Golden Brazil

burning hot sun gold
from north south east west here

California Gaslight

Trapped inside
his mirror
Prevarication
flows
A narcissist
parading
The emperors
— new clothes

Bahia of all saints,
                     lieu where the people

The Duck In the Pharmacy

Once there was a pharmacist in Brazil
Visited by a duck standing very still
He shook his head
When the duck said,
"Give me some lip gloss and put it on my bill"

Premium Member Sweet Garden Named Phil

There once was a sweet garden named Phil.

Whose terraces were straight up a hill.

His roses were sad in dark shade,

His produce was way under grade.

Making him the laughing stock in Brazil.

Snow

As the white flakes drift with
the wind,
In the middle of the undefined,
There’s a hush of flurries
Coming down like berries.
The blizzard is as chill,
As Brazil,
But with a frost that got tossed.
