A Spark Inside Me Flared

I saw her in the sky this morn
  ghostly pale and forlorn
She couldn't even wink at me
display her craters or her seas

I turned away, then hurried off
  my over-sensitivity to quaff
When a spark inside me brightly flared
~ The moon's still mine to view up there

In losing you still have something to have and to hold. Stay safe.

Thank GOD we still have the normalcy of the stars, the sun and the moon. Everyone else is fighting over toilet paper.

It is rather funny when you think about it -- fighting over toilet paper. We ARE an advance species, eh?! Smiles, Gershon

Yes indeed, it sure is. If you're stuck at home like many, get that telescope and revel I the beauty of the heavens, day or night, then write about it.

Your wording is beautiful, gw, especially 'her craters or her seas' - sunrise and moon, both so moving!
