Premium Member When a Hero Stumbles

Out of the ether once came a small child
who hoped to one day fly thru the air.
Diligently applying herself, learning a style,
performing higher leaps, tapping the rare.

She performed somersaults, all in her stride,
with greater and more intelligent ease.
Winning honors and gold medals worldwide,
winning hearts with technical expertise

She became the world's new daring upstart
"sensational, uncanny, never fails,"
They didn't care that she led with her heart
and began to believe all of the tales.

As heroes may do, she took a misstep
and stumbled as the world was looking on.
the fault came not because she was inept,
the world on her shoulders became too strong.

A lesson to be learned: tho brave they are
some athletes just barely more than a child.
We expect all heroes to be bright stars
so we can foster their dreams for a while.

We forget they're human, just as we are
with mightier longings and goals, perhaps.
We must forgive occasional dimmed stars,
help them stand if they sometimes collapse.

When You Stumble

When you fall, fall into the arms of Jesus.

When you rise, rise on the wings of a bird,
                                                give him the glory.
When you think of love, feel love in your heart,
                                               give thanks to the source.
When you find yourself amidst hatred and selfishness,
be the light other souls long for.
When you feel afraid, alone, less than who you want to be,
pray to him, who knows your worth,
seek his counsel on the wings of eagles.
When life becomes a burden and you are weary in body and soul,
find peace, comfort and rest in the shelter of
his mightiness then soar high above this world.
When you feel guilt, shame, and carry the weight of an unforgivable past,
repent and feel the joy of his forgiving grace, then,
                                                                                                                     forgive yourself.
When you stumble, reach for his hand, let your loving Father help and guide you.
Share his love with others and love will come back to you.

Premium Member Men Stumble

Born from a line of kings,
to be the Messiah or the antichrist,
or something equally as great.

I have fallen from the path that was laid before me,
but I will not, I cannot,
fail my fate.

My eyes have been forced wide open,
so my realities I must face.

And for all of those who are hoping,
that I’ll take my rightful place.

I have failed you for now,
yes, I have let you down,
but I am still alive.

So please hold on and forgive my wrongs,
and I will lead us toward the skies.

I will give my everything,
that I have to give,
because I know you are worth this love.

Then we can dance,
in the Golden halls,
and sing of what once was.

Premium Member The Road To Heaven

The road to heaven
It seems so long,
Its short, so short
Where time belong

It's curves, it's hills
And it's potholes, too,
Beat and bruise
As I stumble through

Tramplin' the dirt
And nearly dyin',
Finding my feet
And still I'm tryin'

Cryin' out for help
'Til I am hoarse,
Beaten paths do open
But, I stay the course

Just take it slow
Come rain, come shine,
The road to heaven
The way is mine.

I May Stumble

As I walk, through the valley, again today...
I want to thank, my Dear Savior, for the Hope
He sends my way.

I am a part of His plan, that He has promised,
to us all, Yes, I may stumble, but He won't let me fall.

My path has seen, many a heartache, and so much pain,
but the one thing I must remember, this was the reason,
my Savior came.

As I walk, through the valley, again today,
I want to thank my Dear Savior, for the Hope He
sends my way.

His Fatherr sent Him, to a place, so full of sin,
where they nailed Him to a Cross,
so our Salvation, could begin.

I am a part of His plan, that He has promised to us all,
Yes, I may stumble, but He won't let me fall.

As I walk through the valley, again today,
I want to thank my Dear Savior, for the Hope,
He sends my way.

Yes, I want to thank, my Dear Savior,
for the Hope He sends my way.

Sometimes I may stumble, but He won't let me fall.

( New Song)

The Stumble and Rise

I stumbled straight down by surprise,
To laughter and widening eyes-
But I jumped to my feet,
Made the misstep a beat
and waltzed as the crowd cheered my rise.

Stumble Silly Feet

Stumble silly feet
Never learned to walk right
Fall easily even from a pebble
Eyes bugging out
Larger than the mind
Oh poor silly feet
When can you be
Learning to be right
Too many stumbles
Not enough strengths
Feet on the ground
Eyes on the puddle
Walk around it and pass
   without stumbling
When it's too big to cross over
Look for a way around
Don't be stupid to jump
An easy way for a broken foot
Stumble silly feet
Know when to walk right
Easy comes easy goes
A broken foot won't do
Just another life lesson learned
You stumble silly feet... Smile!

Stumble

...inspired by 'The Outing' by Dylan Thomas

His waistcoat full to bursting
he harrumphed through the public house
like Hell itself was after him
and tripped, and missed his stool.
"Pull me a pint!" he cried,
"and never mind the bill, we'll settle up!"
A face pricked like a strawberry,
and just as red, spit spraying
as he bellowed he was jovial, inebriated,
in his cups before the opening bell
and known to one and all as Stumble.
The Snug was crammed, like-minded men
determined for a belly full.
At closing time they locked the doors
and started on the bottles.
They posted Ernie Jenkins as a
lookout for the constable,
lead tenor in the male voice choir.
Dispensing with his duties
he joined in with all the rest,
pickled voices still in tune,
until the pub was dry, the notes exhausted.
Stumble bade goodnight to all the rest
and staggered through the dim-lit streets,
his true and constant friend the flying moon.

Would My Life Cause You To Sin and Stumble

Would My Life Cause You to Stumble?

If you were to follow me
24 hours a day,
would my lifestyle cause
you to wander and stray?
Would my way of living be
a stumbling block to you?
Would my commitment to Jesus
be loyal and true?
I hope that a Christ-like example
you would find,
Giving Jesus not a little…
but all of my time!
I pray that in
my way of living,
you’d find a heart filled with joy,
love and giving!
May Jesus be my ultimate
thrill and treasure!
As he conforms me to his
own will and pleasure.
May a Christ-like life
in me be a certainty.
Not just today!
But for eternity!

Stumble and Fall

Stumble and fall,
Pick up, start over.
Life's a continuous treadmill,
Beginning to end.

The race is on,
Who is in front?
If he stumbles and falls,
Will he begin again?

Life has started.
Stumble and fall,
No bones broken,
After all.

The terrain gets steeper,
The speed increases.
Are you gaining or losing,
This race in life?

Fall to the wayside,
Stumble and fall.
Life's dangerous path,
Belongs to us all.

If We Stumble Or Fall

Ask the hands of fate
Sweet blue rain you wash away
If we stumble or fall

I Stumble

I Stumble

In the nights, when there's no lights
I woke with these thoughts
And lit the candles!

The illuminated darkness, reminds of you
I seek for light from the candle
At the corner of my room, to the rays
I stare keen and I stumble

Along the road, when I walk
I see my left, that you could be there
But the falling leaves from the trees
Reminds of you and I stumble

Watching the TV, after I reach
From office to home, I look for you
I could put my head on your lap
To Take your warmth and kisses few
While filled with these thoughts
I stare keen and then I stumble!

~Ashok Kumar Mishra

Stumble

Father I have done so many things that displeases you.
I have said things that made me appear so brand new
But my heart still remains humble though my mind is out of range.
Am I too far gone, or is there still hope for a change?

The seasons come and go thats the same with people.
Blessings come and go but its not the same with evil
Can you hear my cry? let it not go in vain
And if you see my heart then let it direct my brain.

Let me be lead by your cause and not because of greed.
My wait seems endless, while the weight is more than I need.
Now pain has no life while I gaze through my pane.
Do I appear different, or am I the same?
Is my heart still humble, or is it reacting strange?
See me for who I am and not what I've become.
Help me to see people and not what they have done.

My actions may stumble while my heart remains humble
So if I am out of range then I only need you in my life to stop acting strange.
