Premium Member To Be With You -

I love you,
that's not hard for me to say,
its not a prediction, or a reflection, it just is
a motion in my heart's ocean,
an ocean named Odyssey
a color called True For You,
I don't want to hide that from you like sparkle from a jewel,
hiding love is a difficult game,
an invisible flame starving for the fame of your name,
and sometimes love can get lost in the playing fields,

My soul can't wait 'till another lifetime to spark on your's,
my body won't survive the well wishes of Eternity's elasticity,
the gravity of my greed for you will not escape the orbit of obsession,

I can't afford another lifetime, another baptism in Beauty's bemusement,
Time will not outflank my love for you,
graves & guesses, epitaphs & epiphanies would only bruise my passion,
a will power refusing to withstand the winks of the clock towers torment,
the thick wick of my wonderlust must combust now or never,
we need to turn winter into spring,
flip silver into gold,
to make touch our bread,
push pink into red -

An untouched piano has no purpose,
like a lonely clown without a circus.
A boat has no destiny stuck at shore,
silent like a lion who's lost its roar.

Life is fragile like petals in puddles,
drowning from the adversity of struggles.
A perfect time for poetic lyrics.
The right response to silence critics.

Without poetry life lacks true meaning.
A suicide of speech when ink is screaming.
Scholars are wise, but their words lack beauty,
so rise like the sun, it's our moral duty.

Unleash the fountain of your artistic fire.
Poets are born to weave words which inspire!

Premium Member To All the Heart Breakers -A Zombie's Valentine

Wouldn't you rather~

Wouldn't you rather be dead?
Maybe shoot yourself in the head?
Over my dead heart, I'd never want to be a zombie like you.
The sight of your limbs are rotten all the time.
All synonyms say of you looks like a 3 legged swine.
Go ahead and do us all a favor,
hide and stash yourself away from all your neighbor.
I think I'd rather have my eyes stuck with glue
So I won't have to look at you
When it comes to family friends, you ain't got none.
You're always gonna be called the lonely retarded one.
Who could ever love a face like yours.
not even your mother see's pass your gores
No need for privacy when you pee
Go ahead and take a leak and drown yourself in the sea.
Don't think for one second you are irresistible
Love making with a zombie is impossible.

Wouldn't you rather be dead?
maybe shoot yourself in the head

The time to kill yourself is at hand.
Slicing your wrist is what we recommend.
Cut your tongue off, don't want to hear you squeal.
Blood all over, your face is no big deal
A sword or machete will only pick up the pace
I wanna see your guts pop out your mid-waist
Contaminated objects is a must
Anything to remove your face of disgust.
The easy part is the best
Once you are gone we will all feel blessed,
The flaw of your existence
Is what keeps us all in distance

Wouldn't you rather be dead?
maybe shoot yourself in the head

Close your eyes and die
No one wants to hear you cry
You said you wanted to be loved
believe me~ you're better off unloved
I say do yourself off
Anyways you've always had it rough...
Go ahead and scream
This is not a dream
Now see how you make me feel
All I want is for you to end your ugly ordeal.
I will praise this day of course
Knowing soon you'll be a rotting corpse.

happy valentine ~ TO: All My DEADBEAT X-es from Texas.

Premium Member Welcome To a Brand New World, Song Version

Welcome to a brand new world

Verse 1
How are you feeling right now?
Is there still a yearning in your heart?
You're probably like, ten million or more,
praying for a brand new start

Verse 2
What happened to the world you imagined?
Where justice and peace ruled the day...
Is it merely a dream or wishful thinking,
a fantasy that leads you astray

Chorus
Welcome to a brand new world...
where evil men cannot be found
No reason to fear the nighttime,
a place where you feel safe and sound
Welcome to a brand new world!
This is not just a dream...it's reality,
joy in the heart of each boy and girl,
Welcome to a brand new world!

Verse 3
God has shown us how to love
So why is true peace elusive?
Monsters and imposters hide who they are,
they send out doves with a Judas kiss

Verse 4
It's been about two thousand years now
Praying for God's kingdom to come
Now's not the time to lose patience or faith,
it's time for God's will to be done

Chorus
Welcome to a brand new world...
where evil men cannot be found
No reason to fear the nighttime,
a place where you feel safe and sound
Welcome to a brand new world!
This is not just a dream...it's reality,
joy in the heart of each boy and girl,
Welcome to a brand new world!

Welcome to a brand new world!
Welcome to a brand new world!
Welcome to a brand new world!

repeat and fade

Premium Member Honeymoon Serenade -edited to show video

Listen to the song at the link above on youtube. Sorry I can't figure out any way to put the song tune in this box

Just as the moon rises each night
and even as snow is caressed by its light,
then glowing, I'll rise, becoming your dawn,
your curved sleeping form to smile upon.

With eyes like bright stars, I then will embrace
the landscape of you, each small line on your face.
And surely you’ll mirror my worshiping glow,
for I am your moon and you are my snow.

I’ll keep shining down with each breath you take.
May I blaze in your dreams before you awake.
And softly I’ll whisper, “Keep sleeping, my dear.”
Your faithful beloved, I’ll always be here.

Premium Member Letter To Rhapsodical Rose

Here, I scribble a letter
to the rhapsodical rose,
dipping my quill in
stardust that slips
like a violet waterfall
from the tips of
white oak trees.
These marigold
orbs shine with
shimmering streaks
of sugar coated mist,
as I twist my palm
and breathe in
the lavender light
of kismet, while
tender tulips
soothingly sleep
upon the sweet seeds
of nostalgia.

O Mi Amour,
our lambent love
is but a succulent
sea full of stars,
where buttercup boats
sail in emerald
evanescence and
gentle lulls of
champagne waves
kiss those scarlet
shells of secrets,
echoing with
vibrant whale-songs.

Can you feel the
mulberry bluebells
chiming as I glide
on pistachio
plateau of promises?
Am I your soulful dynasty,
just as you are my
star-spun Prince
descended from the eden,
my healer from
charismatic realms and
my last lachrymose wish?

You're a museum
of art for the
moon-shaped chimera
of peonies painted
with hazel silk
and this chameleon
danger holds no
manifestation in
our foreign folklore,
because when
the last dewdrops
dance with sunlight,
holographic memories
of 'You and I',
will forever
remain alive in
the tamarind tales of
watercolor wildflowers.

So, when the
jinxed icicles cut
me with their
silver sword,
spring shivers
in snowy meadows
and the sun sets
along the horizon
of our ruffled story,
you'll always
hear these husky
notes of my
exotic scents
lingering in ivy
laced rains and
falling upon the
graffiti of your
ruby bones.

You'll eternally hear
celestial serenades,
singing in raspberry
language of our
incensed love which
will erase the
acetone sadness
of my unwritten absence
and those crimson
ribbons of violin's ode
will spin our saga
around those
slaty branches
of bitter destiny.

Premium Member Oh Lord, As I Lay Down To Sleep

Fear not of the undiscovered journey -
the soul’s compass will show you the way ~ the poet

 When the curtain finally falls
and angels soft chimed voices calls
there are no mourning tears to seep
Oh Lord, as I lay down to sleep.

Time to set forth upon my way
towards that honeyed, nectar ray
Pray not my dear loved ones to weep
Oh Lord, as I lay down to sleep.

Shell left behind for pure sheer bliss
all mind’s attachments to dismiss
eternal life so shall I reap
Oh Lord, as I lay down to sleep.

Loving arms gently guiding me
amongst heavenly sights I see
my saviour at my side to keep
Oh Lord, as I lay down to sleep.

Soul radiant as it takes flight
fleeing shackles from dark to light
Pray not my dear loved ones to weep
Oh Lord, I awake from deep sleep.

Premium Member As Father Is To His Daughter

Passing through framed windows like ours,
I recall your tales of reckless war and lost friends
that burned your innocence at 21... and though
you claimed flashes of courage, moist eyes
poured vulnerability looking calm, undaunted.
We both searched deeply into our souls
as a father is to his young daughter, that I wanted
to let you know, it was alright;
but that mound of shoulders turned away.

Down the years as officer and gentleman,
Time stole long weeks, absent from your dining chair,
leaving me resentful and bitter on hardened sills
until you arrive under crawling dock of stars.
But in free moments, how you cherished
me so; waking my cheeks at 3 am to race the winds,
to fly with a shooting neon, laughing with a blue moon.

You spoke of faith and honor if life dared a shame, oh
mild scent of your arms cuddling my girlish dreams...
until off you rode suddenly on heaven’s wheel.
I see you through all framed windows like ours,
that even if my iced breaths needed you more
as small flowers thirsted for rain, my anger was a cry
for love’s company... “ I have adored you
in moments of distance and nearness, if not
always, then for all eternity.”
Have I forgotten to open this, my soft, broken sigh?
Dad, everything is all right.

Premium Member A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To My Hanging

A funny thing happened on the way to my hanging
Couldn't sleep the night before my head was banging
I was innocent of a crime that I did not commit
But they roughed me up and got me to admit.

The face on the wanted posters said it was me
Anyone seeing those posters would be inclined to agree
I was in a horse drawn prison wagon with bars down the side
Thinking to myself, it will be my last ever ride.

Heading for the gallows then onto Boot hill
To pay for shooting a bank teller that I didn't kill
Two miles from the town all hell did break loose
Unbeknownst to me I'd be dodging the noose.

For ten desperados' brought the wagon to stop
Then ordered the guards, their weapons they drop
Some gang members got me out and they set me free
The gang leader approached and he looked just like me.

He said " in this life you look out for your own "
Then he told me something that I hadn't known
" We were Separated at birth and we had the same mother "
And that this mean desperado was in fact my twin brother .

" We heard that you'd been framed for our crime spree
But you are my brother and that's why we've set you free.
The teller had died because he went for his gun
We grabbed all the money and went on the run ".

He gave me some money and said " start a new life "
Told me head south, settle down and find a good wife
There was so much I wanted to ask him and so much to say
My brother said " some other time, best be on your way " .

Premium Member Someone Who Used To Be You

When splendor of love spun dreams ecstatic
Musings of fantasy waltzed joyous themes
On blossoms of meadows in prime of spring
And giggles of streams donning green prairies

I felt your presence my eager beats crooned
When halo of the moon ravished our mood
As melodic rhythms inflamed doting hearts
And voice of hot passion blazed our romance

You were sweet life that I cheerfully claimed
And I was to you what your triumph meant
But feelings euphoric soon lost their edge
When in winds of change vows of youth drifted

I saw you go there where lonesome souls cry
Where emotions despised strife of pale sighs
When day’s silence often filled awkward void
And haze of nights we spent gazing gray skies

When dawns soon arose enveloped in shroud
Love too got masked, cloaked in stygian clouds
And allure, once acclaimed, began to fade
As contempt of sameness dwindled our flames

As you leave this dream, dear, you know it too
No longer the birds choose to croon your tune
They are searching someone they loved and knew
The one they once wooed, who used to be you

Dance To Love - POTD - A Visual Art Poem Tribute

 POTD 23rd June 2019

Maria Williams
Presents

Dance to Love

A tribute to my Dad, the late - Wilfred Forbes

She danced with wild abandon
she danced without a care
With sun kissed skin, her arms flung wide
Wild flowers everywhere

I chanced upon this secret glade
while walking early morn
A sacred aura surrounded it
a jewel in the dawn

A type of place where angels dwell
A place of Hopes and Dreams
A magic place of lush green plants
And sparkling bubbling streams

I drew back lest she saw me,
I dared not break the spell
Wild petals swirled around her
and to the ground they fell

Like homage to a Goddess
 that she must surely be
For Gods to but gaze on
 not mortals such as me

She twirled around so fast
I could barely see her feet
And even though I stood afar
I knew she gave off heat

When her tempo slowed right down
 the air became quite chill
The Elements were but her slaves
she ordered them at will

I could have watched forever
 so mesmerized was I
What would I give to dance with you?
 I murmured with a sigh

To dance with wild abandon
 with this Angel from above
A hundred birds would sing out loud
to watch us Dance To Love

by Maria Williams

This tribute is an enactment of a vision as told to us by our late Dad, which he maintained he witnessed as a young man.
He was an extraordinary orchestral musician and teacher to
some world greats.
He was accomplished in no less than 18 instruments, his favorites being the lead violin and xylophone (played with 8 hammers).

Thank you for listening and watching this video.

Premium Member - I Tried To Say -

On a cloud I wrote - I love you
                                       But the cloud blew away
                                    On a tree I wrote - I love you
But someone cut down the tree
In the sand on the beach I wrote - I love you
But the waves wiped them away
In the wind, I cried - I love you
But the wind was too strong and no one could hear
In a small letter I wrote - I love you
But I never posted it - it was never sent
But you know - I love you
and my heart belongs to you

I look and ponder, watch you grow in haste
Explore with wonder, new experience taste
No fear encountered as you learn the ropes
Your sails adjusting, full with winds of hope.

But there are moments when the seeds of doubt
Without much warning spread and start to sprout
Then you need guidance, words which shed some light
Advice and promptings which once more excite.

I weigh my options when the waves rise high,
Stay in the background, tactful, on standby,
Not interfering, yet with cautious eye
Give needed help should threats intensify.

I am a lighthouse built on sound terrain
In times of darkness, you won’t call in vain.

Premium Member Sometimes We Don'T Get a Chance To Say Goodbye

sometimes
we don't get a chance
to say goodbye

you sit there
tears in your eyes
wondering why

and

it don't make sense
to be strong
because it stings

you can't explain
the pain each
memory brings

and

the guilt
of stupidity
leads to regret

images
in your mind
mean you can't forget

sadly

stubborn to reach out
means feelings
are not heard

spite leads to
unanswered questions
no last word

and

its not them
knocking at the door
they can't call

there is no point
saying sorry
to the wall

because

sometimes
we don't get a chance
to say goodbye

you sit there
tears in your eyes
wondering why
