Best Situation Poems
Sometimes you have to make the best,
Of the bad luck thrown your way;
Get on with your life, to heck with the rest,
And just enjoy your day;
I was having me a terrible day,
Everyone grumbling at work;
No one had anything nice to say,
And my boss was being quite a jerk;
I went to my office and told myself,
I wouldn’t let it get to me;
I grabbed a book off the shelf,
And went to work, plain as can be;
I smiled at everyone that was around,
And went out of my way to be nice;
It was strange for me to be so profound,
Giving everyone advise;
I figured that was the best way,
For me to get back at them;
By wishing them a happy day,
And not being hasty to condemn;
I have never been more happy,
I’ve sure got it made;
Cause you know when life gave me
Lemons, I made the office lemonade!

I hate this life with a growing passion.
Its my fault. I made it this way.
Ive lost my compassion.
But like that hardly matters now, with my face against the ground and a knife sticking out my back.
Your betrayal.
A quick slap to my already cut face.
I feel so sorry that I hurt you. I told you that already.
But you ignored me and decided to lash at my turned body.
Inside out you broke and cut me.
I still feel bad... and wish to apologize but im afraid to Im to frightened of the fact you can hurt me with any of your words.
You could kill me if you wanted.
You are not your situation
I don't care what others say
They are not the
Heavenly Father anyway
You are not your situation
No matter the complication
No matter what others say
They are not there for you
Everyday
So hold your heads my children
Life's problems never last
In the end you're gonna look back
And say, "Thank you Lord for
Helping me in the past."
In front of the dangerous animal
I don't run but I don't stay close
nor do I show myself...
Two men have my attention
Hazel hearts rise like orange sunshine
Even my favorite songs mention
Situation where true love resides
Images of me with the first king
The one who’s been waiting 4 years
Unfortunately another kente king
Appreciates me but is not near
Turquoise time will denim design
Intimate test of hearts and minds
Olympics of lavender lovers
Needing one more than the other
I've had many sad things happen to me
They all affected me to that certain degree
Things about life that you will see
Left me scared but not unhappy
Sometimes things we do to ourselves
we're late we're wrong we're something else
Sometimes things due to others
lied to, cheated, gossip they muttered
Sometimes the things that life just does
Death , misfortune, failing health
And sometimes things come from God
and sometime this is very odd
The things we learn while we walk the path
The things we see that make us laugh
The things we feel and painfully learn
While this life carries us to what we've earned
I've lose loves the many ways they go
As you travel through life you never know
Divorce was the cruelest, suicide, yes I had that too
But your never abandoned by someone who loves you
In this old age you can be abandoned by your health
As many times as everyone else, abandoned by my wealth
I've learned it gets easier with time
The pain is gone when there is no surprise
I say all this to let you know that life is a circle
Of not one but many shows
Some are tragic, and some dramatic but in the end we know
It's not just life but our very own show
It's a sad situation what happens in life
What happens to others happens to wife
we find ourselves victims of our own cause
Our motive absolution to Gods own laws
We hide from men what we can't from God
Yet innocence is what we seek
While our truth is still a fraud
We testify to this insanity we've caused
Time ran out, winner’s fans took to the field
But a ref pushed them back; forced them to yield
A flag had been thrown
And how fans did grown
A field goal was kicked; victory repealed
This actually happened in one of the football games I saw
last year.
The hoopla of Christmas has come and gone
The checkbook for that spree is overdrawn
Lord, please have mercy on me
I can already foresee
To pay Uncle Sam my dog I must pawn
Outsourcing IRS I can't condone
They linked me up to Sierra Leone
I just could not comprehend
The guy on the other end
It was a nasty discourse on the phone
This year the IRS has bled me dry
May have to mortgage the house to comply
I've searched for more deductions
But find no more reductions
It hurts to laugh and I'm too old to cry

KEEPING ABREAST OF THE SITUATION
A lady's out doing her shopping
She's braless, both boobies are flopping
V necked dress, not the best
Cos out popped her right breast
The nipple display was eye popping!
I observed this today - this buxom lass bent forward to get something that she had dropped and I got a real eyeful – she wasn’t fazed just whopped it back in and got on with her shopping!!!
For Leah - thanks for encouraging me to write this story BBxx

Eternal values
of yesteryear-
cast upon
winds of
change
I am a new yorker
from afar
I grew up in new york
with t.v. stars
All the cop shows
and broadway affairs
Make us new yorkers
even though we're not there
We see the devastation
and offer our prayers
We want you to remember
No matter what God is there
You've always been rude
but now its time to be kind
An opportunity to love
before the end of time
My lateness once more has caused me immediate damnation,
and my unstable state, a product of my lost attention.
Overcoming the limitation by doing three person's work at once
resulted to a failed manipulation
of compressing minutes' activities into seconds
just to beat time and achieve punctuality.
Reaching for the door with already aggravated emotions.
In self caution, I knew something was still missing
then I realized it's a stuff I cannot go without.
Oh My God! This means, beginning all over again.
A complication I most feared in a situation like this.
My dwelling place now seem a mansion
as even my bedroom has undergone exaggeration
which at this moment isn't as accommodating
as the habitation I once knew.
Starring at the plain surface of the mirror Table gave no answers
and already praying for the fruitful termination of this trying time,
as I searched among the cosmetic items it harbours.
My next location is obviously the wardrobe
and even with the intense frustration
I was still calm enough to suppress the friction with myself
as I searched each and every pocket of my clothing
which are all hanging in straight vertical position.
And yet, my state gradually reaching exacerbation,
cos' there is no answer.
In milliseconds, my Pillows are in two corners of the room
I prayed for any sort of temptation but not this
as the bed calmly accepts my aggressive search
of my item which suffers an ungodly abduction.
The Investigation continues with a quick scan through my shoes,
and finally leaving the room with no appreciation
which now looks like a ghetto market of a third world country,
a demotion I usually never allow, not until now.
The larger sitting room just increased my retardation
having hope of finding my "Precious" would be mere hallucination
so therefore, I barely did much other than a mere Inspection.
Yet, cannot find its location,
which simply increased the heap of burning coal on my head.
Already tired of exclaiming several holy Indignation
careful flash back and calculations of my previous movements
yielded no results.
"check the Double Seater" was my last thought.
And as I acted in submission to that command,
the invaluable material surprisingly fell off my shirt
My Car Keys!
Double Bubble
Blowing bubbles, fun on the cheap
Double Bubble
That was what got me in trouble
Gum in mouth, when I went to sleep
In my hair, so cut off a heap
Double Bubble
