Enchanted Morning

Whispers of light dance on the wall
To the rhythm of the rising sun
Shades of peach streak through the sky
As the hues of the morning sky are spun

Leaves sway to the whispering wind
Its familiar caress they know so well
A spider web glistens with dew
As it waits for prey to give it its cue

A butterfly enchants in the morning light
As it does a ballet in flight
 Flowers awaken and give consent
Inviting the butterfly with fragrant scent
