A Billion Billion Flowers

I wish I could give you a flower
One for every time I thought of you
Another for every time I loved you
And another for every time I wanted to kiss you
The problem is that I have loved you for so long
And loved you so strongly
The universe does not have that many flowers
So just know that my heart holds a billion billion flowers
And they are all yours, my love
With a billion billion more to come for now, until forever

Premium MemberA billion Dollar Soul

A billion can buy a bushel of silence
hectares of prime farmland or flashy private jets
It can buy a turd in stilettos and a pyrite hearted mistress.

A billion can buy you a secondhand spaceship
or an endless good run of wall street luck
it can buy a bloated lip- plastic nips and butts.

With a billion you can casually jump burning ships
change the scented steps of a double helix
or buy a fresh orphaned kidney if you so wish.
A billion can buy you onto underage islands
but then again so can 50 cents.
A billion can buy a cure but it won't
it will just make a billion more by prolonging disease.

They say money can't buy happiness
but I'd rather die on a champagne yacht
with half dozen painted chicks
than all alone under a soggy bridge.

A billion can quarry a slab of pink granite stone
but not a stitch of silk will anyone own
when death unchains the soul.

Premium MemberSmooth Caramel

You say you're not magic, but you conjur incredibly well
Thoughts of a wand forming happiness, a beautiful carousel
A ring that dispels loves hunger like a dinner bell
I choose to be drowned inside your pools of smooth caramel
May your sweetness be the last thing I ever see or smell
Damn the devil, YOU can have my soul; a confession I pray tell
The way you protect my heart shields me from every hell
My love is well past forever; no need, for your eyes to compel

Premium MemberO' God May I Have More Than 3 Billion Beats For Mine Heart- My Spokenword -

ELOHIM in my heart of hearts
Created Jehovah jireh
First energy Spirit free
Came into being to be
Me first develop 3 weeks my heartbeats
Once In and out of heaven before there's a blood
That flows the pump through me
Spirit runs resonates free
God ordained us before the three weeks of life
Just as the heart of man beats nearly 3 billion times from physical birth unto physical death Three billion beats, 3 billion beats, 3 billion times
From physical birth to physical death my heart beats 3 million beats
God kisses us gives us the breath of His life
You may wonder what I'm asking for,
O' Father God give me more than just 3 billion beats of my heart more than just 3 billion ever more so than just a human feeling my spirit resonate my heart keep me alive on this side of the Earth and you grant me more than just 3 billion beats
O Father may I have more than just 3 billion beats of my heart, Hallelujah

Premium MemberSix Days Or Six Billion Years

Just six days was all it took God
to create the heavens and earth.
Most people dismiss this as odd,
just as they view the virgin birth.

Those who say God does not exist,
choose to believe the scientists.
Some try the Word of God to twist
by making a day an eon.

When the subject is origins,
one cannot trust the scientists.
Science provides explanations
of the way the natural world works.

Think through all the speculations
of how what exists came to be,
and you will be none the wiser,
after the exercise is through.

If as many strongly suggest
what now exists came from nothing,
laws nor eons create nothing,
so, we do know this is not true.

Nature is governed by great laws
despite its sheer complexity.
She declares that her creator
is divine, wise, and infinite.

Even if we start with order,
six billion years will yield decay,
and not the stunning symmetry
that science constantly unfolds.

Six billion years cannot create
what God accomplished in six days.
The mysteries that nature holds,
six billion years cannot unfold.

Premium MemberSeven Billion Dreams, One Planet, Consume With Care

We are depleting our planet little by little while taking what we need
perhaps this is the time to give back to Mother Earth and plant a seed
Imagine yourself in the forest picking chanterelles, like times of old
Wild animals running free, deer panting by the river with eyes of gold
Take a deep breath in, (hold) breathe out
Giant trees with leafy arms that encircle you with love and breeze
they talk to you in whispers, about the magical ignite of precious soil
Best part of you is now immersed inside this magical embroil
you are part of the whole, part of everything that breathes
Take a deep breath in, (hold) breathe out
Place your back against the trunk of a tree and allow the energy to enter
Up in the heavens the angels are sending you rays of golden sun
Your creator is re-shaping you like a soft pliable piece of clay
he wants you back tot he original shape of the creature you once were
Take a deep breath in, (hold) breathe out
You own blessed hands, a blessed heart and a capable body that works
give thanks for the gift of living, give thanks to Mother Earth
and the One who has given you life, you are loved beyond all measure.

7 Billion Super Kill

7 billion super kill
i wonder too about all this
my idle mind goes into overdrive
i think of the 7 billion humans
the ruling elite may or may not kill off
leaving just 500 million left alive
they don’t need our taxes
i was thinking 'sensibly' how they would do this?
a virus is too iffy
nukes too destructive/radioactive
how about sending unmanned space probes
to asteroids with spare engines
put the engines on the rocks and fly them to earth
all gps guided
either say the rocks are for mining for recourses
or just use them as a weapon to kill 7 billion
my idle mind lol...

Premium Member8 Billion Wards of the States

All 8 billion of us
have mental illness
some
subtly
so
others profound
its a matter of degree
of shade..

some reach out - adapt
become chefs-CEOS- presidents
others curl inward
cannibalize themselves
crapping out
psychopaths
creeping about
raking fangs along
our plump peace cloud...

We've emptied asylums
population at critical mass
somebodies gonna crack
lay twisted neck upon the tracks
derailing society
plucking lives
off the vine
before
they're
ripe

A Billion Light-Years in the Past
David J Walker

Star Light
Star bright
I look to you for the solution
Tonight
Are we the offspring of
Single-cell
Are viruses invading us
In Sedulous successions
Does evolution drive intelligence
Or does intelligence drive evolution
Star Light
I wonder how far away you are tonight
with the solution
A billion light-years in the past?

Almost 8 Billion

We’re the electromagnetic spectrum;
Particles, waves, almost eight billion strong.
To coherent frequencies some belong,
some divided by color through prism.
Varying energies from low to high,
narrowly diffracted photons scatter.
Lacking mass, believing we don’t matter,
Invisible to the unaided eye.

Synchronized, polarized, amplified beams,
collimated waves propagating dreams,
refracted rays bend to reflected streams
We may choose to oscillate to and fro
by joining a wave in communal flow,
or as single sparks in diffusive glow

An insane amount, it's becoming tragically clear

Premium MemberA Billion Ponds

A Billion Ponds
----------------

I came to the land of a billion ponds
where they said there would be (one day) a million more.
A billion ponds shimmered in sunsets;
lined up purposefully for my delight.

A billion birds or more perished on these ponds
and they made twilight unbearable for me,
these billion birds on the trillion million ponds.

So I went away from ponds - all of them - far from the million,
or was it a trillion - the numbers in my head...
I went away from them and all the birds
but tweet of them on Twitter to the millions, (who forget).

One In a Billion

one in a billion

you’re one in a billion
you’re very unique
a treasure to know
a diamond to seek

see with the eyes
that came with your birth
it’s not what a magazine
tells you you’re worth

you’re one that matters
who has a great fate,
it’s your own perfect being
walking through your gate

it’s not what someone says,
that you are or that you’re not
any changes you make
is for your being most sought

each of us is a gift
that belongs to the whole
like a puzzle makes a picture
together, is our magic to unfold
