Premium Member Threshold of Madness

The cold hand of Winter swiftly approaches
Its breath etches frost on my windowpanes
Nearer my threshold, Death now encroaches

Blood is slowly chilling inside my frail veins
Reaper's wild winds pelts hail on my roof
His breath etches frost on my windowpanes

Snowdrifts climb higher on the sills in reproof
Huddled in a corner, my fear is spurred
Reaper's wild winds pelts hail on my roof

This room is the chamber where I'll be interred
On the threshold of madness, I'm losing grip
Huddled in a corner, my fear is spurred

Winter's hand has caused a temperature dip
I flinch at the sound of a knock on my door
On the threshold of madness, I'm losing grip

Terror incites me to curse what I abhor
The cold hand of Winter swiftly approaches
I flinch at the sound of a knock on my door
Nearer my threshold, Death now encroaches

Passion

Passion
blue sky ignites,
passion incites,
passion fights,
to be free to ride.

lady delights,
heavy breathing might,
beach might us abide,
he stood alone and cried:(

and it was hardly tried,
no consequence to ride,
just realitys bride?
bewildering, delight sometime tonight.

the artist draws within their mind,
and couples words, duck ponds and yet,
the water flows and it will rhyme,
and on it goes, the passion sets,
until another time:)

A Love Built On Trust

A love built on trust

Our love flutters on calypso breezes,
cruising on the tropic of Capricorn
All of our anxieties it eases,
as mango sun wakes us this August morn

Passionate dew glistens on sun kissed skin
as we gaze at skies of peaches and cream
your essence incites desires within
We're enamored in this tropical dream

This is no cruise ship infatuation
We confess and reveal history's scars
tethered together in hearts migration
Promising love, under the moon and stars

Shooting stars ricochet through cosmic dust
Heavenly signs that our love's built on trust

Ode To a Persimmon

Ode to a Persimmon

Ahhh!
Ripe, juicy, pulpy persimmon…
plump berry, mini orange sun.
Syrupy sweet delicious delight
dangling golden in day’s bright light,
on blue-green leafy branch up high,
glossy under a summer sky.

Fleshy ambrosial enchantress,
nectar of Pomona, fruit goddess.
Like a bee to honey I’m drawn;
your flavor incites me to fawn.
My greedy taste buds you excite,
tempting me to come take a bite.

Dangling golden in day’s bright light,
syrupy sweet delicious delight.
Tempting me to come take a bite,
my greedy taste buds you excite.
Plump berry, mini orange sun…
ripe, juicy, pulpy persimmon.
Ahhh!

Autumn Fire

Life embracing death in fire
Orange red yellow and brown
Moments hugging before departure
A colour bonanza in sundown

The oranges that you gave me
The tomatoes that I gave you
Nothing in fact in vain has been
Look at them in the autumn hue

Deep orange is the nature
In fading sad summer leaves
Dreams of the lingering life
Autumn wool bleeds and weaves

Crimson whispers of the cool wind
Into the yellow red and brown
Incites the autumn fire further
Freedom fire in the town

Starved of green I am in fall
Even in transit I am in love
With this green and yellow life
And your lovely lifeful cup

Glamour game of autumn fire
Golden brown and yellow balls
Colours of the laughing tear
To greet lovely tiny footfalls

Premium Member Wind

to mark the edge of spring
to tilt strawmen 'gainst their will
late April wind shuffles new leaves like a deck of cards
a simple trick
nature in its gliding

the willow rustling
pushed by the huff and puff of big bad wolf intention
a wind that incites the season's freshness
rich romp of swaying
aspirations warring
their swooshing blow of heaving like a magistrate robed

wispy clouds wafted away to find other kin
as whispers fill night air, thick and thin
to hide themselves in willful skies

the wind at one's back, a spritely elevation
when worry mislays direction
when whistles overwash resistance
when the wind is weightless like devout contentment
you'll hear its chords of song

Premium Member My Scarlet Woman

Amongst the oaks and the maples and shrubbery so green
Runs a translucent flow, a stream so pristine
It's meandering contours hugging the land
Takes me back to the day, we met unplanned

The sky was pale blue on this hot summers day
Cotton wool clouds in mesmerising display
It's as if you could reach out and brush with your hand
This candy floss coating ceiling our land

Many meadows I walked through capturing the sounds
Listening to her marvels in cinema surround
Technicolour rainbows so radiant to the eye
Such beauty in nature, understandably why

I reach the turn-style that leads to the forest walk
Listening to the breeze through the trees as if they talk
These pillars of stature, as old as grandfathers years
Many stories they could tell, that would bring you to many tears

As I stroll through the leafy lanes, mapped out over many years
Trampled underfoot by it's inhabitants, badgers and beautiful red deer
I now reach the stream as I follow it's meandering flow
To a pool at it's end where past maidens bathed in glow

My ears now pick up sounds of singing and a splashing
Resonating from the pool, a glimpse of pink now flashing
A lady stands before me, bathing in the stream
Scarlet clothing in sporadic lay, am I in some kind of dream

I call out to this beauty as she turns and looks at me
Towards the bank she walks, and invites me in with she
Knee deep in crystal waters our bodies close in touch
My clothing now drifts away, the two of us in clutch

Into our eyes we both now look as blood flows through my veins
Her touch is soft and gentle, my hands now stroke her mane
Deeper we edge out as she floats and hugs my waist
The two of us in join in this beautiful serene quiet place

Our emotion creates commotion as our undulations reach the shore
Ripples of joy they are as underwater hands explore
The coldness incites a reaction, in pert and firm caress
In delightful blend we release, two souls in loving press

Kissing we reach the bank, on her summer dress we lie
Sighing in breathless spoon, we stare at the green canopy sky
Many, many hours have passed, lying naked below the peeking sun
This is the day I met my scarlet woman, the day our lives began

Children get seized at the border;
parents are led away in cuffs.
Under Presidential order
ICE morphed into a gang of toughs.

The United States has no shame
they sold their soul to the devil.
Asylum seekers weren't to blame
for Trump sinking to this level.

Kids are a political tool,
kidnapped from fleeing families.
Enforced by Republican rule,
laws mandate these calamities.

Nazis and fascists rally round
Trump, waving confederate flags.
Hate's propaganda is unbound,
their blood chants recruiting scumbags.

A bigot's voted in power,
a nationalist is in charge.
A man defined by Trump-tower
is revered by cultists at large.

Democracy's reached a crossroads,
a lunatic has won the race.
And holding the nuclear codes
he incites his ass-kissing base.

Ode To My Wife's Butt

A true vision of loveliness, wiggle-bouncing down the street
Just the sight at times incites a spontaneous victory dance
Particularly when it’s in tight bike shorts perched upon a seat
And I don’t forget the way it flatters your yoga pants

It’s been with us through all our days, even on vacation
And I don’t mean to sound like a total jerk
But truly, it’s my primary source of motivation
Without it I’m not sure that I’d bother going to work

And oh, this is how I feel from the depths of my heart:
Don’t underestimate the marital benefit of your curves
There were times your backside was the only part
Of you that wasn’t totally getting on my nerves

So hold not contempt for my love of your flavor
That bubblicious booty squish-ous wifeberry deluxe
There are times it was an outright marriage saver
Some may try to deny it, but they’re ignorant schmucks

I’m sure there are shallow things that you love about me
Though saying them out loud is probably taboo
Something that you lean on when I drive you up a tree
Just ‘cuz it’s superficial doesn’t mean it’s not true

Love is true love that lures you, not you alluring it
Don’t try to find love, let love find you to hook.
First sight love forces you not to fall, you just fall,
First sight love is potent but have a second look.

Love is like butterflies who’re not as civilized as men
Who needs half happiness and twice the longevity.
Have a look at butterflies flirting happily around sane,
Settling down nowhere but full of joy and not longevity.

Love is silent, language or tongue hasn’t power
To speak what love incites by a kiss, a glance
An eye, or a sound, a touch, a smile or a flower
Even the tears, the messengers of grief and trance
More eloquent than a hundred words to compare.

Love is more than a common noun to suffice
It’s a verb to care, share, help, suffer, and sacrifice
A woman in travail has sorrow till her hour is come
As she delivers, pain gone; Oh, the love of a mom.

Who, What and Why

Fanatical Clerics feed religious fervour,
by rousing fanatics to kill - as an observer
can see almost daily on the TV today.
No thought given to victims, who they
regard as inconsequential in their quest
to become martyrs. When obsessed
by unscrupulous bigots who radicalise
these zealots with promises that hypnotise
and inflames them with a burning passion,
and incites them to commit deeds in a fashion
that all rational thinking men fear! Felo-de-se
is regarded as a badge of honour, and we see
callow youths seeking vainglory recognition,
joining the forces of evil! Without contrition
they engage in the casual slaughter of innocents!
To enact obscene atrocities they don garments
that conceal explosives, then infiltrate a throng,
to detonate their device, as their swan song!
By targetting busy locales in many cities,
they exact great loss of life, with such atrocities,
indiscriminately killing adults and children alike,
they leave survivors to grieve. Isis terrorists strike
at the core of democracy, hoping to promote strife
amongst ethnic groups, showing no sanctity for life:
not even their own! Such hated villains are despised!
These forces of evil, must even leave Satan surprised.

A Damsel In Distress

Curled in the womb, a dreamless summer night
Hark the coming of a baby snow-white
Eternal beauty and grace, a cuddly delight
Twinkle in her eye, there is never any respite
Nimbly she walks on, roguery she incites
Alice in wonderland, hiding away from the light

Mocking at men, when she came of age
It was all pretence of a teeny tiny phase
Riddle she became, which men strove to work out
Candle light dinners, yet lingered ever a doubt.
How did innocence, turn out so ravishing?
A nymph in disguise, her life is confusing.
Nasty or just hasty; she can’t herself surmise
Do I dare to find out, am I wise to analyze
Am I able to suppress my own prejudice?
Nourishing a sentiment, have concealed it so well
Is she the one for me, should I go and ring the bell?

Salute Brother

(To a brother, he gives his biryhday celebration to be with the less fortunate kids. He is a hand of this nation)
Love ain't an illy feeling healed but a commuted commitment
Care and fair ain't a lay pay job but a heart learnt art of passion
At a young age yearned long to hand a hand to them
Yours heart pained, drenched with love for the kids
Drunk in intense integrity intimately intending to help
Shunned of your pleasure and leisure to raise and strike a ray
Left all comforts and some-pots to lightly knight a heart
Humbled like an infant faced firm no fear
Hope and trust, trained tranquility to you

Them tummied, armied and dummied grace a day in Green Land
You, humbled, abled, labeled and favoured grace it in Green Card
Not to fill yours abdomen and **** cavity like they
But a ground to grace and ace a life and file a future
Want no fine wine, no 'kay cake
But see, think as I ink his list of least needs for feeds
For he humbles to offer it for free to them
Them, some not known of a day like it
For only him present in their presence
Its him OMONDI FRANCIS.

As he elevates and celebrates a great day
Pimps and teams the kids with joy
Frees and fills their day with love
Invites and incites us all to join
Lets support and sup up his passion
Born a boy but who serves a nation
For as a country we conquered Like a society we sort
Happy Birthday bro.

That Light

It is like no other
It is harmony amidst
All dismay
It is peace amidst
All mayhem
For it is only here
That we stand
United,
Sister by sister
Shoulder by shoulder,
I don’t know you
You don’t know me
Yet tonight, like many
Other nights
In ultimate devotion
Together we shall stand
Together we shall kneel
Only this time with glory
And utter respect,
Our fervent whispers
Rising in the air
Our fingers avidly pointing
To the sky
Just one
For Allah is only one,
Breathing...
Teary-eyed…
Surrounded by a tranquility
That seeps deep into heart
And a voice that incites
Our musings…we listen,
We contemplate as it recites
As we all stare
Into that light
