Fear

Fear,
To some,
A chance to
Show character,
While to others, a
Huge adrenaline rush;
Heart pounding, muscles tensing,
To confront the danger head-on.
Opportunity or enemy?
Not truly known ‘til we face that moment.

I like this. It's thought provoking. I would say if it gives you a rush, it is not even really fear. For example, rides at a carnival, I am not afraid of them but some are afraid of them. Real fear is something I never like!

Great job with this Etheree(A form that confounds me). The "line breaks" are controlled by the form yet you have melded them into a cohesive rhythm. Nicely done. thanks for entering the contest

Thank you very much, Greg! As always, I appreciate your positive, affirming comments, my friend. Congratulations on your #1 rhyming win with "A Bird and A Boy" - absolutely loved it!! If you have a minute, will you please read my acrostic, "Freedom," and let me know what you think? (Lots of views but no comments; not sure why). Thanks! :) Bartholomew
