Premium Member Woods

What were you doing, alone in the woods, my John,
What were you doing out at dawn?
Why it hasn't rained for ages now,
So many failed crops, and fields you must plough.
Your dirty clothes are all so glum.
You're just a little dirty bum
You deserve no pity, my son.
Go up and clean yourself, get done,
There'll be no food for you tonight,
And don't dare cry you messy mite.

What were you doing, alone in the woods, my John,
What were you doing out at dawn?
You dared disobey me again,
Bastard idiot and a pain.
Look at your clothes, all wet with dew,
Torn without a valid reason, too.
Do you think that I can afford
Money needed, is all we hoard?
I'll show you what attire you'll fray.
I swear I'll tear your hideaway.

What were you doing, alone in the woods, my John,
What were you doing alone at dawn?
Did I not send you to get twigs,
Why do you behave like poor pigs?
What are those stains around your face?
Eating berries? Did you say grace?
There, how's that for a bloody punch?
Now your face looks best like a crunch,
Can't even take his correction.
Wipe that juice, you misconception.

What were you doing, alone in the woods, my John,
What were you doing alone at dawn?
Were you smooching with silly ****,
That goody goody, y mutt?
Go find a hooker, try to learn
What true pleasures women can burn.
You'll never learn from that hussy,
Good for nothing bit of lassie.
If I see you again with her,
Why I'll castrate you forever.

What were you doing, alone in the woods, my John,
What were you doing alone at dawn?
Were not your father there with you?
Why is your face so red and blue?
Why haven't you returned together?
Eating berries in this weather?
Why is your new shirt so blood-stained?
Don't you know he will have you chained!
Oh John, my John, you'll never learn
Your father will kill you, he's stern.
What's that smile on your face, my John?
What were you doing, alone in the woods, my son,
What were you doing?

Daughter of the King

Daughter of the King

Young woman.....
You are
First and foremost and always
A daughter of the King....

Molded and created with
delicate architecture and
infused with notes of mystery
and beauty,
Fiery passions and gifts that
slowly unfold
Like a flowers petals opening in
due season
With the right amount of
sunshine and rain
You bring vibrancy and color
like lilies to a valley.

You are a daughter of the King

Designed with the remarkable
ability to give birth to life
A life that is every part you,
every part of a man, and every
part a unique creation
You are a daughter of the King
Designed to shine and bring joy
Your strengths to compliment
and your weaknesses to be
complimented
You are not an accident
You are not your past mistakes
You are not cell tissue
You are not what people may
have called you
Labels they have contrived
Or grave abuses you have
survived
Your name is not Stupid, ****,
Good for Nothing, Prude,
Pathetic, or Weird
It is not Loser, Lunatic,
Incompetent , or Waste of Time
It isn't Drama Queen,
Desperate, or "be seen but not
heard",
Your name is Fearfully and
Wonderfully made
Though
You may feel lonely at times
You're not Forever Alone
Because you are Never Alone
You may feel weak at times
But you are not your
achievements or your failures
You Are

A daughter of the King

You do not need to hide the
delicacy of your femininity
behind callous walls of
protection
The King will watch over His
kingdom
And He will fiercely defend and
provide just what you need
He knows every hair on your
head, every desire and every
dread
He knows and sees every tear,
every frustrating sigh, and
smiles at every victory.

You are a daughter of the King.

You are beautifully and
intricately woven by the same
hands that put the atoms and
the universe in perfect order...
You are the apple of the
Creators eye
Never duplicated
Though some may try
Failing to see
That they too are carved in
uniqueness.
You are in this world
But not bound by it
Given wings to take flight
To soar among the heavens
From where your essence was
breathed from

You are
A daughter of the King

Premium Member Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde's Love Poem

I love how your long chestnut hair flows over your gentle shoulders,
And when the sun searches you out for a moment, your hair sparkles…

Because I lit a match and threw it into that rat infested hair ball that you
Waste all your time on. Next up is your head which I’m going to rip…

Don’t listen to him. I’m mesmerized by your deep blue eyes, when they lovingly
Gaze In my direction. I will never make you shed a tear, my dear…

But I’m going to kick you about this filthy house. It looks like all you’ve
Done all day is piss in the wind. And stop your crying; your baggy eyes are…

Ignore him, my love. Your soft, gentle touch upon my face arouses my senses to new Heights. All my cares wash away as your aquiline hand slowly glides along my arm…

What the hell does he know? If you don’t get your boney hand off me, I’m going to break it In half. And the next time I catch you trying to be nice I’m going to throw you out with…

Stop that, Hyde. Sorry, my love, but as I was saying, your body is a masterpiece sculpted out of the finest treasures. I’m in awe of its supple curves, how it flinches to the touch…

Oh, shut up Doc, you’re killing me. And speaking of killing, I feel like pummeling
The living daylights out of your emaciated, piece of good for nothing…

Please be mine baby, before I’m lost forever to…

I’m in charge, so get over here and take it like…

I’m fading, my love. Hurry, say you’ll be mine. Save us.

I’m going to tear you apart. You’re no baby, you’re a…

Save me, before the monster wins…

Too late, Dr., she will be all mine soon…

Just a kiss, my dear. Just a…

‘Slap’, take that b****...

One kiss. Now! -The Dr. and his lover kiss- Thank you, my love. Let that vile
Monster rest in peace, so that we will be left in peace from it for evermore.

Premium Member Salt of the Earth - 1

Salt is the seasoning, the spice of life
The reason for giving out
Flavors to heal hurt
Herbs to relieve grief
Suggestions that fill minds
With hope, faith and love

Salt is the zest of giving
The tang that touches
Upon the heart’s feelings
The additive that suggests
We all need God’s healing
With the adoring light of living

Salt is the flavoring, the hint of
Hope that rises inside one
Who knows that love is there
Alive on the inside of the soul
Where the Holy Spirit lives
And guides us toward much more

Salt is the sense of truth
That beckons to our minds
Heavenly suggestions of joy
Inspiring the spirit to delight
In the wisdom of sending out
Laughter, smiles and gentleness

Salt is the aroma of tears and sunshine
The grasp of feeling inside one
Who knows that faith is alive
Providing a sense of assurance
Insight into the scriptural blessings
That thrive with pure inspiration

Salt is the touch of color pouring down
From the edge of the rainbow
From beginning to end, shades
Of pastel gentleness relieving souls
Of the sorrow, worry and fear
Sending love through that stunning arc

Salt is the essence of God’s breath
Sighing with the whisper of a caress
Gentle appreciation sent down to us
Who know that He lives and sends us
Quiet joy, hope, faith, serenity and more
To fill us up with unconditional love

Matthew 5:13 King James Version
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Charles Bukowski Ate My Girlfriend

Charles Bukowski ate my girlfriend
He started with her head
Fiddled with her like finger food
Putty in his hands

Charles Bukowski took my girlfriend
Slapped her hard upside the face
Now she likes it dirty
So this poets been replaced

I'd like to say so long Charlie
As far as I'm concerned
You can hit the literary highway
Never to return

Charles Bukowski took my girlfriend
And showed her a good time
As I'm watching from the shallow end
Of my kiddie pool of simple rhyme

Charles Bukowski ate my girlfriend
Chewed her up then spit her out
Now that good for nothing Charlie
Is all she talks about

Now That's a Shame

~~~
Tis a gladness found in sadness
mostly pleasure
wince of pain
From an odor round the barroom
none the boys could e'er explain
Like a billowed line of washin'
after gentle fallen rain
Tis the wail of spring befallin'
on a barfly
oh ... the shame
~
Lo
there's homework
I'm the tender
to a list of things that broke
Ere the boss be sharing surely
words no poet ever spoke
Lazy good for nothing boozer
paint the fence and fix the gate
You want a pint ... you must be kidding
Plow the forty ... 'fore it's late
~
Down the misty path of memories
thoughts of Kelsey's brew appears
In a vision almost godly
round a table rests my peers
And no memory tarries longer
forceful
clearer
sweeter
stronger
than ol' Kelsey pouring liquor at the bar
I sheds a tear
~
Summer sadness tans bare shoulders
to replace the winter's shun
And the kids each day
they greet me ... Morning Dad
YOUR IT ... then run
Lord
I never knew that Heaven
'twas the place beyond my wall
Till I heard my children laugh
while toasting mallows in the fall
~
Though breath of Heaven
washed the aftertaste
of Kelsey's from my life
And forever I'll be holding ... dear
new memories
with my wife
I am angered at the sign
that hangs atop ol' Kelsey's door
. . . NO BARFLIES . . .
. . . CASH RESPECTED . . .
~
Sure
His wife now runs the bar
Premium Member Magic Aussie Carrots
A farmer met a wizard who was wearing odd regalia
The wizard gave him seed of magic carrots from Australia
You sow them just like normal but they all grow upside down
The leaves will grow like roots, the carrots stick out of the ground
The farmer dug and rotavated, levelled off the soil
He was super motivated, those seeds mustn’t spoil
He worked so hard, that shovel he was pushing and a shoving
When he was done his back was bad and now he’s good for nothing
Those magic carrots, upside down, all turned out to be beauties
But poor old farmer’s stuck indoors on lightweight household duties
He’s standing in the kitchen where he’s washing pans and pots
His wife is in the carrot field and smiling as she squats
FOR JAN, MY SUPPORTIVE FRIEND :)
I have one silly friend on Manhattan
Or is it Mad Hatter or Isle of Man?
I keep forgetting
But she won't letting
Or is it let me, in any case, I am her man.
This was a good-for-nothing limerick
But I have an excuse: I am sick!
If I Could Also
This is a prayer to My Lord, Swami (Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba) which I wrote when I was doing my Masters :) :* LOVE YOU SAI MA...
If I could also
I wish if I could also sing like that well,
When I hear someone sing your glory.
I wish if I could also draw that well,
When I see someone portray you.
I wish if I could also feel the same,
When I hear someone share the experiences related to you.
Good for nothing I am Swami,
Only what I have is a heart longing for you.
A'Int Life Funny
A'int life funny, the person that you thought was your soul -mate for life
caused you anger, pain, heartache and strife
A'int life funny,
Undoubtledly you were in love with him, but was he with you
You poured out your heart and soul, bending over backwards, twisting and turning
like an acrobat
Just to hear him say what have you done for me lately
Like you owe this so and so, good-for-nothing kind of guy, working on the sly
While you are asking yourself why
Here we go again and again now what's the plan. trying to understand where
you now stand, or stood, wishing you understood, how you could end up in
the same place, trying to erase, but you can't face listening to the same old song
Want to be wrong, trying to keep on and on
Trying to seek peace, cannot release the breath that you are holding in
so that the pain inside of you does not come out exploding like a torpedo
on the go
Trying to find a hiding place inside yourself
Sometimes when we think life has done us wrong, it's actually a blessing in
disguise, hiding behind the mask is happiness for you, and you try to pull
through, because you feel like this is the un-doing of you
You don't even know from this point on where to go
Up and down feelings wrapped around cutting off your air supply while
you die inside
Then again think to yourself it's not the money
Just for you to realize, now a'int life funny
Good For Nothing
Being proud of yourself isn’t enough,
When your loved ones don’t think so.
Thinking you’re tough and strong,
Yet you can’t handle the pain you know.
Every time life starts getting rough,
You bury yourself deep and low.
I try to do things right each time,
But feel handcuffed by winds that blow.
It’s freezing out here, and I’ve nowhere to go,
The cold wind steals the warmth I hold.
And once it’s over, I’m back again—
Good for nothing, with nothing to show.
I Wish I Was Dead
I am fed up with life,
The tears I've shed,
Wish I could kill myself with knife,
I wish I was dead.
Sorry mom and dad,
I failed to make you proud,
I wish I could scream a little loud,
The tears I've shed,
I wish I was dead.
Sorry for not fulfilling your expectation,
I'm just filled up with so much frustration,
The tears I've shed,
I wish I was dead.
I know am good for nothing,
But I loved the way of your loving,
"You're my perfect child you said",
But I'm sorry, I wish I was dead.
You did everything to make me smile,
But I just failed to make you proud in my every trial.
Days passed, I was dread
I wish I was dead.
Now I find myself useless,
Sorry for making your life a great mess,
It must be wrong the decision I've made,
But still I just wish I was dead.
Premium Member Two Become One,
Two become one
Blue and yellow combine to make the lovely colour green
It's neither blue nor yellow it's something distinctively in between
Can you say that green is not good because it's not blue?
Or, because it's not yellow it's really good for nothing too?
No, green is also beautiful it has it's rightful place too
being a wonderful blend between yellow and blue
When two become one, something new and distinct is created
One should not feel weak and useless or completely dominated
Two equal portions mixed together creates something new
as man and women blend together a marriage is created too
Like two colours blending together produces a new colour too
Two marriage mates when joined together become one not two
It's not like they lose themselves and their own unique personality
Each one contributes something special forming an original identity
Just like colours stay the same but change in the act of blending
Souls unite but something changes when it's qualities they're lending
One shares with the other their feelings and experiences in life too
Their lives they synchronize together with harmony they are infused
There is a mutual giving and receiving with a symbiotic benefit too
A sympathetic relationship, a symmetrical orchestration of just two
To some , the idea of two becoming one, is miraculous it may seem
By not relinquishing their autonomy they will not realize their dreams
Compromise and loving consideration for the other person is the key
To open the door to a new oneness of spirit, that of marital harmony
