Situation Haiku

two things that can kill
religion and racisim
the powers of hell

voices in Egypt
it's a new birth of freedom
Magna Carta style

will they resist change
shall they put freedom in chains
does choice have a name

I think humans are the only ones on the planet who kill their own kind. I can feel the qanger in your poem and rightly so.

I believe these three entries are closer to senryus. Nevertheless, they are all very descriptive.

TS, you have summed up so well the situation occurring now in Egypt. My prayers go out to the people who want to remain free. You first verse is particularly strong. I feel the same way. Thanks for sharing this thought-provoking haiku series. Love, Carolyn
