Best Soft Poems
Distant prayers echo through a lilac sky
light flickers brilliantly in angelic eyes
a yellow crocheted blanket falls to the floor
and a growing heart winks inside.
Kindness breeds kindness in a precious heart
and a kindred spirit lifts and flies free.
helping our fellow man in need
forgiving selfishness and greed
Open up your heart and mind
another child feeds a hungry soul
for one who loves to love, the greatest
blessing of all, is seeing the one you love, love
Whisper soft into the night my dire want
let the rains wash down a growing grace
carry off grandeur into a sequel led estate
as a simple smile adorns a very humble face
Along the feathered edge, a red sun-sets
To bind the evening in dreams eyes explore
Two hearts will greet, till' paradise begets
Love leaves impressions as waves swirl to shore
These caps of white will churn warmly the sand
The world will pass, the change of light is missed
Lonely eyes search for their yearning dreamland
When lips taste fire in a hungry kiss
As night arrives to shelter silhouettes
Soft is the sea to these two souls afar
In a twilight's pulse when the tide resets
And hands hold tight to await the Daystar
The fate of these lovers sealed in evermore
Tomorrow's memory from the seashore

The powder of white sand holds her flesh
close to his musk pelvis
as she gasps with the murmured waves
trembling on the coast
of a fragrant mouth against a manly tongue,
and they lay on hidden grass
in an old Ipanema cove
where rippling strokes fondle
the east and north of her sylph-like
curves: amidst the liquid Brazilian dusk,
her flowing hair sinks from the lapping
of crest in rhythmic grinds;
tanned fingers exploring
a soft canal of a nymph's heightened pleasure…
by the sea- bend, he pulls her creamy thighs
like a driftwood sailing
afloat upon each quivered abandon
while they melt under balmy trees…
without the need to speak.

Soft wind, warm and weightless
That brushes my cheeks in cool of day
And on warm moonlit nights of summer
Let me lay upon your expansive wings
Let me breathe deeply of your spirit
Carry me o’er God’s beautiful earth
Carry me across the turquoise seas
Where silence lies supreme as dolphins play
Listen as their bodies slice the oceans deep
As the sun seems to linger enjoying the view
Let me down for a while to walk bare feet upon warm sands
Let me frolic with gentle white crested waves, then
Carry me far beyond blue heaven’s dome
Carry me to my Fathers’ home

Beneath this soft...dark silent sky
Beneath this soft…dark silent sky
as starlight teardrops weep
in moon glow feathered sonnets…
my heart waits
~
Clinging to every hope,
laced of tiny woven dreams
now filtered through weary eyes
and worried sighs
~
Collecting each moment shared
within my weathered hands…mixed
with essence of rose petal and
meadowlark song
~
Woven together in melodic patterns,
colorful arcs on golden horizons
bidding me a good evening while
riding in on the sweetest of mystic zephyrs…
~
as another tear paints my cheek
in transparent worry
and desperate longing for that day
when your happiness reappears
~
For here sits my whispered wishes,
behind tufted clouds of life,
touching me with poetic joy,
allowing me to exhale freely

Beneath this soft…dark silent sky
as starlight teardrops weep
in moon glow feathered sonnets…
where my heart waits…for your smile
Good Night Soupers
We Found Paradise, Its Valleys Wide And Soft Green
When your heart sang to this downtrodden and lost man
singing birds stopped singing to hear that melody;
I was broken, walking through life without a plan
if sorrows were a joke, I was their parody.
Your kiss, healed aching pains, misery's deepest pits
before, living was raging hell, a sad lost cause,
blows falling, longer they came, harder their swift hits
life had been torment, day and night without a pause.
My darling, your gentle touch cast darkness away
dawn's sweet songs began to enter this renewed heart
each singing note, romantic blessing sent my way
we had love and life, beauty at each magic start.
Each moment a dance, a waltz that was heaven sent
I joyous prisoner of my Amazon queen;
all my mistakes, this soul did so gladly repent
we found paradise, its valleys wide and soft green.
No bars needed, love cast its beloved spell
each night this appreciative heart sang anew,
you are the rarest pearl, I your protective shell
with you by my side, gifting bliss long overdue.
In dreams, we see our future, its wondrous treasures
dance floors of solid gold, you the belle of the ball
my fantasy queen giving love's joyous pleasures
of my life before you, I now have no recall.

Inspired by all three wonderful songs...
The perfection of your lips, they leave me not..
I have traced them a thousand times..
With closed eyes, my empty hands have caressed the curves of your silken shore..
I have lost self within the dark pools of your haunting eyes..
Want fills the vessel of I..
Your scent, that sweet fragrance of desire, filling my mind in fever..
On tongue tip simmers your nectar, fulfilling..
Two breaths as one, our bodies the same..
Wetness and warmth, swallowing stone...
I have drowned within you..
Your soft petals covering..
Drawing forth the rising of man..
Wrapped in your hunger..
I am afloat, in the soft veil of the night....TAH
The soft rain is falling
Kissing the fog, drifting by
Distant thunder is calling
The soft rain is falling
The gray clouds are crawling
All around in the sky
The soft rain is falling
Kissing the fog, drifting by

More interesting the way you wrestle
never meaning hurt..
flirting.., with a skillfull mind
and matching tongue.
Twice as agile your swift feet, gleeful toes,
play like little lady fingers, jabbing,
bobbing and weaving in the morning sun.
What a change I witness when the gloves come off
colors raised in stormy impassioned eyes.
So many dimensions,
when you go hard..
even more uncovered..
when you go soft.
Light coral shaded lips,
paler still long neck, brimming in fire.
how the veins sing to me..
though quietly now,
grow insistent.
Getting close, like a creature
not used to light.
A waterfall effect lost
in finest peach hair fields, many
curves and valleys explored
in mosquito nets of night.
Endlessly curious to know,
what a fighter wants..
what a fighter needs,
in love.
Return now from the ropes to knock me off.
My eyes anxiously await a detente
when yours turn soft.
I siphon the twilight ether
like sweet smoke from apple wood
I draw its magic IN, (as the kiss of a hookah)
fill my being with the dewy air -
let my blood saturate - course
I breathe ...
the essence of soft shadows …
I feel your press, still
you abandoned this realm in tragedy
but haunt my footprints with a weighty tread -
your substance, my constant counsel
tenderly binding me, hushed
I yearn ...
the essence of soft shadows …
I drown in light, ambient
suffused with the pulses of life and mortality
worn like skin, love ever trembles -
emerging from its constraints and errors
to shed brutal but boundless purpose
I adorn ...
the essence of soft shadows …
I embrace the heavens
absorbing the aphotic expanse with my being
earthbound, I am a diaphanous reflection of luster
the misty, echoing likeness of the cosmos
born of stardust, breathy and elemental -
I become ...
the essence of soft shadows ...
the essence ...
... of YOU.

You are a jeweled gift sparkling diamond rock temple
One of thousand in the world touched petal by petal
Skies above true blue wrapped cotton white emotions
Arches over our earthly plains east to west one circle
Inside silk ribbon feelings tie the knot perfectly
With wings of a swan bound unto you eternally
In you who crowns the heart with passions ignite magic
When the sky was falling into the promised land chants
Carnation of a flower deeply stirring dewdrops rose
In light of the rainbow mountains shone glitter dust
Loving you morning and night never goes out of fashion
Amor helped to ignite flames that burn purely with love

When Sweet And Soft Morn No Longer Calls Out,
Dedicated to my dear friend, Connie Marcum Wong
When heart is broken, ocean is drained
All becomes sad-blue, all life is stained
Dawn brings epic sorrows, no real relief
Ripped and torn, shattered some beliefs
Midnight moon casts down that terrible blue
Everything sad even shining new.
When heart is broken, ocean is drained
All becomes sad-blue, all life is stained
When sweet and soft morn no longer calls out
And life cries for hope, with dark mourning shout
Hours flow forth like whimpering aches of day
All the green blades of grass seem morbid gray
Hurt promises to let other shoe drop
And mind wonders shall this agony stop.

Sonnet
Born from a poet's heart that has seen too much sorrow and loss.
Dedicated to those lost. And to my dear friend Connie Marcum.
I truly think she would have loved this one.
As she saw the merits in sad, dark and truth in life should be represented in poetry.

in
the same
skillful way satin
serenades smooth silky skin . .
the soft touch of spring
is stimulating and seducing my senses
- the scene is serene, simple and satisfying -
in
the same
sweet symbolic way,
i’m longing to
savor the soft
touch of
you
--------
- because the ache is strong -
the welcome of spring and sweet love
As the sun plants a soft kiss, good bye
And leaves its imprint upon an evening sky
Rich reds, soft pink and violet hues
At times observed by oh, so few
He marks the path for sister moon
For he knows that she will follow soon
Countless stars accompanying her, shine ever bright!
Across galaxies afar this coming night
All creatures alive must stop their toil
Seek rest, refresh and humbly extol
What child-like wonder and surprise, this brings
As captured is the perfect song that nature sings!

"The softness of the summer day like an ermine paw."- Anais Nin
Soft is a tissue or a cotton ball.
Soft was my old teddy bear I recall.
Soft are some foods like oatmeal and rice.
But soft crème brûlée could be twice as nice.
Soft is the butter spread on soft bread,
and soft is the pillow where I lay my head.
Soft are those fabrics so nice on my skin
like the blue velvet gown I like to dress in.
Soft is chinchilla, chenille, and mink.
Soft are the wool clothes I hope not to shrink.
Soft is my favorite pair of silk panties
and soft are those pink and blue cotton candies.
Soft are the lotions smoothed onto my face
and blankets which on winter nights I embrace.
Soft on my tongue are flakes of new snow,
and soft are spring's breezes that most gently blow.
Soft are the petals of flowers so pretty.
Soft is the fur of my precious small kitty.
Soft is a baby's cute pudgy cheeks,
and soft are the words that a kind person speaks.
Soft are the feathers of a white dove.
Soft is the smile of the one that I love.
Soft is his hair and his dark eyes so sweet
and soft are his kisses whenever we meet.
