Solemn Seduction – for contest

soft winds are swallowed
by my wings
stolen
as the breath of lovers
waiting

unblinking eyes seducing
darkness
prying truth from camouflage

rotations of twist top head
listening for the silent
in silence

clinging to a white birch perch
moonlight’s searchlight
shifting shadows
nuances
of prey

soft wings and sleepy eyes
floating focus
beneath the star strewn sky

talons tensing...

Premium Member In My Closet
Mom kissed me on the forehead and tucked under my covers.
There is a chill all over me as I look over at the dark closet.
I am afraid…
Swallowing hard, I felt my heart beginning to race.
Alarm bells are going off inside, someone is watching.
I can feel...

Fear,
To some,
A chance to
Show character,
While to others, a
Huge adrenaline rush;
Heart pounding, muscles tensing,
To confront the danger head-on.
Opportunity or enemy?
Not truly known ‘til we face that moment.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Sensual Awakening
Awakened by consuming desire-electrifying fusion,

gently hugged, intensely jubilant!

Knowing lips moisten, now our passion quickens -

rising…surging…tensing…undone!

Volcanic waves x-ray your zenith…

Annunciation
Ah Gabriel!
How hard a task was laid on you,
how hard the trust,
how hard
to travel through
the empty miles of space
unto a cloistered girl
who knew no man,
to startle her
and race her heart
past fear,
and then announce
strange...

Seductively sweet aromatic pleasure

Is tea

Forlorn Hope
Poetic Form: Sonnet

Divined amassed, thinly advance their scope
bloodlines warrant one soul's intended quest
persuades enhanced history, constants hope
pastoral guides sculptors essence is blessed

Readiness spurs insights, smoothing passion
unforeseen tests that fool-hearted, not them
their unbidden stare on death's...

Premium Member Gent Morse and His Horse
With bent torso, fenced horse Corso,
Tows corpulent gent Morse into a Kent forest.

This portly source torments tense Corso to such a contentious extent
That he sends them off course with vehement force to show his discontent.

“Whoa”, vents the incensed Morse
With voice tense and hoarse from...

What's up?
Thanks for this interview,
old man.

You are either blind or confused,
but probably both.

Well, thanks,
and I appreciate you as well.
Now, I understand you want to talk about human consciousness.

We comprehend your language as limiting human consciousness.

Now would that be the royal "we"
and are you assuming something...

Experience
Our skin, embracing the touch
While the penetration of deep breaths succumb
Soft lips breathing hot about my neck
My lips and hands tracing the outline of your body
Fingers intertwine and our legs climb about each other
The sheets, they seem to tangle
Just as our clothes are sprawled across...

Premium Member Paranoid Delusions
Beelzebub arrived between the christmas lights strung inside my dorm,
Buzzing on my walls and brain to display what he must warn.

Voices scream inside my head when no one is around,
Dragging me deeper into my mind where I'll be lost and unfound.

Falling with legs above my...

One Flesh
violent power seduces within
moments equipping assurance,
swirling senses of embrace,
separating
             circumstances
confusing the present.

our bodies succumbed-motionless
form clouds above, trembles of loneliness.

outpouring rivers of wine,
her innocence,
my softness
aching squalls of temptation,
tender flesh...

A Lady
A LADY

"No lady am I." she would say with force,
tensing her shoulders and shaking her head.
I would smile and say, "Yes dear, but of course."
knowing she was truly a lady bred.

A spirited woman by her own design,
Dianne would speak out just what she thought.
Biting...

I Am Jinbukan
I see-the•! I brea-the•!
I pant, gasp, and hea-ve•!
Spirit crushing monster, inside.
All strength, mu-stered•!
Turning him aside.
Invisible clones attacking,
from every side.
My concentration stacking,
my training will preside.
Each movement must be crisp,
sharp, some soft, all intense.
Devastating strikes.
Impenetrable defense.
My master watches.
Burning eyes, bird of prey.
68 years and deadly.
Him the artist,...

Beating Resignation
Even in a place such as this
Our thoughts, unwanted will come
And feelings that I did not miss
Will march in, a quickening drum
It picks up my heartbeat, takes it along
But slows my mind to a halt
Looking around me, I still don't belong
I'm a speck of pepper...
