Old Mirror and Her Lil Girl

She is silent & she plays
Mostly she has books before her face
She rarely come to me
& ran away as fast as she could
I know her since her childhood
She is my Lil girl
& I'm an old mirror of her room

One day she came to me
Having beautiful smile
& gleaming eyes
Singing romantic songs & flying
As if she isn't watching mirror
Like she is playing lead role in her favorite fairy tale
I felt her crazy & myself amazed
'cause I realized
My Lil girl who is actually shy
Fall in love with a guy

One day she came to me
With wetty eyes, throat filled
Uninterested in everything
Ist time focusing her face & thinking
As if she isn't watching a mirror
Like she is a cop beating herself, arresting someoneelse
I felt sad & she was depressed
Then I realized
My Lil girl, so lovely
Failed & Fooled in love, badly

One day she came to me
Pushed her eyebrows up
Brought leader's smile on her face
One hand up & delicately waved
As if she isn't watching a mirror
Like she is addressing the whole world through me
I felt proud, she looks great
& finally I realized
My Lil girl unknowingly
Just growing up slowly... &...slowly

Lil' Blue, Our Favorite Christmas Tree

It was nothing but a tiny Blue Spruce,
lil’ Blue never grew to be tall enough for Eve-
Each branch withered, each blade loose,
all the other Spruces couldn’t believe.
So, one day the lil' Blue did leave.

He ventured out into the cold with might,
he knew not of anything warm or comfy-
He was standing crooked under the moonlight,
when he met eyes with no one but me.
It was like lil' Blue was finally a good tree.

He was sad looking, not very pretty,
but with him I felt a strange connection-
We talked; he was silly and witty,
so, we walked and made a pine cone collection.
It was his time to shine, his resurrection.

I brought him home and the lights I strung,
tinsel and handmade ornaments were placed-
On the tip of his frail head an angel I hung,
you should’ve seen the look upon his face!
It was a look of joy no one could replace.

The next morning down came my daughter,
she was excited to see a tree full of joy-
She saw beauty, because compassion I taught her,
she’d rather have a Christmas tree than any toy.
My puppy smelled lil' Blue and smiled; good boy.

Christmas ended and lil' Blue started to get sad,
he knew it was time to go back to the woods-
For it was the best Christmas he ever had,
and with pitiful eyes he just stood.
Then I wondered, “hmmm, what if I could?”

So, I dug a huge hole in the yard for lil’ Blue,
planted him with care and love for our family-
It was a miracle, ten feet tall he grew,
he laughed with happiness and thanked me.
He was part of us now…our favorite Blue Spruce tree.

Lil' Richie

A butcher named Richard McCall
Attended a naturist ball.
        But at registration,
        Due to refrigeration,
His name tag read "Dickie McSmall".

"i' M In Love Wit You"(Inflenced By My Lil Sis Atedra)

"I'm in love wit you"
is such a strong phrase
Keeps me guessing
leaves me in a daze
puting me a new phase
Making me wonder if I mean it or not
I can't say it
I can't break your heart
I love you
But I'm not in love wit you
not now anyways
Maybe we can progess
into something new
and I can finally someday say "I'm in love wit you"

Hang On a Lil Longer

The green
Marlboro light in her fingers
Smoke shifting in the air
The wind blowing through
The combini flags
Waving surrender
We stay quiet
In the dark night
If one of us speaks
A single word
Everything will overflow
Endlessly
Nothing can stop
The tears
The truth
The taste
From flowing
In our mouthes
Keep on pretending
Just gotta
Hang on a
Lil longer
Have a
Lil more patience
Have a
Lil more trust
Wait
I see it
There's the light
At the end
Of the tunnel
Just hold on

Angry Lil Girl

Why does this happen to me everyday, When I scream why can't I have it my way? When I
cry why dont you ask if I'm o.k? When I drop to my knee's as if I should pray, But nothing I
do is getting to you, only when I dream I can create a pure fool.

Dear Lil Sista

Dear Lil sister. .
Hey pretty girl how you doing these days. How's life treating ya, hope it
hasn't been to cray. I noticed you were down, well how bout u talk to me. I
just wanna uplift ya, see you become who you were born to be. I know your
life has been crazy, Lord knows it to. But all those trials and tribulations
they won't break you. I know you hate that man from your past for touching
you the wrong way, you never told no one n it bothers you to dis day. It
created a dark cloud that covered your heart, now you have trust issues
can't tell the enemies apart. Night after night you pray to God for a fresh
start. Low self esteem, but baby your a work of art. Yeah i know you was
sad growing up without a father. As the years go by life seems to get harder.
I know you wanted that affection, the love you deserve as a daughter. Moma
tried her best but some things sh couldn't have taught ya. I know you wish he
told you, how beautiful you are over n over again. How all of your power
cums from deep within. Those weren't the cards you were dealt so you seek
refuge in other men. Trying to fill that void that has always been missing.
Now your in a situation and too scared to leave cause you think to yourself
nobody will ever love me for me. Countiuosly talking to yourself, and crying
secretly. But baby girl that's a lie I say differently. Your a daughter of a king,
so that makes you a princess. Your father hates to see you cry, that's why he
wants to give you his best. You are heirs of royalty don't u ever forget it. You
ARE victorious let me hear you admit it. Please baby girl don't be another
statistic this world wants to see down, so handle your business. Never follow
the crowd honey be independent. Cause when those checks come in, they'll
have a lot of digits. Always remember to remind yourself how beautiful you
are.I don’t care if your tall, short, white, black or covered in scars. Being
beautiful starts from the heart, so love yourself first. And always know that
the best comes after the worst. Hang in there hun, I know life's a twister. But
you can always count on me. Sincerely your big sister.

Lil Dog

Perky, pesky, pretty-petite;
yippy, yappy, always-in-need-of-a-treat.
Loving, lazy, little-lump;
Cutie, cuddly, see-how-high-I-can-jump?
Spoiled, sneaky, snacky snoot,
Munching on old chips, teething on mum's leather boot,
overly-sweet, oogling oaf,
maybe-just-a-bite-or-perhaps-the-whole-loaf.

Lil' Spring Flowers

.

And along came the lil’ Spring flowers
in there 'mong the springing grass

      Distended visions before me
as if I were not there

                In the garden
                     yesss
          the flowers did belong
           and I at the distance
                     yesss
              where I did fit in

             I felt the soft heat
                       and
                 that scream

                 “it’s Spring”

My Lil Special Guest

It popped
in as if to say
hello
my birdie buddy all sweet and
mellow
Dressed in a downy gold gown
of yellow
I tried to cheep in tune, join its
song to say
'welcome my chirping lil fellow
Oh my it sang then like a
feathered cello!

So Soupers hi and hello
and twitter tweet tweet
May you find this short 'n'
sweet sweet
This was about my winged
guest of honor
What shall I call her, Eileen O'
Connor?
It's birdsong is my very favourite music
Nature 's natural melodies so harmonic

(contest, 'sweetest touches of verse)

My Lil Man

The moon peeks thru my window
Looking to bathe me in its midnight light
We are one yet we are two
I feel you stretch inside my stretched out belly
Watch as your hand presses against your tiny home
I start to hum my mothers song and I can feel you shift
Perhaps to listen better I smile as the thought crosses my mind
You relax as I lay we lay watching the moon watch us
It used to be me against the world
Now its us against the world
But never fear
For i am near
And while im here
No harm will come to you my dear
My lil man my heart
Though you're still so small
And the world so big
I'd face a thousand foes
Smooth out a thousand woes
Before letting you go.
Rocking in my rocking chair
I sit and dream of years to come
Your first christmas
First grade
Your second third and fourth girlfriends
The fifth scraped knee
Your sixth doctor visit
The seventh grade when you made the team
And the eighth when you almost quit
Nine dozen late night conversations
And of course the 10 million kisses
I just cant stop giving you
A lifetime of treasured memories just waiting to happen
As I sit there rocking in my rocking chair
The moon peeking thru my window
And your tiny movements
As my heart beats with your heartbeat
And our hearts beat as one
My lil man

Lil Fuzz Ball

You are my most favorite and
The greatest friend I’ve ever had.
You have never failed at making
Me smile, your cute and silly ways
Always tricking me when you play
Hide and seek and just before I’d freak
Thinking you’d run away from home
Leaving me all alone, you’d
Pop your head out from your
Bed enough for me to see
Your fuzzy head, oh so small.
So small and so brave, full
Of courage as you so happily
Roll around in your ball,
Ready to conquer it all.
You are the greatest pet
To me, you surely beat them all.
My hamster, my

My Lil Big Brother

When he was a child, He threw my belongings out the window
Gazed upon me not knowing, Where I would go
Belt welts for my belongings, He did not know where about
Dwelling in a cold city night, They looked for me in my fright
When I became a teem mom, He embraced my change
Knowing I've always been like a mother, Even when not holding the title of her name
When he realized he beat me, He was not naive to see
However his mind was not developed enough , To see it was breaking threads
He adapted to my change gradually, Seeing it as the norm
Eventually seeing the sister he once knew, Becoming someone he now mourned
As he grew he pushed harder because he knew, My hopes and dreams for him were true
Occasionally falling off track, He intensely fought back
So that he to could give up, But he continues to strive
Graduating first, Meeting the finish line
He knew he made me proud, As an adult expressing I was heard cheering all along In receiving my approval, Formulating his grind
When I gave up, In my energy he drowned
Helping me to stay afloat, Encouraging me as his life boat
I continue to tread water, Within tsunamis in my head
Now using him as the outlet, In which I express my purge
My deep darkest fears, Managing the currant so I can breathe
Helping to improve my strokes, Through his knowledge of swimming
When younger siblings step in, In pride we should not be led
Through an Ego filled mind, Remember they've been watching you the entire time

My Lil Big Brother

Lil Me

My very own Lil me,
You are indeed my Shorty.

Growing up so quick and fast,
Your childhood days didn’t last.

What you are becoming,
Is only baffling and cunning.

A child from my very soul,
My daughter’s growing old.

I love you Angela, Lil me
You fill my world so beautifully.
