Magical moonbeams
Sparkling like silver
On an inky sea
I watch them dancing
Captivatingly

Bright mystic moon
Shining each night
Waxes and wanes
Controlling tides

Silver orb
Shines above
constantly

I love
A clear

Night

Premium Member Dreamscapes An Education In the Mind

Dream schemes play across the screen
And third eye examines them,
Ever so closely; tonight,
Another etheric flight;
Will show me new horizons
And the beings that dwell there;
The archetypes and images.

Scenes play out in colors,
Shadows weave their magic;
I am inundated.
Visiting spirits came,
Just to bid me adieu;
My guides know what I need.

Somewhere the light starts,
To glow; a pinpoint,
Growing as it moves
Toward each scene, shines;
Revealing wisdom.

A dream is an
Education;
Dream and wisdom
Will come to you.

Dreaming mind,
Subconscious,
Library.

Dream long
And deep;

Dream.

When dark clouds converge
                As cold winter plots
                To dampen the soul
                 In the face of fear
                   And adversity...

                 When crisis looms
                     And dejection
                  Flirts with despair
                     Not all is lost...

                       A swallow
                     Comes along
                       Heralding

                       The joys
                       Of spring

                         Hope!

A black cloud dangles
Effortlessly forms
A haunting image
Showers travel east
Daisy hides her face.

A Robin sings
A melody
The sun appears
Once more she smiles.

Grass uncoils
Raindrops dry
Web retracts.

Sunset
Moon beam.

The intricate web
Of life has been spun;
It’s twists and turns hold,
Keys to our very
Existence on Earth.

How we are formed,
Born, survive and
Die and purpose,
In life’s grand scheme.

Together,
We create;

People buy pictures
They have a notion
That they are owners
But actually
The pictures own them.
They will outlive
Or outlast them
They are only
Custodians.
They purchase
Pyramid,
Art will live.
And they...
Pharaohs:
Dead.

Hope

Life has challenges…
Confront them each day
Some have good endings
Some can cause despair
They are always there

Our perception
Is the answer
Of how we feel
About outcomes

Do we see
Half-empty
Or half-full?

Recollections waft
across my mind like
wisps of soft white spores -
the vague remnants of
my memory’s threads.

Spring’s sun-gold heads
I now can‘t hold!
But glimpsing them,
I can recall. . ..

a young girl
blowing fluff
and wishing

time would
quickly

pass.

I am a blank page,
   I need some color,
  On this dull paper,
   To awaken me,
  So folk can read me,

  Use a bright red,
   Use yellow too,
    Use a dark blue,
     A hint of green,

     Look at me,
      What am I?
       Do you see,

       My heart
        And deep

         Love?

Parting Peace

As the last sun sets
and life ebbs away,
ugly words and deeds
flash across his mind
and he feels ashamed.

Bitter tears flow
into the mire
of squandered time
he can't redeem.

His eyes dim
as he begs
forgiveness.

God hears -
At last

Peace.

Impassioned Descent

Cunning seducer
Your presence beguiles
I taste your fever
My body complies
Good intentions die

Dare not touch me
For I shall fall
Where angels fly
And hell is nigh

Oh to taste
Faulted grace
Tempt me not

Too late
My fate

Flawed

We gape at the sky
this Fourth of July,
as rockets ignite
to deal us delight,
while strangers unite.

I’m such a dope,
it gives me hope
that Nations torn
can be reborn.

Let God’s gifts
heal our rifts,
our esprit.

Let’s pray
we stay

free.

As a spent sun sets,
ebony shadows
merge with silhouettes;
penciled in the rough
by a charcoal dusk.

A brazen breeze
makes me shudder;
I feel it's cool
breath on my face.

And as wolves
and fireflies,
welcome Night,

the moon
glints like

gold.

extraordinary
elusive fragrance,
a titillating

His tactile touch
tender and warm

snowdrops sprout.
