Thank You
For The Tacos!!!
Taco Tuesday, I Guess...

Accidentally.

I Didn't Manifest
Potatoes Out Of
Thin Air, And
I Don’t Care
What You Think.

Me And A Recipe
And A Bag Of
Ingredients
Didn't Do Any
Work... Just
Played With
The Oven.

My Head Isn’t
CABBAGES!
'Mr. Are-What-You-Eater!'

It's Garlic, At Best...
You Know The Rest.

Leftovers From
What I Made
Yesterday...

And They Are:

SoOO0ooOOo0
GOoo000Oo00d...

Thanks,
Taco Tuesday Food Creator,
Your Majesty:

Yummm!

A Warning for the Recently Widowed

When my ashes are brought home
don’t place them on a mantel
between the tacky Hummel figurines.

Tip them out onto the backyard
to nourish the cabbages.

I am not coming back,
but check the wind once more,
I might blow into the house again
and the dust-buster will clog up.

Do not look for me in the sky,
I am not there,
nor on or under the earth -
please really?

I may appear to you at night
if you lay with another man,
haunt you
if you marry again,
but that’s just me
and my little insecurities.

Also dear, be warned
I still retain the power
to trigger the cat to pee on your bed
if you neglect
to dust my photograph.

Love yer.

Premium Member The Lament of Zeus

Thou, Minos, know I’m weary of all things,
Of wars and deaths and cabbages and kings.
I wield that battered shield that is the sky,
And with my strength protect what ‘neath doth lie:
But what when Earth itself would wish to die?

Gratification of Senses Adagietto

His tears faded away
with the most concerning
image of tommorrow ever
seen
modern usage of a Jollux
man. Spearing to victory
or so he seemed
as he speared up
 meat and cabbages
for the supper he
had planned.
It would exclude his wife
who wished him
to look to something more
healthy
as he would only smile
at the sight of fat and richly
savoring treats.
He used the term
Beef-witted to decribe her
as she only liked to
shame him
might she find support against him
with snoutflairs
aannd consorted people
"those who wished us apart:
mind you they seek tresure
and lack the concern for your
well being"
he told his wife as she
looked lustinhly at the folk
on the hot busy beach.
" might a need to be apart
from me find you with the studs
here watching you
My Darling?"
She frowned and spoke of his
wonderings as trival and him
as crazy: knowing that he
only wished her to
trusted and true to him

Premium Member she gardened herself happy

Marta decided to garden herself happy
It was the thing she used to love to do
with her grandparents, Big Pappy
and her grandmother, Nora Sue.

They had spent many hours planting their seeds
Hoeing, tilling, raking, and getting rid of weeds
their bounty came in July, and sometimes in June
They were still working, singing a communal tune.

Big pappy would whistle, Nora Sue would hum.
Marta planted her garden, chewing her gum
Putting seed packages on stakes so she would remember
what she had planted; what she would can in September

As she made these new memories, she remembered her roots.
Her apple trees were generous, they provided her fruits.
Carrots, cabbages, corn and pumpkins came along this July.
She smiled at the heavens, feeling her grandparents in the sky.

Premium Member Yesterday's Wishes

Yesterday's wishes
have flown like pigs
leaving their wings
to the cabbages
and to the kings,
(whatever
that may mean).

Yesterday's wishes
are broken
like dishes,
an earthquake's
fatality
(the physics
of love).

Yesterday's wishes
are today's
fragmented
actuality,
the reality
(on file
for posterity).

Premium Member carrot and cabbage pies

Detroit rabbit couple ride their fish balloon in the Michigan skies
They like what they are throwing; there is happiness in their eyes
We wonder if they know what they are doing; as they throw out some pies
Made of carrots and cabbages, not delectable unless you are flies.

Premium Member If I led Russia?

Some different tactics in negating a war, a Russian
Schematic, quite probable i'm sure.! To any armies
Poised to strike.? Consider this soldiers' as you might?
Like 2 acres of land? to till and harrow; make ponds with
Fish, build greenhouses full of marrows? Potatoes radish
Sheep and a cow, free range chickens cabbages in rows.'
Your very own house, on rich fertile land a generous grant
To develop and plan, the space is here, we're free market
Now..' communisam went west.' The air here is pure and how!
There's a lot of whats best..just drop the weapons leave
War stuff. Make love and prosper, theres more than enough.' Find time to live a more familiy life, come east
For the promise, we bet that you'll like.! Just park your tanks
And buy a boat' theres lakes and rivers where you can
Float.' Away on weekends.. Then return to work build your
Dreams you can go (full flight) theres lots of ladies all
Un-jabbed so many.! Such healthy children; they can carry'
So Mister Putin..I hope you'll agree.? To stop more killing?
Just some advice from me.!

Premium Member my son told me he likes Beyonce's new song, 16 cabbages

it is good
and he's got imaginary games of cricket
being played in his head
he tells me the score
and what the pitch is like
in his head

in an attempt to find that innocence again
i started doing the same
so that when i'm at work
i'm not really there
but on that cricket pitch
in my head

i told my friend about it
he told me about how he met his wife
at a single's night
to his surprise
as he thought she was at home
looking after the kids

Giant Things

We are the withdrawal
on a dappled day
White Vultures Swarm
bone dry is the day,
Now our lives are hasten
We are cheek by Jowl
Giant lies interlude
Secret tunes of cabbages and Kings
burgled routes to strawn away
In the last peek of love
A giant hope glistens to espy

Yes, Growing A Fine Ole Southern Garden

In the garden strawberries are dancing about so red
Momma's cantaloupes laying there just waiting to be ate
Over there luscious red roses resting in fertilized bed
Them thar fine butterbeans are sho' nuff blooming out too late
And that bright yellow corn this year is gonna yield a lot
Sister's radishes, man what a fine and most tasty treat
Watermelons over there looking great in the corner plot
Those orange colored carrots sho' gonna be good to eat
There growing gleaming dark green onions that will taste so fine
Grandpa's chick peas in long rows sho-nuff need to be gotten
Momma's own cabbages made a bumper crop so tasty to dine
Alas! Those tomatoes, the entire lot are all rotten.

Well friends, another down home well grown garden growing fine.
We do things alright here just below the Mississippi line.

Premium Member Green Worm - Nursery Rhyme

Once a green worm gets an Agro journal
Finds a write-up about the fresh vernal

Stops eating cabbages, collard and kale
Gets thrilled and goes on reading its own tale

Reads highly and grows into a bookworm
Feels unsafe to be there for a full term

            Gets panicked seeing killer solution
Figures out for a quick resolution

Mutates into a moth with glowing hues
Flights around flowers with a lovely muse
