Tattered Jeans and Old T-Shirts

That day by the lake,
tattered jeans and old t-shirts,
my hand in your back pocket as we walked,
your thumb
hooked over the top of my waistband.
It was hot,
...damned hot.

You tilted your hat at a silly angle and laughed,
I looked over and thought
'Hot,
...damned hot'

Smiles exchanged and then a kiss,
I think I melted inside.
We took turns walking backwards
holding both hands
drinking in the sight of each other.

Of course we fell,
you to the floor
and me...

completely in love.

Making a frame with my hands,
a captured moment,
'smile for the camera'
and what a smile it was.

Sitting together in the long grass,
both our hats at silly angles,
you made a frame in front of us,
as I kissed your cheek,
and captured a memory.

Images stored safely in my jeans pocket,
not the one with the hole,
that day by the lake...
it was perfect.

Only now I realise
one camera never worked.
The image of you, still vibrant
as that day,
but the one of us
you made with your hands
faded to barely a whisper.

That day by the lake
we both fell...
but only one fell in love.

No ones knows the darkness
Other than one who knows... the darkness
There is no snow
There is no white
Wings are clipped
There is no flight

Answers fly away in the air
Leaving the human heart in despair
Whiskey tumbles down the throat
No more am I the ambitious goat
Broken glass and twisted rope
Dusk invites my... my final cry

Love gave me peace for a while
Then love became ill as death hovered
Over caskets and flowers soon to be
Dancing with my dead thoughts in the open air
How do I say, I really do not care?
Seeking death and pain, a solace I wear

Angels greet those other than me
I, deserving of the dirt, you shall never see
The labyrinth of pain upon the graveyard paths
Many shall walk, yet not a one will be
Any angel that could take me to the sea
Drowning in pain, the knife sets me free

Let the night embrace you with honey dreams,
Where you find your beloved dressed in tangerine,
She promises love and you kiss her marmalade lips,
The trust you longed for, in her titian eyes is seen.

In the saffron valley where good things happen,
She sings to heal all your inner rustic wounds,
She offers you sip, from coral river of happiness,
And you believe her and listen to salmon sounds.

With bright orange sunshine, new day begins,
You hope someday, your orange lady you will find,
Your heart blooms like the young marigold,
Life seems beautiful, amber fears are left behind.

Attitude can be nurtured and changed
By you in spite of what has happened in your day
Confident people master it quickly
Despite what they are enduring
Enthusiasm is a side benefit that
Fosters team work positivity and friendship
Give yourself a break if you
Have had a bad day. We all have them.
Inspiring videos, loving people and supportive friends
Jokes, funny TV shows, and hobbies might help.
Kindness to friends is wonderful, but
Loving them is not as important as loving yourself.
Many do not give themselves this important gift.
Naturally you want the best for others and your family
Outrageous as this might sound, you must
Positively become your OWN best friend first.
Quiet yourself and give yourself this all-important gift.
Rusty as you might be, find your strengths.
See yourself in the best light. Encourage yourself.
Treat yourself with the same empathy you
Utilize with others, a good friend, or a cherished neighbor
Vigorously appreciate your talents and gifts.
Wisest of the wise recognize the
‘Xceptional logic of doing this and often.
You will immediately reap the awards.
Zesty excited attitudes encourage others, please encourage you!

“It’s not what they say when you are there, it’s what they whisper after you leave.” ~~ Actor - Errol Flynn ~~

Whispers as you hurriedly pass them by.
Whispers that can really make you cry.

Those whispers filled my head with doubt.
I didn’t realize what being poor was all about.

Whispers about the clothes that I wore.
Whispers as if it was a crime to be poor.

Rumors were rife in the school yard.
Those whispers really did make life hard.

Invited to parties, I didn’t want to go.
All snickering. Did they think I didn’t know?

I know bringing a gift of a potted plant wasn’t right.
Their whispers didn’t even wait till I was out of sight.

Whispers continued when I was a teen.
The rumors got worse the whispers were mean.

Slowly but surely, I overcame their sneers.
Learning to be proud of who I am over the years.

I met a man who loved me for who I am, I knew.
And how good it felt when he whispered, I love you.

Over the mountains
Sun shines in all its splendor
Beautiful trees stand out tall
Birds assemble there
Eagles soar right to the top
Wild flowers covers the ground

Blue mountains stand grand
Deers and bears roam all around
Eyes can't get enough nice scene
All trees seem to glow
You can feel God's loving touch
Breathe in enjoy all the view.

Summer sun or winter freeze pulls heartstrings in trapeze. . .
Cotton soft to gnarled callus vows have thread along my way
embroidering ribbon actions to pliant swings of reactions
like a darting fish thrilled to catch a passer-by knees.
Two pairs of eye sew webs to bridge affection display,

pines teeming green crown my arrested heart--
tachycardic I am... each time I hear your sound.
Has breath of love tickled my nerves to interaction?
Like a bee I'm drawn to your sweet ambiance 'round
hoping by miracle it will birth me a fresh start.

Scents that streams from bulbs swirl on wafting wind--
Ah! They all fell to shame for your breath of love tames.
Once a rebel soul that long been thriving for satisfaction
with breath of love that resuscitates, I mend my flame
channeling muse to stroke the peak density of mind.

Slender February breeze taunt my fingers
to type rhymes that shy edge of reason.
Eternally plunge in surrender
I-- filled with breath of love ships my horizons
to script stories in shades that lingers. . .

Faith shows allegiance. It's the firm belief in things unseen.
It's the trust the blind have when told the leaves are green.
A scientist has faith in principles, in things established as true.
He uses it as the basis to experiment, seeking something new.
A farmer has faith when he sows seed, then waits in expectation
of harvesting a bumper crop, but it takes work and dedication.

We can't see Winter wind, but believe it brings blizzard snows
and we know the wind exists because we shiver when it blows.
We haven't seen the face of God but have faith that He is real.
Without faith in our Father, we'd not have hope as a shield.

There are trials that put the strength of our faith to the test.
Scripture explains the importance of it in our lives the best,
"Everyone putting faith in me may not remain in the darkness."*
They are the words of Jesus, at a time when people were heartless.
If we exercise faith in God's word, honor Him with deserved glory,
and believe Bible prophecy is true, we will never have to worry.

My heart was touched when upon His promise my sad eyes fell,
"Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well."**

*John 12:46
**Matthew 9:22

(MOTHER)

For you I sing on this day
For you have shown me love, each and every way
I am yours and you are mine
I respect your love until the end of time
With a mother like you, my life will always shine

Finding sun when there is rain
You are there to guide me in my pain
Lifting my heart when I am sad
Holding me when I am crying too
You are there when things get bad
Always doing what is true
When I say things to hurt you, or get you mad
I am sorry to have disappointed you
like the times i got upset and started to fight
How about the times I tell you that your wrong
Never giving up on me, always showing me love
Always waking up to a good morning kiss,
Than you always bless my goodnight kiss,
In those moments my life is where it belongs
For those reason to me you will always be right

Mother, I love everything you do

Like when you cook for me
You also showed me how to tie my shoe
All those times I made you yell, or did not do things your way
You always found ways to make things well
Always having the perfect thing to say

With a mother like you, I ask my self everyday
Are we a gift to you, from heaven above
Or, are you a gift to us, with lots and lots of love

Mother, I do not want to see you mad or sad
You deserve to be treated special, from the day of birth
You deserve one more extra day besides your birthday
Mother, you always know what to say
Mother, you deserve every thing your way
Mother, for you I will always pray
Mother to you I give all my heart
Mother not even your death tore us apart
Mother you are still in my soul no matter if we are apart

Mother I will never change you for another
This poem is just for you mother
Mother for you I praise your special day

HAPPY HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

(TO MY MOTHER WHO IS STILL WATCHING OVER ME)
                 ( I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 17 )

Everything Doesn T Happen As We Want It

The eyes weep and the heart grieves
But not everything happen according to our needs
we complain to God that it s He who don t let us suceed
But we should focus more on our deeds,
As we are only in this world to make Him pleased

What you expect life to be? A wish granting machine?
No it s the place of test, where we make our destiny
Where we chose between heaven and hell
Control your desire, save yourself from satan, the liar
Don t fall in satan s trap, neither let yourself be decieved
Focus more on your deeds as we are in this world to make Him pleased

That day only known to God, the trumpet shall be blown
People will say that what s the problem but it shall be God s order
No soul that day shall survive, no soul. No life
That day we shall realize that heaven and hell are different sights
And the results will already be in our hands by our side

That day God shall say, if you would have believed
Believed in me, heaven is what you would have receive
There s still time, focus more on your deeds
As we are only in this world to make Him pleased
