A Risky Business

Love is a risky business,
It demands a level head.
You must choose a partner wisely,
Or you might wish that you were dead.

If you trust your intuition,
It should help you lead the way.
If you go into it blindly,
You can bet you'll rue the day.

But if you meet someone special,
Don't hold back the way you feel.
When your heart is fully open,
Then they'll know your love is real.

Take it from me, for this I know,
Don't turn your heart to stone.
The path will be a bitter end,
And you'll wind up all alone.
