The Recipe for Poetry

Open stereo
Turn volume medium high
Poor 3 shots of whiskey
Add 2 bottles of wine
Open 1 bag of chips
Add one box of Oreos
Listen to Alice Cooper
Then Abba
Then Dance of the knights
Then listen to all 3 at the same time
Stick pins into the doll of your ex
For added drama add some ketchup
Open up 2 brands of cheese
Because that shows some class that you have 2 types on hand
Do this
Before opening second bottle of wine
This way you’re not an alcoholic
Turn on some Paul McCartney and Uriah Heep
During moments the stereo is on high volume
Sing along
Down to the skivvies it is, if you have a hockey stick
A little air guitar for some added inspiration
Cut up some Edgar Allen Poe poems
To put between the Oreos and cheese
Eat till the feeling of darkness overcomes you
Let your thoughts simmer 5 hours
Voila done

When you wake up
You should have 1 or 2 poems facing you

Risky Behavior Unprotected Sex

HIV has been around for a while,
you have unprotected sex like it’s going out of style.
Eventually you are going to get stuck,
you’ll play Russian Roulette and run out of luck!
To utilize a condom is simple and easy,
She said, “When you use those things you just don’t please me.”
You have multiple partners and never use protection,
You say, “I don’t like condoms they mess with my ********.”
You still believe it’s just a gay and addict disease,
get educated on the facts about HIV please!
A portion of the newly infected happen to be teens,
do you all understand what abstinence means?
This deadly disease affects straight males and females,
by educating the communities we can increase condom sales.
It’s not just the at-risk groups that can be infected,
It can be anyone who is not protected.
You come up with that senseless and ridiculous line,
“They look pretty healthy and they appear to be fine.”
Your partner may not necessarily look infected,
always make sure a trusted condom is selected.
	Get yourself tested regularly,
that is the responsibility of you and me.
	Have your partner tested too,
tell them it’s something they have to do.
Abstinence is the only sure way,
but use a condom if you have to play!
Do yourself and everyone else a favor,
refrain from this type of “risky behavior.”

Our Paddy had a strong liking for whiskey
When under its influence he got a bit frisky
Didn't think he was able
But impregnated Mable
A reminder that his kind of behavior is risky

Risky Business

Within the imagination lives a breath of fresh air.
A city full of people sharing and caring.
A man with a limp walks with his cane telling his community about all good things.
A child laughs in the park as her dog runs to catch a ball.
The wind is high and kites are let loose in the sky.
What a pleasure to see joy in so many eyes.

Within another realm is a normal world where people raise families without
     blemishes or scares.
This is where heterosexuals experience life and hold fast to their wedding vows.
They work for a meaningful existence and strive to do what is right.
This is a world of pitfalls and perils afire.

Within the world and of God are the people of the universe.
Profound in faith and religion, they thrive on Mother Earth.
Knowing that two wrongs do not make right, they praise God and others are
     atheist.
	       This is a universe perilous.

(WE ARE OUR OWN CREATION.)

Premium Member Risky Opportunities

A liberal mind for love
seeks Earth's nurturing nest origins
astoundingly opportune for producing healthy ego-nutritional eggs.

A conservative risk taker,
faced with ego's opportunity
to fly away from mortal risk
to autonomous long-term, or at least short-term, self survival
or fight to WinEgo/LoseEco-Other pyric victory,
thereby sees ego's Win/Win in-between opportunity
to produce future cooperative eco-eggs
of self/other-perpetuating identity,

A narrower, conserving, view
of Earth's universal health opportunities
and a widening interdependent liberal love potential.

We might become both
ego and eco healthier,
more left non-insula nature embodied
and right amygdala co-passionate spirit soaring
to imagine
and support both physical/metaphysical views,
held most lovingly together
as WinWin eco/ego-centering integrity,
symbiotic nonfight/nonflight opportunity
for cooperatively mentored solidarity
in health/wealth mutual service

Risky Love

I never thought i'd b falling, so far so fast
So many questions, I can't help but ask
Do you feel for me, what I feel for you?
Is this just a fling, could it be something true?
Will you cause me pain, and lead me to tears?
Is this worth all the risk, and facing my fears?
Am I perfect in your eyes, no matter what?
Will you love me for me, or someone i'm not?
Will you always be loyal, will you always be true?
Or are my dreams of real love, misleading me too?
Do you mean every word, every action you've done?
Or will I get hurt in the process, of finding out if you're the one?
Should I take the fall, if in the end it could be lies?
When what I thought would last forever, fades away and dies?
Will you keep every promise, or make promises you can't keep?
Is there really someone for me out there, or will I be forever incomplete...

Risky Business

when I look at all the data in regards to our youth and teens
the statistics are frightening and to me it seems
that our children are now more at risk when it comes to sex, guns, drugs and drink
the enemy is aggressively targeting them as they are our weakest link

the risk of surviving is what our children now have to face
the risk of disease, the risk of death, the risk of just being in the wrong place
unfortunately they don't desire to listen to what their parents have to say
they think they're grown and too quick to reply "let me do it my way"
they feel that as parents we don't respect their wishes and desires
they fail to see that we only want them to achieve and aspire

as parents we've gone through what they've yet to experience in life
we lived through the risks we encountered the same struggles and strife
our children can't seem to understand nor comprehend
that we ourselves were children long before them
and the only way that we were able to have matured and grown
was to accept the instructions and advice from parents of our own

the risky business of just living is what we want to eliminate
so that our children don't get caught up in the danger before its to late
it wouldn't hurt to raise your children up in the ways of Jesus the Christ
and then pray that they will never stray from it in life
and as parents to never forget our own rebellious years
when we sent our moms and dads into states of despair

talk to your children with empathy and a godly demeanor
introduce them to Jesus the Christ and hope they become believers
so that those risky businesses that are always lurking around
will never have the opportunity to take our children down

encourage your kids, support your teens, talk to and treat them with respect
don't be too quick to judge nor admonish for then you they will reject
the risky business the dangers in life is what we desire to keep away
in order for us to raise productive and positive adults one day

Premium Member Skiing

Skiing steep sloped slaloms one snowy week,
Knowing my courses from every stark peak.
In whiteouts of bitter blizzards bleak
Which lacked hazards to frighten me to freak.
Nothing was too risky to stop my streak,
Getting ski heroes poled into a creek.

A Risky Revelation

Let you come someday soon! To my lonely cottage in the village outskirt. We sit in evening in the moonlight At the eastern jungle-side window. Ah! As it is november, caress eachother And kiss Under a hairy blanket; Having salad and slices of fried fish, And slow sips of some costly drink.

Premium Member A Risky Business

Love is a risky business,
It demands a level head.
You must choose a partner wisely,
Or you might wish that you were dead.

If you trust your intuition,
It should help you lead the way.
If you go into it blindly,
You can bet you'll rue the day.

But if you meet someone special,
Don't hold back the way you feel.
When your heart is fully open,
Then they'll know your love is real.

Take it from me, for this I know,
Don't turn your heart to stone.
The path will be a bitter end,
And you'll wind up all alone.

Premium Member A Risky Proposition

It was a risky proposition.
yet they held no inhibition.
Then formed a coalition.
obtained the disposition.
And it became a mission.
to make the acquisition
Ancient gold exhibition.
Had the right condition.
with all inside position.
Ran Into opposition.
Hadn't figured on sedition.
Stan the finger in suspicion
put through the iquisition.
Couldn't explain his transition.
One slug the ammunition
He's a ghostly apparition.
In moldy decomposition.
It was a risky proposition.
