After sun there is rain
then her and her brandy on
a gloomy balcony—
moon sharp like a forced smile
Dark skin folds under 
a dark, windy night, in
chocolatey air—with a note of
chemical cherry, candied like her lips
imprinted in the snifter’s memory
It doesn’t keep track
of the route of sun, only
the dusty cabinet and her
trembling finger around its neck

The green leafed tree in the harbor.
There the freights are advanced.
Sailors with quality tools, while 
diners feast and play chess. The edge
Of the merchants dine hall has a Blindspot
where tugboats honk there horn to
enter the harbor. A large pile of bones
where the chef has stacked them, for
the jewelers to retrieve them to make

                                a happy hour'gal

Brandy and Petey: a Perfect Love Tail

Brandy and Petey, a duo so sweet
Their love is a bond that's hard to beat
Petey, her pooch, has stolen her heart
Together they make the perfect pair, never to part

Brandy and Petey, they walk every day
Exploring the world in their own special way
Their love knows no bounds, it's plain to see
As they wander the world, just

Blind Date

George IV requested brandy 
the first time he beheld her
horrified at the sight of she 
who was to be his bride
Neither of them demanded a drink
so I couldn't be nearly as ugly 
as poor Caroline of Brunswick 
They wouldn’t have had time
to finish it anyway
both receiving word of a dire crisis 
they had to deal

The Pirate

Caverns, caves, and mystery
Along the Cornish coast
Pungent smell of misery
Did I see smugglers ghost?

Black Jack guarded his domain
Cutlass drawn and fighting stance
Willing to inflict bloody pain, guarding
Brandy wine from far off France.

The barrels roll in on stormy ocean
Heaved on shoulders, stashed in cave
Like zombies working, no emotion 
Dead they lie in unmarked grave.

Excise-men men have

From Snicker To Liquor

Rollo Rigby was a lover of candy
he kept a big supply ever handy.
But he became so obese
he waddled like geese.
He quit candy but is hooked on brandy
(making his life fine and dandy).

Brandy

Ate my Halloween candy
Brother is such a dandy
Why did he do it?
He’s a real misfit
I’ll feed him some bad brandy

Brandy and Heartbreak

I fell asleep thinking of you, I woke with tears in my eyes
Cold and alone because you're not here by my side
I did everything you wanted and it still wasn't enough to make you stay
So now my days are filled with brandy and heartbreak 

I'm trying to think of anything but you
Healing takes time, but

There once was a woman named Sandy
Who liked jelly candies and apricot brandy
While her teetotaler husband was away
She drank a bottle of brandy that day
When he was home enjoyed only the candy

Who was an old ailing insomniac
He tried pills
Added to ills
He should have been drinking brandy cognac

It's 4am and she's got me listening to love songs and drinking brandy
Reminiscing and thinking back to when we were happy
Now I'm sat here alone, missing you sadly

Things come to an end, and that's how it's got to be
