The woods were silent except for the shifting
soft sounds of his hooves as they fell upon
the forest floor. There he stood amid the mist in
his white majestic coat calling to me to come
to him and ride upon his back, vanish with him,
(as the sun lay dying into quiet shades of twilight)
into an unknown sacred secret realm where no
one's footsteps could follow.

I stroked his soft warm velvet nose and felt the
subtle flair of his nostrils breath on my hand.
When I climbed upon his back we rode
as one as our love and trust in each other
had slowly grown into a synergy unsurpassed.
Moonlight filtered through the verdant trees
as darkness enveloped the starry sky.
Suddenly we found ourselves in a glade
where we were surrounded by the soft glow
of tiny faeries as numerous as fireflies.

We were warmly welcomed into their sacred
sanctuary and I felt enchanted by their sylvan
beauty as two tiny faeries braided long strands
of my golden hair, intertwining fragrant flowers.
I was asked if I would help to keep the forest
safe from clear cutting, and I promised I would.
I awoke to the faint sound of hoofbeats as dawn
was rising and there were pretty flowers in my hair.

The Enchanted Dream

How sweet the soothing songs of May
Reposed upon the fragrant breeze
The comely songs were Seagulls play
On the lulling trembling seas.

That dissolved the traces of your feet
That lingered in the distant sands
While the sultry beams unite to meet
The carnal rosebuds of your hands.

That blush in light the morning spray
Descending warmly in your eyes
Who knew the light of love this day
Would lift me up to a new sunrise.

Yet in the sunless fleeting hour
I would hold you in my smile
Or steal a kiss from you my flower
In this languid scented isle.

That quivers in the blue distance
When tender birds are fast asleep
When blazing stars of night entrance
The lonely fountains glistening deep.

I would hear your whispers by the sea
On the soothing waves of night
Its mellowed voice would comfort me
When the winds would take to flight.

To the starry distance and empty spaces
That holds the night sky of your hair
On hallowed streets and sleepless faces
It blows the Eastern dews most fair.

And on the enchanted blossom rare
That I'd finally pluck in spring
To bow and give to you my dear
With this golden diamond ring.

Premium Member Enchanted Earth - Constanza

I have known ethereal bliss.
A crystal sea, serenity....
Imparts visions to memory.

Endowed by heaven's cosmic kiss,
A peaceful healing I can share
With those who need my love and care.

By star light from this great abyss
Luna welcomes her night time sky.
When full or new, emotions fly.

How could I not be changed by this?
She wields her power over me,
Yet I am charmed, how can this be?

The glory of this earth I'll miss.
Though when I leave this realm one day
Sparks from my life are sure to stay.

I have known ethereal bliss.
Endowed by heaven's cosmic kiss,
By star light from this great abyss
How could I not be changed by this?
The glory of this earth I'll miss.

Premium Member Enchanted Morning

Whispers of light dance on the wall
To the rhythm of the rising sun
Shades of peach streak through the sky
As the hues of the morning sky are spun

Leaves sway to the whispering wind
Its familiar caress they know so well
A spider web glistens with dew
As it waits for prey to give it its cue

A butterfly enchants in the morning light
As it does a ballet in flight
 Flowers awaken and give consent
Inviting the butterfly with fragrant scent

Premium Member Enchanted Vision of Love So Pure

Enchanting deep forest sparkling magical dew
Vision of beauty takes to clouds in silver lining
Star lighting vision dancing with the shadows
Rainbow skies set to light mist of cool rain
And the warmest thoughts of you my Dear Love!

You are so very beautiful and precious My Darling
Behind the mirror your soul sings soothingly so
Stirring hotly emotional feelings and passions afire
How the passion burns the flower of flowers so rare
Regal crowning desires petals touching so softly My Dear!

Silken lips purse blushing one rose holding bright
Sunshine beams inside warm fingers of light touch
Stroking hair gently halo radiating chords deeply dance
Looking into jewels of a treasure gem shines so exquisitely
Gifted I am to have met your beautiful soul and You Too!

Over and over my heart skips beats when we caress and kiss
Beams jumping over the moon silver whispers wonderful so
Silently making love to you in every single thought of mine
Hot sexy kissing and so sensual in every inch nibbling softly
Within the deepest love inside loving you forever My Love!

Let me pass under the tunnel of trees
While shrouded in mist in tropical breeze.
Let island mysteries slowly unfold
As customs remain from centuries old.

Let me rise up to the Pali so rare
As I feel it's strong winds lash my long hair.
Honor ancestral spirits that surround
This beautiful 'aina and sacred ground.

A place where spirits of dead still abide,
Where a battle took place and suicide.
A warning to those who visit at night,
You'll meet with oddities causing great fright.

Viewing stunning Kaneohe below
Where with fierce tenacity trade winds blow,
My view from Pali I'll never forget...
That Time, too fleeting, I'll ever regret.

Nuuanu Pali:
“This is the last major battle that Kamehameha fought. This united all of the islands other than Kaua‘i, and, from this point on, for the next 20-some odd years, there was peace, other than the preparation for the battle of Kaua‘i.” Kaua‘i ceded its sovereignty peacefully to Kamehameha in 1806, without that battle ever occurring.

Premium Member Enchanted Meadows

I love walking in dawn's emerging light,
when meadows are bathed in golden shimmers;
and the birds chirp a song of sweet delight,
with reflected hues of dancing glimmers.
The colored wildflowers wet with dew sway;
there is a promise of a perfect day !

I find an old tree with fluttering leaves,
and lay down beneath it's protecting limbs;
where delicate ivy here and there weaves,
and I think of fanciful dreamy whims.
Oh, time to explore another meadow;
for another whimsical lovely show !

Oh, must I leave this enchanted green place;
where every sweet scene is an embrace !

       Delivers hope to the forgotten
Inspires the youth of generations on end

        Imagination crystalline
     Images of pristine delight
        brew enchantment throughout the night

    A poem’s a treasure, my dear friend
To turn to over and over again
A refuge from the gathering storm

Enchanted Realm

Deep into my soul you reach
to gently stroke my desire
All my defenses you breach
my very essence you inspire

You stimulate my hungry mind
teasing my stagnant thoughts
Embracing my process to align
left speechless, mind in knots

Shaking up my calmness now
while refreshing me as a whole
Bend me down to make me bow
I'll be submissive, you in control

Hypnotizing my subconscious
leaving me dazed, you overwhelm
Unrestrained no more cautious
Lead me to the enchanted realm

Oh Luna, with enchantment in night sky…
You gaze down from above with silver eye.
I fondly view your phases night by night
Enjoying most when you are filled with light.

To find your bright reflection on the sea
Enthralls emotions deep inside of me.
Under your spell, you share in love’s sweet bliss,
I wonder who you will compel to kiss.

Let me roam the gardens in your soft light.
Romance me now as clouds obscure your sight.
Yes, every time your sphere is full or new
You cause desire or cause one to be blue.

So Luna do your best, my lover waits…
We’ll leave our love to you, and not the Fates.

My Childhood Home

My lovely childhood home, I miss it so...
built Eighteen Eighty-Six, so long ago.

Three floors, all rooms with mantled fireplaces;
carved woodwork, archways, spindled winding stair;
cathedral ceilings, sparkling chandelier
in dining room enjoyed on holidays.
Third floor not used but built with parkay floors
and doors that opened to small balconies.
Off the front door, a porch wrapped 'round two sides...
was like a fairy tale when I was young.

Such lovely grounds; garage with two horse stalls
and covered sleigh with velvet seats of red.
White gravel paths with gardens either side;
the rolling lawn, majestic tall pine trees
and rippling stony brook below the hill.
My childhood home fulfilled my childhood dreams–
so happy there with my dear family.
Until I married, it was home to me.

And since home now is not too far from it–
I often pass the site of my old house.
On left, before I pass under the bridge
that sprawls across the Hudson River now–
the empty view brings sadness to my heart.
To build that bridge they tore my old home down–
the only house to make this sacrifice–
The vision of my childhood home is gone.

As I ride by I feel them wave to me...
the ghosts of past, and my dear family.

Enchanted By the Blue Butterfly

Beneath cerulean skies where dreams take flight,
A wondrous blue butterfly, enchanting sight.
Radiant in her grace, she charms the view,
A living gem amid a garden bathed in hues.

In a delicate dance, she flutters to and fro,
Whispering secrets only butterflies know.
In the language of butterflies, I'm unsure,
Does she sense the love that makes my heart endure?

With vibrant colors, she paints the sky,
Her smile gives strength to reach new heights to try.
Yet, uncertainty cloaks this fragile chance,
Will love's wings lead us in a destined dance?

Oh, you are my blue butterfly, enchanting and free,
I hope someday your heart will soar with me.
In this garden of feelings, I patiently wait,
For the embrace of the blue butterfly, love so great.

I promised one day I will find her again,
In the meadows of destiny, our love will remain.
Though time may pass and distance grow wide,
In my heart, for my blue butterfly, I'll bide.
