For Men Everywhere One Billion Rising

1 Billion Rising.

For Men Everywhere.

Stop! Listen! Think! Act!

Stop!

Stop the abuse!

Of grand-daughters,
colleagues,
daughters,
girlfriends,
partners,
mothers,
sisters,
nieces,
wives,

all women.

Listen!

Listen to the voices!

Of grand-daughters,
colleagues,
daughters,
girlfriends,
partners,
mothers,
sisters,
nieces,
wives,

all women.

Think!

Think of how you treat,

grand-daughters,
colleagues,
daughters,
girlfriends,
partners,
mothers,
sisters,
nieces,
wives,

all women.

Act!

Act now to change yourself!

Stop! Listen! Think! Act!

The violence,
the abuse,
the rape,

stops when you stop,

the violence,
the abuse,
the rape.

Stop! Listen! Think! Act!

The violence,
the abuse,
the rape,

is perpetrated by,

grand-fathers,
colleagues,
boyfriends,
husbands,
nephews,
brothers,
partners,
fathers,
uncles,

men,

all men.

Stop! Listen! Think! Act!

The violence,
the abuse,
the rape,

stops when us men stop,

The violence,
the abuse,
the rape,

today, now.

Stop! Listen! Think! Act!

A Billion Soul Mates

A Billion Soul Mates
By Rick Rucker

I don’t think that there’s one “soul mate,”
No more than there is a “perfect” date.

In searching for a match,
I easily found a glorious catch!

To say I love her, makes me a liar,
She simply set my Heart afire!

When I saw her, I felt Doom,
There she was, across the room,

I knew my Heart would not long last,
It would burn up very fast.

I saw her first, then she smiled,
Suddenly, my Heart went wild!

Her face was like a Vermeer painting,
Now, I was afraid of fainting!

I knew that I would fall in Love,
And said a prayer to those Above.

I was struck so hard by her beauty,
I forgot to do my “duty.”

In my hand, I held a rose,
But I was frozen, head to toes!

In front of me, the Love I seek,
Why can’t I get my tongue to speak?

Finally, with an effort heroic,
I tried to appear quite stoic,

And not drool all over her,
That we ate is still a blur,

The first thing that I recall,
When escaping from my thrall,

We were standing near her car,
The best date I’d had, by far.

As I watched her car leave,
‘Twas then that I began to grieve.

I knew I’d made the date a mess,
What she thought, I could only guess.

Driving home, I thought it through,
And decided what I’d do,

I’d not call her, in that way,
I wouldn’t have to hear her say,

That she’d not see me more,
Which would drop me to the floor!

After an agonizing week,
I called her, and in a voice quite meek,

And asked on another date,
“Yes,” her answer, I can relate!

A dozen more have we had since then,
We’re planning on what happens when,

We’ve become more than each other’s friend,
And we will be together ‘til The End!

And so, I’m trying to let you see,
That if a common guy, like me

Can find his Love, with this few dates,
There must be a billion “soul mates”

For each one of us,
A dozen on the next bus!

If you’ve not found her, don’t despair,
She’s just around that corner, there!

Premium Member What Billion Drops Make

WHAT BILLION DROPS MAKE

The ocean is made of what
Nothing but the splintered heart
Of cloud in billion drops of water
One making the other bigger
Fused in blue vastness they soar
Riding waves they crash on shore.

The life is made of what
Nothing but the molten heart
Gleaming in billion drops of tear
Joy and grief in tandem they bear
Welded in welling emotions they flow
The toils of life in them melt slow.

You are made of what
Nothing but sun’s sparkling dust
Flashing on billion drops of dew
As jewels on grass of morning meadow
Convey the tender feelings frayed
Your fear of fading away remains unsaid.

Almost 8 Billion

We’re the electromagnetic spectrum;
Particles, waves, almost eight billion strong.
To coherent frequencies some belong,
some divided by color through prism.
Varying energies from low to high,
narrowly diffracted photons scatter.
Lacking mass, believing we don’t matter,
Invisible to the unaided eye.

Synchronized, polarized, amplified beams,
collimated waves propagating dreams,
refracted rays bend to reflected streams
We may choose to oscillate to and fro
by joining a wave in communal flow,
or as single sparks in diffusive glow

One Billion Rising

Today we rise.

No more hiding in the shadows,

of culture,
creed,
tradition.

No more silent complicity,

defensive arguments,
sickening pretences,
shabby excuses,

for the actions of men,

brutal and coarse and vulgar and obscene and murderous and abusive.

Today, we rise,

as one.

Today the change starts,

with me,
within me.

Today we rise.

5 Billion Poor

5 BILLION POOR
5 BILLION POOR FORSOOTH DEMAND,
EQUALITY THROUGHOUT THE LAND,
MORE THAN A MILLION DOLLARS IN THE BANK IS GREED,
MORALITY GETS EVERYONE A FEED,
LETS VOTE ON THIS REFERENDUM,
MORAL QUESTION OF THE DEED,
LETS SHARE ALL OF PIGGIES GREED,
LEAVE IT A MILLION, ONE,
ALL EQUAL UNDER THE SOD,
GREEDY ONES ARE SELFISH CLODS,
LETS FIX THE PLANET, GIVE A NOD,
NO POINT ACCEPTING GREED,
5 BILLION WANT THIS, GOD....
YES INDEED. Don
Minority groups control the world?
Why should we the multi-dudes, of multitudes,
of more than 5 billion VOTERS put up with the greedy rich,
we don't have to, we have Facebook :}
to vote Nasty, rob your neighbour GREED out.

Are we mentally, morally, strong enough?
We must Do it, but Keep the old system running everywhere !
But, no one individual, to earn more than a million dollars US!
Moral redirection of the wealth of greed to worthy beneficiaries ,
eg: FAIR paid for work in the 3rd world no longer 3rd world nations! Every family to eventually have voter access to Facebook to vote on every important outcome on the planet...
Great living conditions for every person on the planet!
All great causes to be voted for on Facebook, majority rules!
Without Opression no need for people to leave their Homeland.
Except when on visiting during holidays:}
When the opressed Minorities have equality, and are treated fairly,
when all are content, Utopia is here...

We are such weak brained wonders,
that we allow psychologists to alter the world?
why would you go away from a brutal system that works?
to a pathetic system that doesn't work,
humans are sometimes like ANIMALS who need discipline,
without discipline there is no control,
where there is no respect there is anarchy,
 YES morality is long dead,
We need to go back to a system that worked.

Love For One Billion

Love for one billion
Marry and then divorce is a bit of a gambling

what does it matter if you're in love
waiting may make a billion.

Between a Million and a Billion Morning of Yesterday, There Is Only One For Today

Between a Million and a Billion Morning of Yesterday, There is Only One for Today

Those who does not enjoy today maybe there is no more time for them to do it tomorrow, and every mistakes that we have committed for the first time yesterday, we won’t want to repeat those today.
Life is so comparatively so enjoy every second to be always cheerful and positive, because a smile give more joy than tears.
Acceptance is the answer to many things and then go on with our life, because we are alone in many cases.
Even we are standing along, we should keep thinking optimistic because there always be good opportunities arrive to us after setbacks, a bad day does not meant that we will be lousy for the entire week, month, year or life.
Have incessant self-confidence with faith then all will be well again, there is no mountain too high, so we always have the way to get to the other side if we take the time.
Just look back into our own life, sometimes we’re moving abit forward or backward, but we still can make it to the end, there are plenty of other opportunities to use if we want to put our effort.
Today we can start again and put an end to the past, change our life by starting it right now, never waiting for something better as time wait for nobody.
Between a million and a billion morning of yesterday, there is only one for today and I would never want to let this day go by without telling You “never give up, there is always a solution for everything”, if we want to accept it, want to go search for it, or decide to give it up directly.

I wish you a healthy life.
Kindly Regards,

Premium Member A Billion Colored Rain Drops

I'm falling, falling, up from my rage!
Words unwound in convoluted strings.
All my thoughts rejected by the page.

I am a lost bird with backward wings.
Trying hard to escape my restraints.
Words unwound in convoluted strings.

I look towards heaven and the saints.
Grasping for answers to set me free.
Trying hard to escape my restraints.

An upside down backwards symphony.
All those notes I wish to contain.
Grasping for answers to set me free.

Like a billion drops of colored rain.
Waiting to be absorbed by my pen.
All those notes I wish to contain.

I will never be the same again.
I'm falling, falling, up from my rage.
Waiting to be absorbed by my pen.
All my thoughts collected on the page.

Premium Member A Billion Ponds

A Billion Ponds
----------------

I came to the land of a billion ponds
where they said there would be (one day) a million more.
A billion ponds shimmered in sunsets;
lined up purposefully for my delight.

A billion birds or more perished on these ponds
and they made twilight unbearable for me,
these billion birds on the trillion million ponds.

So I went away from ponds - all of them - far from the million,
or was it a trillion - the numbers in my head...
I went away from them and all the birds
but tweet of them on Twitter to the millions, (who forget).

The odds of going to a grocery store for a loaf of bread
And coming out with just that, you'd be severely misled

The Mother of Hundred Billion

I am the mother of hundred billion,
Now dumb and ears shut,
Orphaned by my own children,
For whom I bequeathed myself,
I am the Goddess of creation,
The creator of evolution,
Now I stand chained and hand cuffed,
Like a slave begging for clemency,
I am dragged to guillotine by my own sons,
The dagger pointed towards my chest,
Just to face this deception I fed you with milk?
Why a war between the nature and the nurtured?
I am pleading you to stop,
But nobody listens,
Stamping me with your metal feet,
Spewing pollutants on my face,
Why you fail to hear my cries?
Machines encroaches my body,
I bleed and bleed and smeared to death,
I made you clever, I gave myself for your inventions,
But that was for my children's comfort,
And now your acts are the catalysts of every global problem,
It's high time you stop your reckless exploitation of my crust,
Is society shaping means killing of public health?
I know what my babies need,
I gave you the Paradise,
But your science has changed my Biosphere,
You dig me for gold, extract my oil,
Suffocate me by dumping plastic,
Burn my skin with garbage and pollutants,
Artificial alloys, satellites and sources of energy,
Now I have lost my natural beauty!
So many Panels and so many Conventions,
Still not discovered the reason for Sea level rise?
Don't you think of my shedding tears,
My cries are shrinking the Arctic ice sheets,
Why humans are so eager to kill me?
But I never die alone,
And that is my biggest pain,
I am the mother of millions of species,
They all need me to survive,
Why humans alone fail to understand that?
Don’t force me to fight,
Let me always be a caring mother
Never turn me to a callous women
My weapons are disastrous,
Never make me to inflict those,
You can never win,
So Leave me alone – completely alone,
And never think I am nothing worth,
I am the Almighty Mother Earth.

The only planet in our solar system to enable life, planet Earth. The Earth is unique among planets in our solar system for having water in its liquid form at the surface. She has given us everything, everything to support our existence. Air, water, land, oceans, seas, clouds, rain, wind , breeze, food and all. When all species can understand that why humans alone stand as exceptions. STOP YOUR EXPLOITATION

Seven Billion Reasons

Another baby born, another bushel of wheat
Another piece of land, for another family to eat

Another net is cast, another fish is caught
Another fire in the forest, another tree sought
Another bird flees, another bird gone
No home for the beast, diversity all gone

Crops in the amazon, Rivers clogged up
Flooding in cities, Seas on the up
Nature under pressure, Pollution the price
Shortage of wheat, Shortage of Rice
Temperature rising, Deserts expanding

Oil running out, the world is in doubt
War for resources, the west uses force
While the poor beg in cities
Victims of policies, Victims of atrocities

Seas that are empty, bellies that are swelled
Mankind too many, Riots a plenty
The button is pushed, and humanity is hushed

The Earth is now empty, Heaven is full
And we are seven billion reasons
For God to cry “Treason” ”Treason”

And the stars look on, silent
And galaxies die alone
And no one will know.
This place,
Where once, our babies did grow.
But time will go on
And the earth is aglow
Just as it was, seven billion years ago.

Seven billion today
Tomorrow more
What is the real figure?
For all out Nuclear War?

A Billion Butterfly's

If she was the sun then i must become the moon...
Shes the bullets 2 my gun my obsession i consume...
How can i hold my tongue you fill my stomach with cocoons...
A billion butterflies now my hearts an open wound...
I never understood how our hearts were so in-tune...
Cupid got me good sniper tactics with the zoom...
I wanna be your king the only title ill assume...
If loving you is pain then ill never be immune...
Suppressed the beast in me so easily ..like light dissolving gloom...
A flames forever great full just to know it evolved from fumes...
A door that never closes hides a portal that we never use...
She grew a rose inside my heart a place i thought could never bloom...
Present , Past and Afterlife...One day I shall become your groom..
The day that you become my wife your hearts forever shatter proof...
Passion everlasting burns and yearns for just 1 simple truth...
To see your heeart forever smile theres nothing else id rather do.....

Ride Over Four Billion Mountains On a Baking Tray

Ride over 4000000000 mountains on a baked tray

Times a tide,
Divide a ride,
Equal to no one is the writhe of a sprite,
In a whirl of a rotating rhombus,
Is the real

The reality of an equilateral is the lathe of a scimitar

For no reason look beyond the y and see an x but never see a z
For that is the simultaneous division of a chime
And chimichangas do not dine they light and heat
So never ask one to tea accompanied with a clinking cyclic cube
For cubic dimensions are often multiplied by vertices of a vertical stagnant swerve
And a swerve is not a serve nor a serving nor a swear word either
Hither is the hidden and the hidden call out “hide” and then the hide becomes a rational game of geometrical germinations

Theories have tongues
Tongues have tangents
Is anyone really a triangle though?
Or any other shape really?
Is that all rather rhythmical
And rhyme is the masterful preparation akin to chop chop chopping a line of fresh vegetables for a dinner,

Foregone conclusion with or without a calculator
No test or exam could predict an pout of an outcome
Best learn chart chants then.

Lean no learning on a linguistic linguine pant tray
Option no a b c d e f g h on exponential journeys
For exponential journeys to the central locational key are best achieved through the petals of a rose
And that was the prediction of key and after thoughts of a signal erosion
Oh dear
Well that either said or did not say
Prehaps it is better if the pitter patter of the rain fell in awkward shaped
Misshaped misshaped

Times a tide,
Divide a ride,
Equal to no one is the writhe of a sprite,
In a whirl of a rotating rhombus,
Is the real

And that is the duty of the drag. The dog. The daring. And the dutiful. And the diligent daboecia whose eyes see no one but a little stick in the air. WOW what an isoamyl acetate that is to smell and taste.
