Notes About The Poem

La chica de Ipanema

Oceanic moonlight, glows on her soft hands.

Her heavenly torso so at rest on cool sands.

Penning romantic poetry to touch you in any land!

                                        2/19/2025

                  Title: Translation in Enblish

Nice and dreamy! I love how the ocean and moonlight set such a calm, romantic mood. Simple but vivid imagery that really pulls you in.

Being older than you, i dont even know when this came out, but glad it brought back sweet memories for you. I was way grown up when this hit the charts, i remember the hits of my youth as well. I life famous foreign singers like Edith Piaf who preceeded me in yesrs. Goesn’t maaterm i will be 87 soon and have been lucky to have lived through many genres of music, i know many tunes. They were so pietically composed. Loove, Granny Pangie xx.
