Hang On a Lil Longer

The green
Marlboro light in her fingers
Smoke shifting in the air
The wind blowing through
The combini flags
Waving surrender
We stay quiet
In the dark night
If one of us speaks
A single word
Everything will overflow
Endlessly
Nothing can stop
The tears
The truth
The taste
From flowing
In our mouthes
Keep on pretending
Just gotta
Hang on a
Lil longer
Have a
Lil more patience
Have a
Lil more trust
Wait
I see it
There's the light
At the end
Of the tunnel
Just hold on
