Best Mingled Poems
The foliage unruffled, the tree trunks utterly baffled
The reign of darkness all along
A nightly hoot of owl, the occasional growl
Of a tiger bold and strong
The silence of night, the crescent moon’s light
A play of light and dark
The serene nature sleeps a strange fever creeps
The homebound wings of a lark
An eerie silence reigns in the forest now.
A few huts of people living in this forest
Can be seen at the distance. The faint light spilled
Through the roofs is busy in hiding its scantiness;
Though darkness and silence of the forest are extending
A sympathetic hand to it. A baby cries, its mother cradles
The new-found affection gently, gently, it is bound to be
Lulled into sleep whereas all the leaping flames
Circle the mother and baby in an enchanted dance
The morning glows in stranger shine. The ferny floor
All teeming with greedy shadows; the day shows the door
Of immeasurable wealth; they tread invisible ways
To usurpation, primitive hands fail to prevent
Modern cormorants and voracious sharks in complete sway

Mingled highs and lows from the weather
All around earth gives forth flowers
Radiant sun awakens and birds gather
Constant change as each tree grows higher
Hopeful season of spring; spirit towers
Majestic springtime sunrises
Amorous hidden feelings spring forth
Rapturous aroma surprises
Captivating senses of mirth
Heavenly days linger, henceforth?
Magic moments float into night's prizes
Attentive doting companion
Rehearses love's verse~ excited
Completely engulfed unabandoned
Hauting thoughts float like jasmine

Our words they mingled, in space and time.
Dancing blank pages, between blank lines.
The thoughts we had, not shared out loud.
The sounds of words, our thoughts abound.
Our eyes they meet, with silence round.
Our words are mingled, just thoughts no sound.
Mingled Rhythms
Our living earth does promise us new life;
after winter's sleep, it wakes once more.
As trees are governed by deep roots
that awake when spring arrives,
all life meets death but finds
new beginnings dawned,
while life and death,
their mingled
rhythms
spin.

My son brought a one-year-old dog. He called her Jin, a golden retriever
My wife and I didn't like the pet animals
But we were accustomed to looking after it
She came near me when my son was out. I touched her with a little doubt She behaved very well with a bark. I kept her in the kennel in the dark
Likewise, She reigned as a ruler in the home Her tail looked like a bundle of foam. She attracted the children by her fluffy hair. Her friendly tone mingled in the air.
I am always moved by her wagged tail
And she became a part of our lives Now-a-days she never goes out lonely. She was accompanied by me only.
