Napoleon Bonaparte
1769 Corsica is where he got his start
One of the greatest commanders in history
His manner of death a 200-year-old mystery
Napoleon played it close to the vest
With his armies he was always the best
But 'twas nothing he could do
When he met his Waterloo
Lived his last few years under house arrest
Napoleon drank the water and headed for the loo
He did nothing different than you or I could ever do
Be kind to your skin and protect your bone-a-parts
Remember that's where good hygiene starts!
Do you like to party
Drink Tequila and Bacardi
Shouting lyrics to songs
Guzzling beer from bongs
Do you like to dance
Pelvic thrusting at every chance
Giving girls your card
That says Napoleon Bonaparte
Do you like grassy lands
Holding on with both your hands
Praying for your drunken soul
As the Earth spins out of control
Do you like to drive
Going fifty-three in a thirty-five
Telling cops you can’t be arrested
Because you might be dyslexic
Do you like to call home
Collect on your new cell phone
Begging for a second chance
Because Bubba has no pants
Do you like to party
Drink Tequila and Bacardi
Giving your keys to friends
Because karma has no end
Do you?
King of the animales!
This is the easiest way to describe a lion
It likes to bask in their brilliance
Lions are big cats with a short tawny coat
which is lighter on the underside
White lions occur - but they are not albinos
Lions are outgoing and everybody's favorites
All lions have claws retractable
Mine is decorated with nail polish
Lion's element is fire
Energy - intuition - power
The typical lion is creative - strong-willed
temperamental and dramatic
The weight of a lion is considered normal 160-275 kg
I try to stay under 60 kg
The average age 17-18 years among lionesses
but there are examples where they can be closer to 21 years old
Males are often around 16 years old
Die young and beautiful
The best hunters in a lion pride is the lionesses
Yes, I feel like a hunter every time I go in the store
An adult male lion can eat up to 43 kg of meat in one day
My male lion must get by with much less
... Imagine if my male lion was 275 kg
The male lion is polite and patient externally
but arrogant and vain inside
He is impulsive and good at repairing things
Can you roar like a lion
The lions are among the best roar holders
An adult lion's roar can be heard up to 8 km distance
Dinner .... finished ..... come and eat!!!
We as humans makes sure that the children receive food
But in the world of lions the adults eat before the kids
Stability and stubbornness - scratch and dent in the trees
marks their area - putting the wedding ring on the finger
My fate planet is the sun -
My luck stone is the diamond
I have a great temperament and a huge demand for attention
But I am among many well known and famous LIONS:
Crown Princess Mette-Marit (Norway), Mick Jagger, Napoleon Bonaparte
Fidel Castro, Bill Clinton, Moussolini, Jacquelin Kennedy
Carl Jung, Alfred Hitchcock and Arnold Schwarzenegger

Dividing and conquering people
Come Julius Caesar and Napoleon Bonaparte
The tactic survived today
They created of nations from the states.
Sulu archipelago has been divided
Nationhood superseded statehood
The statehood gone forever
The imagined nation comes to emerge
Made the archipelago comes to worst.
They claim to own a nation
While the name in the basic law is foul
The name comes during colonization
They have their own those times
Cannot they use their own name?

My lifetime dream hasn't been realized yet;
I like to travel to Europe where History was made.
I will start with the glorious city of Rome
with its ancient monuments which still fascinate!
I like to see one of the gems of ancient architecture:
the Colosseum, hear the roars of the gladiators
and the screams of the crowds applauding the winner;
I will stroll down Via Veneto find an uncrowded café,'
and sip a cappuccino in the tepid Roman sun!
My next step is to go to Paris and admire its wonders
by the Senna; I will sit and dream of long ago as Victor
Hugo did at Notre-Dame, the gothic Cathedral of antiquity,
then on to Versailles where Napoleon Bonaparte resided.
London can't be missed on my travel list, this magnificent city
which was built two millennia ago, has its own English charm:
the imposing Tower Bridge overlooking the Thames River;
ah, Liverpool is a must: once home of the enigmatic Beatles!
Madrid is every artist's dream, a beautiful city built on water;
very impressive is the Almudena Cathedral with priceless art works,
it's the dynamic city of bullfighters, watch the matadors do magic;
at night, it's all music and splendor inside the wide Plaza Mayor!

Tonight, I want to say something wonderful
For the left-handed people who can adapt
to a world full of left-sided thinkers. The ones
who can navigate with all the specially opposed tools,
like the ones made standard for the 90%. I prefer
their open-mindedness, abstract, creative, those kinds of thinkers,
The ones who can use a can-opener
backward or flip scissors upside-down just
to cut. The ones who twist their paper or hands gracefully
to write beautiful things. The ones who learn
to use a mouse with their flimsy palm, while
they search on their computer for left-handed poets.
They are the truly special ones who change the world.
That’s why I want to say something astonishing
Like: Sinistrality, a graceful glove that is worn
on the opposing hand, those destined to be struck down
by the back-hand of a culture that doesn’t understand
what it really means to think with a right-sided brain.
Those few special beings have always impacted the world
The greatest minds, the greatest hands, the ones like
Napoleon Bonaparte, who strategically learned
To lead with his dominant hand as a guide to conquer
and rise to be great. Leonardo da ’Vinci who had the creator’s
gift bestowed upon his left hand. To write, paint, and create awe.
Jimi Hendrix, a guitar God, played upside down, but not wrong.
Mozart, Bill Gates, Aristotle, Leo Messi, Babe Ruth
Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Picasso,
Ben Franklin, Darwin, Newton, Einstein, Marie Curie,
Helen Keller, Joan of Arc, Queen Victoria, Oprah,
Honestly, the list could go on and on and on…
But instead, let us praise them for being so inclined
to change the world by diverging their minds.
Ode to Sinistrality, ode-to the right-thinking kind.
Napoleon Bonaparte.
Smaller than a popcorn fart.
Not man enough for Josephine.
You know exactly what I mean.
The Shadow Of The Guillotine
What is a guillotine ? It is a device for cutting large quantities
of paper, in commercial use these machines supply reams of
packaged paper for use in offices around the world, they are
used for many similar uses in many different forms in countries
all around the world, but the guillotine had a far more sinister
use that goes back to the tenth century, it was used as an
execution device used by many forms of government the most
noted during the period of the 1790's in France. The event was
known as the French Revolution, were the people of France
were treated really cruel, and the guillotine was a cruel form
of injustice to anyone who would be caught conspiring against
the then French Government, the commoners in the end rose
up against the tyranny of the government and their evil dictators
were executed by their own creation of death, and shown no
mercy and by the end of the century was under a new ruler,
Napoleon Bonaparte, he was hailed as a hero of the time, but
was eventually exiled on an island named Elba. those times are
now gone but the guillotine still remains with us today though
it is used for far less violent operations, for simply cutting paper
in our offices and homes. Which proves even the most evil things
can be used for good with a little imagination.

Corsica born, and an emperor mighty indeed.
Who from obscurity came up to prominence,
who from French shores the attacks of armies repelled,
who had at his disposal, Europe's resources,
who to Saint Helena from French shores was expelled.
Of old Italian nobility he was seed.
Shortish in height, yet towering in ambition.
Military genius of the highest distinction
whose military strategy is second to none save
Alexander. Whose courage is held in reverence,
whose cradle at infancy was kept in a cave
from strong invading imperialist French forces.
He gave up an empire so vast at Waterloo;
A threat to the memories of his victories past.
Mighty Napoleon, who at Austerlitz excelled,
you did on the beautiful older Josephine cast
your loving eyes, which were hypnotized with passion,
yet focused still on so lofty an ambition.
Not even your love for her would rival your love
for world conquest, for which you assiduously strove.
Love is one of life's greatest mysteries
It is the driving force
which shapes man's destiny
It is the very foundation
upon which life itself is built
Love leads
life follows
Love is a way of life
One cannot detach oneself from Love
to make a decision
for Love is life itself
Throughout the ages
the power of Love
has gripped the hearts of men
- mighty men who feared nothing
and made them powerless
to resist its spell
Kingdoms rose and fell
Armies laid others waste
and were laid waste by others
Men died in agony at the command
of a Love-infected leader
Paris and Helen of Troy
in the Trojan war
Samson and Delilah
in the battle with the Philistines
Anthony and Cleopatra
in the Roman Civil War
Love is a potent force
that sometimes makes fools
of Earth's mighty men of valour
And yet this same Love
has been an instrument of good
with which nothing can compare
There are many kinds of love -
a man for his God
a man for his woman
a friend for his friend
a person for his kin
a man for his dog
- these and many more
Though the particular cases differ
the effect of Love is the same
- that feeling which inspires and drives men
to achieve things
they once believed impossible
Many a knight fought great odds
and won for his lady
Many a man leaves his comfortable niche
in society
and goes out to endure
the hardship and pain
of the less fortunate
as he gives of himself unselfishly
to improve their state
because of his love for
his God, duty and ideals
History is filled with leaders
who tried to build
and maintain an empire
with the might of brute force
and failed -
Charlemagne
Alexander The Great
Julius Caesar
Napoleon Bonaparte
Adolph Hitler
And yet
a humble carpenter of Nazareth
who shunned brute force
and violence
built an empire on Love
two thousand years ago
and today it covers
the face of the earth
Olivia spent four hours a day ignoring her huff,
she stitched her dress by hand since there was no sewing machine;
why did she choose a green color to honor a monarchic regime,
or was it undying hope to sustain her lonely life?
Her sweetheart had gone to invade Russia expecting delusion;
was Napoleon Bonaparte to blame for her sorrow and trepidation?
Would Philippe return to France and marry her in Notre Dame's Cathedral at daybreak?
Would she wear her laced green dress even though he would die in a violent snowdrift?
Olivia stitched and stared at The Arch of Triumph from her wide window,
dreaming of seeing her sweetheart walk beneath it with that soldier's pride,
making all Parisians hail him as their hero as every cathedral's bell would chime...
she would be the happiest belle wearing that green dress in the crowds below.
Only one hundred thousands soldiers returned to France, many died on Russian soil:
tattered, deluded and defeated, they crossed the Seine River without a chant...
Napoleon's imperial plan had failed: heart-wrenching was the death toll;
Olivia's face was drenched in desperate tears...imagine her discontent!
PASSION-IAN MUNYWE
In Alexander the great,
welled ample passion.
To conquer,
the world.
Napoleon Bonaparte too,
son of Corsica.
A great soldier,
with a vision.
Passion to mention rightfully is key,
to all of life`s greatness gates.
Gates of prosperity,
Built from humble beginnings.
The stimulus,
passion.
Passion indeed holds all the weight,
upon which life rests.
It sustains the bridges,
vital for transition.
Bridges of like,
blossom to bridges of love.
That then sprout to matrimony,
yielding mirth in ripe and old age.
Passion without a shadow of a doubt,
has to be the fix.
People so desperately need,
whether young or seasoned.
Passion fuels success,
Passion breeds zeal and zest.
I studied cosmology for 4 years before I realized there was no mention of make-
up or hair styling.
I saw the movir "Superfly", and didn't understand why they never even showed a
zipper!
I wanted Lasix surgery- but, due to being stupid, I wound up with Latex surgery;
now I have "boobs".
I love movies- and had my heros- and I was classified a "copy cat". But I got tired
of the hair balls in my throat.
I'm probably the only one who considered suicide by H-bomb.
I ordered a "Blair" catalogue, expecting a book about witches.
I had a car I nicknamed "Flattery" 'cause it got me nowhere.
Ever notice that some hospitals have a "detox" ward? Does that mean that
somewhere there's a "tox" ward?
I'm a musician-I've been, for years, trying to join a "Rubber Band". Guess that's a
stretch, huh?
My house is so messy, I don't remember the color of my carpet.
I used to be a department store buyer. But I could never afford to buy stores.
I suffered from chronic pain for years. Then I got divorced.
All this talk about "role models"- boy- just go to the bakery!
I have a very high IQ- but in my case it means "Idiot Quota".
Someone once scolded me about my self-depreication. I replied-"It's better than
self defecation!"
Everytime I went to the psych ward I signed in as "Randall P. McMurphy" true!
confused? see "One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest".
Russian? I don't know, they seem to move pretty slow to me.
Napoleon Bonaparte? I don't know, I've had a number of Napoleons from
various bakeries; I never found any bones.
I guess the Nazis must'a needed a lot of underarm deodorant.
Cell phone? I don't know- seems like being in prison is hardly worth it.
If we capture Osama Bin Laden, instead of death, I'd make him watch Billy Mays
commercials 24/7. (Too gruesome to even think of!)
Jock itch is a bit_h. Glad I'm not a "jock".
Wars never end, they just change names.
I once spent a winter in my old home, alone- no heat, no gas, no phone,no
food, sometimes no electricity. Ever have your underwear frozen fast to your
body? True!!
Well, my friends, till we meet again! Here's to Soup!
TIMES PERPETUAL TROUPE
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS
Ever wonder, if you are a member of a troupe
Acting different roles, yet never leave the loop
I often consider it possible, when I have a Deja Vo
Ago, someone else was me, could it have been you ?
Say there’s a thousand actors active in the cast
Filling different roles, now: and surely in the past
Often heard it said, everyone has a twin
One might be the other, the other might be him
I might have been Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte
Maybe Aaron, shooting Alexander in the heart
My neighbor might have been a soldier in WW2
Maybe the doctor that delivered me or you
The possibilities are endless, I’m sure we all agree
When an actor exits the play, his spirit is set free
To perform a new role, adapting, to a new identity
Stories of many sparring with multiple lives
Roles deeply ingrained, they continue to survive
Eerie to not know who you were or are
You might have been a viking, a movie star
Teacher, lawyer or just the local drunk
Passenger on the titanic, gruesomely sunk
See a stranger and think: I know that man
Is it body language, face, or a parallax scan
We sense prior actives not only with our eyes
Odors, music, sounds, noises often intensifies
To recalling scenes unfamiliar this day
Instant return, to a previous role and play
We are all actors in an endless production
Exiting the stage to an parallel dimension
Returning anew to an eternal prescription
That shapes and determines our present existence
