Love Justice made me wrest you from her bed
It’s right for you to lie with me instead
For you were mine before she came to be
A prowling threat to our felicity

My broken heart cries…JUSTICE!

It’s meant for me to ravish you tonight
To give you pain as well as sheer delight
I love you still and yet your heart must pay
For shameless way you gave my love away

My wounded pride cries...JUSTICE

And here you are inside my bed of love
I’ve bound you up, no more a gentle dove
I take revenge on body and your soul
Enslaved, you yield to dominatrix role

My passion mad cries…JUSTICE

I take from you: I take, I take, I take
Each pleasure filled, I writhe and make you quake
I kiss, caress, and taste in wanton might
Your eyes ablaze, your fervor I ignite

My vengeful soul cries…JUSTICE

And all the while I hear you gasp MY name
In ecstasy my spoils of war I claim
You beg forgiveness as you helpless lie
I satiate my needs; fulfilled I sigh

My hungry need cries…JUSTICE

This tryst was meant to teach you lover's pain
You bear the marks of love that is insane
I slash your bonds and fall in your embrace
For I have seen the wonder in your face

Relieved am I, for I have tasted JUSTICE!

Sitting in the stillness
Of early morning light
Freed again from darkness
That bleeds on through the night

Leaves from summer rustling
As soft gentle breezes blow
Colored by cool autumn nights
As stately trees prepare for snow

Soft music fills the silence
That begins a brand new day
Sung by a warbling wanderer
Who chooses to waylay

The many days that ended
With their burden overdue
Are forgotten in this moment
As you try to start anew

Selfish dreams of secret passions
Born of restless sleep
Hide the emptiness and sorrow
And the reasons why you weep

As the quiet desperation
Slowly drains from every pore
You lift a troubled conscience
That lay crumpled on the floor

Peace floods your weary spirit
As your heart and soul agree
When yesterday and tomorrow
Strive to live in harmony

I see…
red splotches on her night gown
still oozing down her face
“I fell again.”
She looks at us
with that same wobbly smile
“I’m Ok! Don’t worry. I’m OK!”
I can’t see
a clear liquid oozes down my face

I see…
Mama is dazed
clutching her face
Couldn’t light the stove fast enough
An explosion
We thought a bomb had hit the kitchen
War time years
Everyone running around
Mayhem
Mama burned her face
“I’m Ok…I’m fine.”
She tries to smile
I scream
I can’t see clearly
watery haze of tears
covers everything
along with the smoke

I see…
Mama gasping for breath
Mama going red in the face
“Mom, are you ok?”
Another coughing fit
Can’t get the food to go down
I pat her on the back
I pray…
Will this be it?
Will she choke this time?
Muscles that don't work
I see
I see
I cry
I scream
Raspy voice
Tears streaming down her face
I’m…Ok…..I'm OK now."
That lying smile
Her hand goes up
I can’t see
Double tear vision
Life is unclear

I hear
I hear
“You’re afraid I’m going to die, aren't you?”
I see
Kind brown eyes
Looking into mine
They are filling up
the wobbly smile is gone
she lets her tears speak
Oh….to talk to talk about it
Release
What can I say?
What can she say?
We feel
We feel
She crushes my body to hers
Neither of us can see
Blinded by tears

I see
Clouded eyes
She’s in a place I can’t reach
I shake
I shake
“Mama, can you hear me?”
She tries
I cry
I scream
ANGRY
I SCREAM
“Mama, listen to me!”

“GOD?
God…HEAL HER!!!
HEAL HER!
NOW!
A miracle
For ME!"

I beg
I plead
I demand

“Mama, do you believe?
Jesus can heal you!
Do you believe?”
“Yes,” a whisper
Almost inaudible
I pray
I can't see
Eyes of mustard seed faith
Shut tight
“Forgive our sins!
In the name of Jesus
Be healed, Mama!”
Eye lids fluttering open
I see
I see
Mama is still on the wheel chair
She’s bound…not free
I don’t see anymore
My head drops to my knees

I get dizzy
I drop things
In the shower
I fall
Cracked ribs
I cry
I scream
Alone
I hear
I hear
“You have MS TOO!
It has come for YOU!”
I can’t see
Shower water mixes with tears

“God?!
GOD?
Do you SEE?
DO you HEAR?
DO you FEEL?
GOD?
I’m here!
I’m….here!
No wobbly smile
No one to be strong for
I'm not alright!
See me!
SEE....ME!"

Heart & Soul

What a wonderful thing to behold!
Have you ever seen one quite so cute?
Never ever wanna let you go..
dressed in a brand new birthday suit.

How nicely you plucked heart strings..
that day you flew into life,
on two sun-kissed shining wings.

All your charms,
sent my heart straight to Mars,
the day you fell asleep..
right here in my arms..

Oh Heart & Soul..

Not yet even one day old,
left me feelin' ten feet tall..
so precious a tale be told..
pink bottom and all!

Went to shop for ribbons and bows,
said the angels.. we don't have any of those..
how 'bout ten fingers and toes?

The day you took my heart & soul,
was oh so nice, yes all sugar and spice,
so glad your mom brought you home..
would a kept you at twice the price.

Under lightning streaked flashing glow..
the night a duet sought to become a sweet trio.
Please tell your mom she's still the best,
no better nine month gift was I ever blessed.

Prosperous Heart and Soul Knows

mind's door to the soul
                                      soul's door to the supreme soul
                                            pictures talk there in

                                            until love's felt cute
                                     prosperous heart and soul knows
                                           life rests out of hand

A Running Heart and Soul

by Michael J Falotico

                                                  curtain covered heart.
                                                 slowly opened to a light.
                                                love comes in and warms.

                                                  locked window to soul.
                                                opened latches to create.
                                                heart and soul now write.

                                                     a man lies asleep.
                                              while dreams awaken inside
                                                   I now run with words.

When Thy Heart And Soul Have Both Been Fleeced

When thy heart and soul have both been fleeced
world shattered, thy hidden demons released,
canyons of whirling circles in night dreams
dark rules, no saving light left that redeems.
Life raped, your sanctuary invaded,
joy for epic pains were thus dark-traded
truth is, Hope has yet to be defeated,
shall not be, if Love is not ill-treated.

Look up! Bright sun still shines upon thy head
Spring is golden, gleaming roses are red,
world kicked hard but races on as before
lift thy head, open eyes, walk through that door.

When all is said and done, know this reward
greater that gift when life faced was so hard.

 He was a stray cat who suddenly one day appeared,
and for this old cats safety within days-   I feared;
when I tried to touch his fur he hissed and growled,
but, when I was inside he meowed and howled.
So, I decided to save him from living on the street danger,
and hoped this old cat would trust this stranger;
I named him Grumpy Cat because, well he was,
in no time- on my heart he left impressions of his paws.
The unconditional love we soon shared was amazing,
often, I would find his golden eyes into my eyes gazing;
I gave him baths and after- I held for a long time to my heart,
and his rusty purr rumbled and into my life he was part.
For twelve years it was pure bliss-    until his sudden death;
when he left footprints within my soul in his last breath.

The winds, may indeed be rough, and shake the trees.
But it cannot shake my love for you, as it's all that I need.

I can call on that eternal burning love, day or night.
It brings my soul from the darkness to your love light.

I can rekindle the wick to my pounding, full heart.
For in destiny's moment, when I first saw you,
my life took off and did really start.

Empyreal Heart and Soul

O Nebulae of Heart and Soul!
In infrared portrayal WISE,
your colors grace the stellar skies.
Have you a core celestial role?

Supernal presences you seem
that steal one’s fancy unawares,
far-off from earthly human cares,
inspiring a soulful dream.

Does music of the spheres resound
in utterness of heavens’ art
to beating of a boundless heart
we seldom hear here on the ground?

You bring to mind the vintage song,
where lovers fell in love and kissed
one magic night in moonlit mist—
 a classic tune, still going strong.

Six thousand light-years from our Earth
is where you two evince your charm—
part of Perseus’ spiral arm—
in cosmic womb for starry birth.

That limb is in our Milky Way.
Cassiopeia holds the Soul
east of the Heart, to make the whole
of the mosaic on display.

Your archetypal names evoke
Cupid and Psyche myths of old,
tales allegorical untold,
poetic visions you awoke.

In concert you’re a perfect pair.
Befittingly you reign on high.
Lest we forget wherefore and why,
our true humanity is there!

[The Heart and Soul Nebulae are seen in this infrared mosaic from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE. All four infrared detectors aboard WISE were used to make this image. Color is representational: blue and cyan represent infrared light at wavelengths of 3.4 and 4.6 microns, which is dominated by light from stars. Green and red represent light at 12 and 22 microns, which is mostly light from warm dust.]

You Lost Your Heart and Soul, and Love Lost You--Fifth Shadow Sonnet Challenge

~~~You Lost Your Heart and Soul, and Love Lost You!~~~
Seas called me back home to the Red Sea
Souls without a spirit, were the lost souls
Be their promise my soul don't let me be
Cold and alone underneath the dead cold
Hearts cried out a love-songs deep in my heart
Sand in my shoes, thoughts buried in the sand
Darts hit my heart; arrows of fiery darts
Can this be love in my heart, say it can?
Doves of peace and life, fly high my white doves
Life faded away no one saved my life
Love lost its will, lost all I did to love
Strife took derelict of duty was strife
Due process lost the law, with life's pain due
You lost your heart and soul, and love lost you.
When an indigo thought
        in my broken heart
was touched by the gold
       in your romantic soul
we found ourselves blended
       in hue gloriously splendid
 with a luminous sheen
       in the shade of sage green
We dance to the sound of wind chimes.
And whistle to the tune of butterfly wings
We see MELLOW music in WATERFALLS.
We smile at falling rain on PRISTINE summer days expecting
