Premium Member Once Is Enough

Oh for pity's sake put some clothes on,
the bracing air will steal your breath..
and I need you to stand and stay strong.

Cold comfort thrills from your chill touch
help me recall why I adore you so...

A chin of the ages rests on my shoulder in sweet affection,
two arms encircle my world in every direction.

Redtail hawk riding a thermal looks down..
what caught its gaze I wonder..

Will the day lend a hand through a pestering cloud,
or roll its eyes in thunder?

Such a fine firebrand you've stoked,
as I shave my face and call your bluff.,

Wishing the once would last forever..
though once was more than enough.

The Craigslist Thrill Killers

Elytte and Miranda Barbour murdered a man just to get a thrill.
It is always very stupid and senseless when people kill.
They said they killed him because they wanted to kill someone together.
If you're wondering when they'll get out of prison, the answer is never.
They pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and other charges and got life.
Elytte will never be able to kill another person and neither will his wife.
When Troy LaFerrara answered the Barbours Craigslist ad, he didn't know he was in danger.
While in court, LaFerrara's loved ones were very furious and they expressed their anger.
The Barbours are only 22 and 19, they're young enough to be my kids.
If they were my children, I wouldn't forgive them for what they did.

(This is a true story about Elytte and Miranda Barbour who murdered Troy LaFerrara.)

Premium Member Thrill of the Storm

This tropical storm has wind chimes singing.
Birds sheltered in trees have ceased their winging.
Rain blown sideways splashes upon my pane
As gusts of strong winds toss, in woeful bane.
Dark nimbus clouds abound in slate grey hues.

There is no thunder yet waves are raging,
Viewing safe inside feels quite engaging.
Olivia, now calmed into a storm...
Once a fearsome hurricane, lost her form.
We were given clues from Satellite views.

As rains fly, a thrilling sigh from my breast,
Knowing sun will prevail as winds take rest.
We have no fear of flooding on our hill,
So rain, come pounding on my window sill!
My guilty pleasure dawns while watching news.

I empathize with people near the sea
When waters rise and flooding makes them flee,
To feel such glee, I feel a bit contrite
As heavy rains keep falling through the night.
Yet, still I yearn to celebrate these blues!

Eight Word Challenge - After the Thrill Is Gone

Eight Word Challenge – After the Thrill is Gone

Like an exotic orchid in the glow
of moonbeams, I unfolded
vulnerable petals, inviting you in.
And even radiant rainbows would exult
in the opulence of our love.
But loving you was a roller coaster ride…
a ride you enjoyed; but the vicarious
thrill of waltzing on the edge of
an emotional chasm whittled away at my heart.

Now the thrill of the ride is gone,
and silken smiles on your satin lips
make a mockery of my feelings for you.
The impetus to love you has faded
like blush fading from the red roses
you left on my doorsteps last night.

Those heartbreaking red symbols of love,
I thrashed them; and their bruised petals
now adorn the garbage can in my backyard.
For they only multiplied my pain,
the pain you chiseled into my heart,
a heart still raw and deeply scarred...
after the thrill is gone.

Premium Member Thrill of Rain

smells like rain
can’t complain

time to run
let’s have fun

drizzles fall
hours enthrall

bare our toes
puddle flows

we both hop
till knees drop
~

rolls the dance
sweet romance

chilly air
windblown hair
-)

moon appears
showers clear

lips on lips
my heart flips

kisses wet
love’s roulette

tunes are played
serenade
 ~

his breaths pound
round and round

words in threes
he says..'please'

starry-eyed
'be my bride'
 ~*~

skies beguile
all’s worthwhile

hands a-swing
next...my ring!

each other
twogether

Thrill Ride

Love unexpectedly came,
pulled up and swung open the door
Took me on a thrill ride,
and I'm loving every moment of it
Passion autobahn,
no speed dating restrictions
Scenic route of the heart landscape,
shifting gears with the love joystick
It's a thrill ride,
such a rapid romantic ride
What a rush ... wind sweeping the hair
Hugging the curves,
throwing all caution up in the air
Don't mind the occasional speed bump:
those slick-paved spirited debates,
disagreements that test the limit of our patience
I love the coming together part,
as we enter the tunnel of love ...
whooshing in the dark
What a thrill ride,
I'm having the time of my life
Now we're moving slow,
got the motor set on cruise control
Your eyes are telling me
where you want my hands to go
Revved up kisses taste like
chocolate sundaes at the drive-in show
Don't pump the brakes
on this thrill ride
Hug me closer at the bend
Lets take this lover's highway
further than we could ever go as friends

Anticpating the Thrill of the Holidays

Nippy air bites the skin, sunlight trails off in a sky so morose;
bare trees contemplate the yellow grass below mourning their lost splendor;
be that messenger of the Season's Greetings and avoid being sad and alone...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

Assist me in decorating the pine-scented and candle-lit rooms ,
of my lair; please, come in and accept my hospitality with ardor;
let's chat over dinner and sparkling wine until darkness looms...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

Anticipate the thrill of the Holidays with a big smile spreading cheer:
dream of snow, of Santa riding his sleigh from the cold North Pole;
he'll remember every good kid who has shown obedience and grace...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of the year!

I looked for a Christmas Tree crossing the snowy boardline,
searching the nearest forest for the tallest, prittiest one
with the help of neighbors who had a good will and no fear...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of year!

So much I will share and learn this Holiday Season announcing a divine birth
to the Earth below brightened by candles, twinkling lights and mirth;
admire my decorations of garlands and golden bells to make you merrier...
welcome to my Holiday home at this very special time of year!

Family, friends and neighbors gather around this fireplace that will bewilder us,
let's remember the wonderful birth of our Savior Jesus, who came to visit us;
hear the song of the angels echoing through the chilly air...
welcome to my holiday home at this special time of year!

Premium Member The Thrill Is Gone

Used to run outside bundled up for winter.
Pulled my sled through snow to the hill where other
children slid with glee and our young hearts pounding.
Thrill of December.

Used to swing for hours in my day-time dreaming.
Played my records thinking of my Prince Charming.
Sang my love aloud in the woods to no one.
Thrill of my teen years.

Used to bike to town with my friends or sisters.
Ran and swam and walked to the park for snow cones.
Sports I played all day till the sun was setting.
Thrill of my summers.

Gone are firefly nights and my firework summers.
Thrills of childhood no longer hold enticement.
How I even dreamed while awake I wonder . . .
now that I’m older.

Premium Member To Fly

It would be a pure adrenaline freedom thrill to fly.
Flight motion is a dreamy adventure I would savor.
How excited I would be to Peter Pan the sky.

I feel certain the atmosphere would gladly comply.
Granting me ascent would be a most splendid favor.
It would be a pure adrenaline freedom thrill to fly.

Passing birds would wonder why and what was saying hi.
My desire to sky soar would never reduce or waver.
How excited I would be to Peter Pan the sky.

To sky view earth's wondrous beauty might make me cry.
Dipping and lifting thru blue could make me a flight craver.
It would be a pure adrenaline freedom thrill to fly.

My liftoff would be a spry leg jump and arm raising try.
I could be an artistic flying, smiling, cloud engraver.
How excited I would be to Peter Pan the sky.

Amplified amazing waves of euphoria would apply.
Each moment of exhilaration would grow me braver.
It would be a pure adrenaline freedom thrill to fly.
How excited I would be to Peter Pan the sky.

Premium Member Thrill of Night ITQ

Moon and stars, up in blackest skies
Breathing softly before night dies
Soon, the gentle sun shall arise,
Blazing beauty, warmth to chastise.

Before the day turned into night,
Peaceful sighs blew in winds of light,
Serene moon, star’s breathe so polite,
Tales of love on hearts she’ll excite.

Soft whispers of music stirring,
In hearts where hopes are recurring,
Amazing that I’m preferring,
Lines thwarted and soon they’re blurring.

Moonlight falls, flowing on the hills,
Perfect love, harmony who thrills.

Premium Member Passion Conquers the Thrill

Captured and chained
A cellar, my home
Neck manacle
Hands free to roam

As she sits astride
Taking me in
Deepening feeling
Flesh to skin

In throws of thrust
She gorges my love
In this darkened room
Freedom above

Her spasmodic scream
Orgasmic outs
Her breasts excited
In pert like pout

My standing feeling
Signals release
Internal fountain
Love hungry feast

Our bodies mellow
As we wilt, unite
Passion conquers
The thrill
Tonight

Premium Member A Thrill

I reached to touch a star,
Arms too short, I could not.
So, I dove inside me;
Transcending my body,
I reached out once again;
Holding shiny bauble.

“You are a beauty”;
Says I with a thrill.
“On, I am honored”;
Came its’ swift reply.
Who knew stars could speak?

Out of body
All souls can speak;
Their soul language,
Its so precious.

We converse,
We can touch
We are one.

One tribe;
One soul.

One!
