Oceanic moonlight, glows on her soft hands.
Her heavenly torso so at rest on cool sands.

Title: Translation in Enblish
“The Girl from Ipanenma”
Strolling in dreamy Ipanema!
Our long, planned, dream trip came true.
Stiil in wrapped in beads of love to forever be!
Angelic fantasia, bronzed, Columbian you.
We angels, in love, though decades have passed!
Looking into the azure sky, I turn to touch you.
Wondering which Brazilian cloud has room!
For us...the hot blooded-two!
Times when you are callled away know my fidelity
Longing for you each minute, each hour, each day.
Confident, that I, your obedient monarch butterfly
Will always be by your side, for an eternally stay!
Whether here or anywhere, always in wonder I stand.
Intoxicated and I am desparately in love with you.
And with you alone,I am your tropical ,
You, my Adonis of a man~ black hair, eyes ofazure blure!

A cloud, a drop, a puddle, a stream
A river that drifts into a dream
As the water crests the curtain is drawn
A cascade of froth flows forever on
The breeze and spray swirl and sway
Like a gentle samba on a summer day
Butterflies dance from flower to tree
A journey of pure joy, forever free
A rainbow reaches up towards the sky
And colours a toucan as it passes by
Red, yellow, orange, blue
Tell me can this dream be true
Amidst the roar a silenced stride
Alone in solitude at cliff’s side
Escaping from stresses far away
Immersed in nature for a short stay
If carried away on a boat below
I wonder where that journey might go
But I know one day I must return here
To share this dream with one more dear
With humble heart too long concealed
May that one true love be revealed
Clouded memories drift with the mist
And take me back to that time of bliss
Dreams persist, I can’t resist
Thoughts of Iguacu with you
comic nation gave birth
to mannerisms, tricks, and jokes
infested, Brazil
Plucky Jamaica shocks the Copa America winners, Brazil, in a scoreless draw that propels the Reggae Girlz to the knockout stage for the first time in only their second Women’s World Cup, and with only one goal in Group stage. Contrast that with Brazil’s first group-stage exit since the 1995 World Cup. Not the best way for Brazil’s mighty Marta Vieira da Silva to end her sixth and final Women’s World Cup.
beautiful chaos
‘how the mighty have fallen’—
Reggae Girlz advance

Poetry notes:
"Oh How the Mighty Have Fallen" is a phrase that originates from 2 Samuel 1:19, an expression of David's lament over the death of Saul and Jonathan. It is also used today as a phrase to imply the decline of a once-great person or entity.
Behind the polished brass and red cedar
She lifts the florescent bottles and glasses
At her own classy pace
She’s earned that right by now
I understand well
Her beauty a galaxy
Bundled in dark space of the Miami hotel bar
She’ll not be rushed
To chop blend mix slice our Moscow Mules
Folds her arms
Reads the mantle of faces like unfinished portraits
Propped to her easel of cleavage
Makes me read her mind
I like the game
I think she does too
She’s heard a dirty poet’s lonely old thoughts
A thousand times over
At least lust pays attention
Tips well
Passes the night time game of shells
My eyes sit on elbows
Following her Brazilian-French silhouette
Like wind atop the Eifel Tower
Mardi Gras in Sau Paulo
I’d like her to take my hand
For a long autumn walk
To find Jim Morrison’s grave in Pere Lachaise
Ask her name
Strike it like a match
Steal the bourbon
Left on the Lizard King’s sad defiled headstone
Ask her what she really thinks.
You are free to shoot
fair words on
unjustice... but not free
to shoot bellicose artifacts
mortals...!
You are free to drop
prejudices for life...
but not to plunder
the consecrated
and concentrate history...
We must shelter the works
of our splendid artists!
Not general anti-democracy,
no total obscurantism!
Anomie, no!
Coup, no!
We in Brazil we were from time
of instantaneous inflation... !
Prices varied by minutes...
We would "steeplechase" inside
of the markets, chasing
of the price remarker and its
machine...!
We had to run faster
than everyone to reach to the cashier
with the price without further readjustment...
The morning we received
the salary, we were "rich"...
30 million cruzeiros in my pocket....
In the morning we could buy
2 shopping purchases, 2 pairs of shoes, and 2
pants and 2 shirts... in the afternoon everything
half... ! the other day, well
another day, it was already agony...!
intricate country
as I study and reflect
I understand less !
The real mind-blowing tournament,
Her football cups prized ornament;
Leaving without one eyes hollow,
Avid fans cease to squad follow...
Tough strikers playing out their hearts
Defenders halting ball that darts:
It's about luck but chiefly skill,
During practice better self kill!
Player free to display sweet role,
But dismissed as freak,no scored goal
How dare you miss a penalty
When what's at stake no novelty?
FIFA justifies earned dollars:
Blameless final whistle colours;
Out to make it competition
With ears for the right petition
Hosting it image-defining,
The stadium chosen keeps shining;
Sure,does raise an economy
Like would sound agronomy...
I learnt:Big budget in Brazil
For round leather retaining zeal.
though chimerical
country is dystopian
totally tropic
we voted for life
for non-fictional release
democratic feast
Here always in fight
inconfidence, never ends...
for bread and for life
PS Liberta quae sera tamen !
The Inconfidência Mineira was a political conspiracy organized by professionals, the military and members of the economic and social elite of the Captaincy of Minas Gerais in the late 1780s – a time when Brazil was still a Portuguese colony.
liberta quae sera tamen was the motto
Cheers stagy Brazil
where every day is always
always carnival !
~Dancing in BraziL~
Querido……………
I had a dream, I was dancing with you,in Brazil’s night air
Better yet, under colored lights,at a tropical fair.
As in all my dreams, you are forever there.
In that elegant night, jasmined, silhouette, so rare.
Man of my lifetime, shine on me, your sensuous stare.
We, Orpheus and Eurydice, the notorious Greek romantic pair.
Samba stars, for we are heady tropical Brazilian fare…
Your head on my shoulder, at rest in my auburn, shiny hair!

Note~ Querido is ‘dear’ in Portuguese.
