Burst Poems | Examples

Bubble burst

If you want
To go out
Have a drink
Shake a leg

Take a bet
Take a chance
Win or lose
Have a dance

I don't really care

I don't care
All that much
Come and go
 it - so?

Have a run
Getting fit
I don't really
Give a...

What do you want
Do you know
Please yourself
Let it - go

Take a risk
Feet first
Jump right in
Bubble - burst

If you think about, how you live your life
What do you want to leave behind?
I want to see the world, I want to know that I
Did the very best that I could

I pissed myself
I'm getting old
It was warm
It went - cold

Do you love?
Is that enough?
Are you the one?
I think I'm done.

A Burst of Light

oh
when
love
is right
while
every
star
is bright
love
comes straight
from
the heart
through
a
sudden
burst of light

Premium Member Bubbles

Bubbles
Everywhere
Shimmering spheres
Iridescent air

FLEETING FANCY!
Rainbow's glare!
Fragile dance!
Delicate snare!

Fragile and bright
Reflecting light
Shimmering sight
Playful flight

POP!
BURST!
Fading light

In the air we see
Ephemeral beauty
Fleetingly free

Echo of dreams!
Fleeting decree!
Fragile reflection
For all to see!

Bubbles... bubbles...
A whispered tale

Transient beauty!
A whispered wail!
Illusion shattered!
A fragile sail!

Fading...
Vanishing...
Without...
fail.

Premium Member Radio Burst

Eight billion years
it has taken the fast radio burst
to travel from an unknown where
to here.
A millisecond of energy
that defies rational explanation.
The universe may be microwaving
a bowl of popcorn,
a bowl twice the size of Sol,
but are we a show worth watching?

K Word Kaleidoscopic

Kaleidoscopic
A great K topic.

Changing forms,
Brilliant colors disperse,
What a show it performs.
A cataclysmic view burst.

Patterns in motion,
Of colors and shapes
Creating an explosion
What a sight it creates.

Bubble of Lost Dreams

With an arrow in the quiver

I aim my bow of instinct

Draw back slow, with intention I release

                     *pop*

Bursting the bubble of lost dreams

In hopes to awaken once again to

The journey of purpose

Premium Member Don'T Burst My Balloon

Don't burst my balloon
By raining on my parade
By saying, "It isn't so"
By loving me and leaving me

Don't burst my balloon
By pretending to be my friend
By saying, "It's not my fault"
By judging me, but not loving me

Don't burst my balloon
By trying to change me
By sailing into thin air
By lying to me

Don't burst my balloon
By leaving me out in the cold
By leaving me out in the rain
By saying, "Everything's changed'

Don't burst my balloon
By calling me a buffoon
By calling me a fool
By changing all the rules

Don't burst my balloon
By looking at me so strangely
By frowning, fussing, and fighting
By running away from the truth

Premium Member Sky Burst

Sweetest expression
as she smiled to greet her love,
as when they met long ago.
The sky burst with stars’
tremulous emotion.
Hungry first kiss then, and now.

Premium Member Bliss Bubbles Burst

Bliss bubbles burst upon our skin
Magnetic heat heightens
Love and light surges from within
Soul’s radiance brightens

As aliveness renews
Manifesting love’s hues
We clear our karmic dues

To quench heart’s thirst
Bliss bubbles burst

Premium Member Day Light Burst Swallows Up the Night-

Challenge the Oh wrath of day;
Corner light brilliancy to swallow the dark;
All I see, never be;
This the distance height of the day sunlight;
Swallows up the darkness whole;
the nights no more the night is gone away;
Sparrows and Robins nestled in  branches as they sway;
Day light burst shallows up the night;

Cottage of Sodom and Gomorrah

He apparently cried the entire winter
All alone from the inside
By the side of our lake

We didn’t know
He wept from his broken pipes

Beds couches book cases wall paintings
Picture windows filled with sunrises
Sodom and Gomorrah drown
In fountains of cold
Skirted with ceiling-high black mold

True
I had glanced back late last fall
With thirty years of memories and love

My disobedience to God answered
I suppose

We always thought there’d be one more summer.

They Meet But Do Not Greet

They would each day meet
But each other not greet,
Along thrashing like a fleet,
Their faces a blank sheet;
Their pride some conceived feat …

Sometimes from each other
Moving farther and further,
On galloping like a horse
Showing off speed on a Death Course
But prejudice enriching its heat,
Reconciliation ‘A Never-To-Meet’,
And their dreams ‘A Never-To-Beat …

Let the whole world’s God’s Sheep bleat!

Yet, this is all about Ego
Two Guys just can’t let go,
Every new day daring a burst
To soon be declared The World’s Worst.
