My love, the world is ours,
its reflective sapphire oceans,
its turquoise pine tree forests,
its topaz colored days,
its moonstone lit evenings.
My love, I'm certain it's us.
The amethyst citrine painted sunset
called our names right from its onset.
You are my never ending wide open sky
with a red orange coral moon up high.
So radiant is your glow, a sparkle in flight
how you shine - a spectrum of colors like light
through a crystal clear white garnet.
Your hair like flowing strands of pearls, crests
lightly to sit brightly on your opal shaded breasts
with their dark red inviting rubies set.
Your emerald green stare gentle with its powers
like diamond brilliant rays during sun showers.
Your divine allure
so true and pure
oft blinds me
and when I see
I see only you
like the jade dew
covers the morning lawn
on a sardonyx dawn.
You are the gem drives my joyous life,
the precious stone keeps my dreams alive.
You are indeed a jewel rare,
"who" I ask "could compare?"

"what is this strange place, we find ourselves in
trapped in the open, we are free within"
in the darkest realm of desperation,
we find love and some hope for elation,
in swirling crowds, solace of solitude,
amongst stony hearts, pearl of gratitude,
in eddy currents of tears, hint of smile,
in scorching heat, shade to rest for a while,
a crack of lightning in gloom of clouds,
in violence of storms, beacons on grounds,
in chaos, anarchy, voice of reason,
a rose in full bloom, outside its season,
so ride on, ride on, ride on till sunset,
captain your life, ride on with no regrets,
sail with your dreams, with strong courage to win,
trapped in the open, we are free within!
I saw her in the sky this morn
ghostly pale and forlorn
She couldn't even wink at me
display her craters or her seas
I turned away, then hurried off
my over-sensitivity to quaff
When a spark inside me brightly flared
~ The moon's still mine to view up there
come here my dear
sky is so clear
lets stay right here
keep our hearts near
i'll hold your hand
so strong we'll stand
i'll hold you tight
guard like a knight
gone is the rain
so has the pain
look at those eyes
there's no more cries
moon wipes your tears
clouds take your fears
look how stars charm
keep you from harm
my love lets dance
soul's in a trance
found love at last
my heart beats fast
soul feels a spark
lights up the dark
as our lips kiss
feels like pure bliss
when the morn comes
sun plays his drums
hear the birds sing
what joy they bring
at peace we lay
such a grand day
my mind feels tame
found my twin flame
Silent One
Simple Musing

An experiment poem with four words on each line, all which are one syllable.
electricity
hand brushes against bare arm
do you remember
my nightly muse
can't refuse sleep
I lose what's real
struggling to deal
how I feel. Things
concealed become
bright as the sun,
though it's fun, what's
undone ... is me

Subtle feelings burst
Inside her supple breast
Creating overpowering longing
A thirst that had her wanting
Something only he could give her
Silence fell between them
When they found themselves alone
As his hand brushed hers gently
Struggling with a need to grasp it
She yearned for his touch against her
Soft hopes beckoned breathlessly
Intimacy captured on her thoughts
Leaving her with a craving only he could cure
With those twinkling eyes and smiling heart
Who taught her that his was worthy of her desire
Sensitive gestures of delight
Colored her in hues of insight
Whispering joy through her soul
When he found that her heart was an open door
Hungering for his tender embrace and warm touch
Soothing sighs linger on the air
Aching for the intimacy that is a fire
Blazing through her thoughts – a need
Reawakened by the most tender French kiss
Imploring her senses to fall praises across his lips
Stunned by the splendor of such a sensation
Anna and the French kiss brought alive inside her
Stirrings that linger, thrill and ignite
Affection so real it feels like it is thriving
Dancing in shadows, bringing love into the light

Just when your world collapses
To the point of fall apart
There still resides a tiny spark
Deep within your hungry heart
The tiniest of slivers
A slight glimmer of hope
A righteous nod from the voice of God
Letting you know you're not alone
Yet A Spark In This Lost Soul Still Ignites
Cast into barren deserts of sorrow
no real joy and no hope for tomorrow
In burning darkness and hot blasting sand
endless sad tunes from destiny's band.
Nights are so cold and without future plans
sorrow's furnace blows its misery fans
Death, your deep, clawed grasp has taken this soul
I, walking shadow, now with no life goal.
Every new dawn, hot sun bakes and defeats
this tired old beating heart with thirst it treats
Hours pass as years, I find no real relief
from deepest caverns of this epic grief.
Yet a spark in this lost soul still ignites
faith in my mind, I shall win future fights.

Once upon a time....
When the darkness came to greet me at my door
I would simply answer "She doesn't live here anymore"
And when the darkness prowled around my house to spy
Why, I would simply walk right up and spit into it's eye
Should the darkness have followed me from store to restaurant
I'd have engaged it in conversation and asked it want it wants
If that pesky darkness had sneaked up while I was eating chocolate
Well, then it had to run, before I kicked it in the nuts
But now in present day....
Should the darkness come and descend at times like these
I am sorely tempted to embrace it, beg on my knees
Don't wait until I sleep and dream to steal me away
I am at times willing even in the bright of day
Send out your tendrils, envelop me as a blanket would
and I will snuggle deeper still, If only I could
But yet a spark of Once upon a time, stubbornly remains
Just enough, on days like these, to keep me this side of sane
It’s not the storms that bring me down,
But sudden noise or violent sound.
A cupboard slams, the coffee spills,
And I’m back among the distant hills.
A car backfires, an angry tone,
And I’m no longer here alone.
The past comes rushing, sharp and fast,
The present’s gone, the moment’s passed.
A shadow moves, my heartbeat climbs,
I’m trapped inside those other times.
So small the spark, yet fierce the flame,
It calls me back and speaks my name.
Spark to life little pen of mine,
its been a few months since my words wrote shine.
Flame to life inspiration in my hand,
don't let your hush quell your plan.
Blazing language fuel my mind,
basking in the glow of words I find!
Maturity requires perfection of the words I compose,
the end result is a poem, I suppose!
Triumph is the warming heat from spark of my pen,
sparking back to life new words once again.
Look innocent child...
he is the most tender plant,
a being of light!
A single spark lights up the darkest night,
and lifts our timid hearts to fearless flight.
It hums where doubts lie,
a little flame that we can call our own.
One spark can turn the shadows into light.
Trimmed branches of remnant thought
Clutter the aisles of awakening
Gather passing particles of doubt
Struggle like a constrained tumbleweed.
A spark of truth, an errant idea,
Could ignite the entire maelstrom
Inflame a life’s mis-spent passion
Release the firestorm of hope.
Soft eyes a-flutter seize the flame
bathe in the searing purity
of vision without fear
of action without shame.
