Beneath This Soft Dark Silent Sky

Beneath this soft...dark silent sky Beneath this soft…dark silent sky as starlight teardrops weep in moon glow feathered sonnets… my heart waits ~ Clinging to every hope, laced of tiny woven dreams now filtered through weary eyes and worried sighs ~ Collecting each moment shared within my weathered hands…mixed with essence of rose petal and meadowlark song ~ Woven together in melodic patterns, colorful arcs on golden horizons bidding me a good evening while riding in on the sweetest of mystic zephyrs… ~ as another tear paints my cheek in transparent worry and desperate longing for that day when your happiness reappears ~ For here sits my whispered wishes, behind tufted clouds of life, touching me with poetic joy, allowing me to exhale freely ~ Beneath this soft…dark silent sky as starlight teardrops weep in moon glow feathered sonnets… where my heart waits…for your smile Good Night Soupers

My friend, this exquisite free verse gives me something new to shoot for in my endeavors to improve my own free verse writings.. I can not recall my ever writing free-verse sonnet, but this beauty leads to try perhaps. Blown away by this fantastic free verse composition!! A fav and a super 10 from me..

I have the same problem, my mind works in rhymes, ingrained deeply and with pleasure being derived when such is accomplished well. I do sometimes write in free verse , when once long ago, I was adverse to doing so. Now I see the depth, beauty and magnitude of artistic expression in that poetry form. As amply illustrated by your superb poem!

Robert, your comment is extremely encouraging and truly appreciated. I am so thrilled you enjoyed this one. I had the hardest time moving into free verse poetry, everything I wrote wanted to rhyme. But once I really put my mind to it I found it was a very fun and rewarding form to write in.

How many girls x how many scenarios equals number of times you may actually voice your extraordinarily romantic lines, divided by how many missings and longings, that gives us ... I'm not good at advanced math, but it may need to be figured out. Your romantic lines need to given life and purpose through the universe. No, we can't put universe in the equation, so it all equals = You blew me away ... CayCay movies? broadway?

I was doing ok until you through in the universe, that just messed up all of my math. :) CayCay, if I haven't said it before, I will now. I appreciate you my friend. Your kindness is always a beautiful sunny day to me. Thank you so very much.

It definitely rate of seven and as I've commented to Heidi on several occasions it gets double smiles. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful write God bless and have a wonderful evening.
