confined to a foreign embassy! You have
no idea who we are!

For your sake, of course, we share stolen secrets
with dictators, tech firms and people we don’t
even know! We expose the surveillance scheme,
the diplomatic lie, the unauthorized weapon but
our bleak revelations are a moral black hole:
What is secret or hidden, whether for better or worse
is revealed by a cadre un-elected and unknown!
You have no idea who we are! You have no idea
what to believe!

We do this for you! Secrecy is bad! You have no
idea who we are! Do you trust us yet?
Hey! Do you trust us now?

To Whatever End

I was a member of your cadre
I was one of the coven
I sailed with you in the seaspray
I rode in deserts hotter than an oven

I blazed with power brighter than a fire
I delved into the well
I soared on the winds and higher
I fought monsters no mortal could fell

I felt the pain as deeply
I heard the clanging of the bells
The journey did not come cheaply
I wept when you fell

Your world will live inside me
As I have lived in it
You will live and guide me
For I will not forget

Your story is not done
But I’ve turned the final page
I know that you have won
You’ll live forever and an age

They might not understand
All you meant to me
This book is not my land
It’s just another fantasy

Declension

Man’s intrinsic apathy's negligence-justified frown
Is the actual defining substance of a mortal clown;
Who with hollowed prejudgments fellow men slays,
And likens to hallowed duty his thoughtless decays.

He is evil's meekest martyr by doom's onus bound,
The cold-blooded outlaw donning dark's lucid veils;
His the bounden call to trim unwary lives that thrive,
His a sworn charge to hit to halt sea's merriest sails.

They're hell's happiest saints of true devoted cadre,
Obstinate desperados who without real reason hate;
Theirs rare glories for wanton vitriol by meanest fate
Met on innocent casualties of villainy's vicious adder.

What grand gratification fills world's cruelest hearts
That sting undeserving souls in most delicate parts?
Why do allegedly feeling minds grow numbest to cry,
Whilst their pleading victims in iron malevolence die?

How can life’s most cognitive kind find sweet preys,
In other creatures alike in mien and all visible ways?

Last One, Lord of the Flies

In this world this feeling of being secluded and alone
with only a cadre of youth that represents innocence and
the wilderness
In this whole wide world, the conch, the rule to speak
some democracy,
you can run fast, or you are easily upset, or you can take
charge just so you can control,
I guess the first order of business is to suss all this stuff out.
Maybe later, years later on Simon's son becomes more like Jack.
You know the avenue Piggy ventured from the start,
just what might just become like Roger
a purely sadistic sort.

An allegory
Like Franz Boas searching for ice cream
The University of Heidelberg
1386

He became fascinated by the Baffin Island Inuit.
Where a learned man such as himself could never
survive because he was not equipped with the
knowledge

back in those days
that was a revolutionary thought

In many ways it still seems to be this way,
I think just now.

Peace!

My Choice

My choice is of the queerest cadre:

A taste for appetites odd and no blot of ado,

And as you watch my eyes get sadder

And my face wince to painful melancholy,

Beaten by the mighty storms of fate,

You may dismiss it totally unholy!

My choice is of an unpopular path

Not loved by sojourners of this earth;

It’s the hidden highway that many miss,

Though it leads to true respite and blessed bliss.

Let me find relief from the weight of woe,

And your commands and bidding do;

This is the only part I ask of you

Because short is my life and my days fleeting few!

What informed my choice my Heavenly Father knows;

Whether I go to perdition or move to glories high;

Whether I shall soon prosper or my doom be nigh,

‘Tis all His omnipotent bidding and not my recalcitrant vows!

Is God There?

Does God or the Almighty exist? No. Stay unworried
Carry on with your evil works.
Yes but
(God is present in custom, justice, destructive notion, weakness, guilty
Feeling
You have trampled people piercing history
Again, you say God is Present?
You all have turned women into harlots,
'Taught men to call by hypocritical names
He is red, he is black, he is white....
'Today men have turned into ingredients’ of cadre and voting machine'
Will you say again God is Present?
You all have turned human values into merchandise in your final
Judgment
Poured men's blood into the light of big cities and palaces
Still today people are being crucified in deep suffering, looted and
repressed
Still now will you say God is present?

Flight

Tiny humming birds
Buzzing like bees
Fluttering fast
Fluctuating
Flying like a fleet of
Helicopters sucking
Up cargo

Red and black flowers
pollinated by
crews of workers
not colliding but collectively
Cooperating
a church on mission
absorbing, ingesting
cadre of co-laborers

Elaborating on service
A herd of helpers
Feeding, fashioning,
Fueling and feeling
Harmoniously humming
Purposed performers

Tiny humming birds
Buzzing like bees
Fluttering fast
Flying like a fleet of
Helicopters delivering
The Word

Span

This cadre of intent so compromised
by bridge of soul's relent exemplified,
retelliations quandary builds complied
in asking's way, my spirit only bides.

That compass merely ground, accomplicing
a higher level mounds to reveling.
Oh grant of time, so compliment, restring
Thy motives masking mine with their upswing!

Do span my entity, so nurturing
some grief's deterrent, heal my measuring,
once faith, forgotten now , faults leveling
the seal of truth, contingent on redeem!

Oh span of righteousness, I wish new scene
to cross this gap, contention's sullen ream,
a fold of my detention, not extreme
nor fear my own invent or love's new dream!
