Best Bite Poems
I write-
mellifluous sweet murmuring poems-
gossamer whispering words
a labyrinth twisting and turning
serendipity writes
and woebegone sadramblingswithtears
and all I want to do is share
my feelings
sweet murmuring poems-gossamer
but here come the don'tdoitgang
a labyrinth twisting and turning
with their opinions stabbing
their rigmarole
wanting to make my safe harbour a hoosegow
oh the words and wordsdribbling they let fly
to our souls and
my mellifluous
sweet
murmuring
poems whispering
the discontentannoyingwordgang
a labyrinth
twisting
and turning
come with their constanttellingus what to do
smellfungas comments
and I
am guilty of everything it all
I enter my poems
written from the depths of my soul
in whatyoucallmeaningless contests
andIwinsometimes
so bite me
I leave comments lovelyandawesome
with words like beautiful and wonderful
so back off leavemealone bite me
I like to post
pictures with poems
everheardoffreeimages
I dwell behind a mighty high wall where
I write-
mellifluous sweet murmuring poems-
gossamer whispering words
a labyrinth twisting and turning
serendipity writes
and woebegone sadramblingswithtears
and all I want to do is share
my feelings

First Place
I swam in a river of uncertainties,
as Mr moon gave me his back.
Somber dreams caress my skin,
the light within my eyes is dark.
On my last trip to the milky way,
I was sad, because it had melted.

There across the movie screen,
treats were dancing and
telling us to find them at
the concession stand.
Yes, I knew I should not go.
I‘d just eaten lunch.
At the snack bar, they beguiled,
“Have a little munch!”
M & M’s and Hershey bars -
chocolaty delight -
with such smooth deep voices asked
me to take a bite!
Hot dogs nearly barked out, “Don’t
let us go to waste!”
Meanwhile candies sweetly sang,
“Have a little taste.”
Then an Ice cream bar chimed in,
“Take a bite of me!
I can take a licking too
and most happily.”
Pepperoni pizza was
sure a little tease.
calling out with Nachos, “Hey,
We’ve got lots of cheese!”
At that dine-in theater
clamored other food.
Subway, Arby’s, many more
sounding rather rude.
They were all competing , but
Popcorn filled the air
with its heady butter scent.
What a circus there!
All were screaming out to me
(though I don’t know why),
“Bite me! Bite me!” Don’t foods know
bitten, they will die?
Well, I bought the popcorn as
my dear hubbie sighed,
“We already had our lunch.”
“Bite me,” I replied.

Will Thee walk with me tonight ?
Amongst the spirits of Twilight
Gothic verse we wilt recite
I wilt gage not to bite
Wilt thee with me slowly dance ?
As we descend into lover’s trance
With thy charm thee doth enchant
Speak thy wishes
For thee I’ll grant
Both frozen in the midst of time
Our soulless bodies wilt entwine
Flush lips of blood sip scarlet wine
On those lips I yearn to dine
Permit my domination, let reality depart
Allow me to enter thy beauteous blackened heart
I implore thee anon, mine beauty of dusk
Within is a hunger, replete with lust
Cometh let us now abscond
Dip our toes in reaper’s pond
Milk the moon so we may swim
Filling it’s juices to the brim
Bathe with me in lacteous splendour
Mine hands around thy waist so slender
Our bodies melt to form a bond
And as we fuse I doth respond
So bid me now to take thy hand
And lead thee to a world so grand
We will liveth still into this night
Eternally dancing beneath spellbinding moonlight
Let me be just dessert
With your plate so full
I can sweeten your day
While I fatten your soul
He sat there in his fav'rite chair, a blanket 'cross his lap
And covering his snow white hair was his old fishing cap.
I knew he could not talk to me since suffering the stroke,
But still I sensed he could relate to ev'ry word I spoke.
"I went and wet a line today ... down where you caught that cod.
The biggest one you'd landed yet and though it was my rod
I reckon he was yours all right ... but cod are far and few.
They don't bite like they used to dad. They don't bite like they used to."
"The algae's building up again and stuffing up the creeks,
Though at long last we had a fresh, the first in flam’in weeks.
Pulled twenty stinking euros in, along with one old dew,
But they had sores all over them, though still that's nothing new.
The cotton farmers cry, "Absurd! It can’t be from our spray."
Perhaps the fish have just got aids from turning flam'in gay.
Its getting pretty sad all right, but what can one bloke do.
They don't bite like they used to dad. They don't bite like they used to."
"McDonalds seems to be the go and good old KFC
And eating yellow-belly is a flam'in rarity.
Your grandson won't go fishing as he says it's just for nerds
And when I take the missus we just end up having words.
I really miss our fishing trips, your company was swell
And by the mist there in your eyes you miss them dad as well.
I heard you sold your tinny mate, your outboard motor too.
They don't bite like they used to dad. They don't bite like they used to."
They're introducing fingerlings and giving that a shot,
But duckweed takes the oxygen which kills the flam'in lot.
The droughts have had their toll as well and one thing that's for sure;
I can't see in the future dad a remedy or cure.
So mum's ducked down to Salty's mate and I would dare a punt
She'll come back with a feed of fish before you say Rex Hunt.
I guess we'll have to wash it down with some of your home brew.
They don't bite like they used to dad. They don't bite like they used to."
Bitter words spew out of your well-polished poison pen
Insult me, go on belittle me with your vile vitriolic venom
Think you are better than me – hell no way!
Every word that spills from your pathetic pen sucks
My one poem to your river of rancid rubbish
Each to their own, but I will NEVER change my style
Bite me, go on bite me - like a sweet juicy apple
I can bite back like a Rottweiler – taunt me enough and I will snap
Tart sour words full of malice I CAN pen perfectly
Except I keep my opinion and hostile words in my head
Me, I don’t pretend to be anything I am not
Every word you pen is pure malignant malice
A fiction write purely for contest.... or is it! You decide!

Want beauty, you'll find Tania --but mess with her friends and she might bite ya!
Bite
Money too much, children’s laughter;
Fall apart beneath the moonlight.
Make me cry tears of blood, ever after;
I think I want to die tonight.
Dog bite scar puts pain to skin;
Leave it out and let me in.
Kiss my soul with teeth of barbwire.
Let me remember you within the fire.
Whisper words of wisdom and lets all jump across to hear them;
Another dead singer living on the edge of oblivion.
Wasting away in a puddle of blood;
Never been in love, because loves no good.
Whispers scream through echoes of violence,
In the cold dark silence I see them cry.
Smother me with love, because love is blinding.
Drift away into the clouds up above in the sky.
Want it too much to earn it, or find it;
Give it to me easy, but it’s never enough.
Flew into the sun in search of new sights;
Laying here blinded by God and his version of love.
Money too much to bring pleasure to me,
Set me free with poetry in poverty.
Howl at the moon to release the endorphin’s,
Scream at her now she will listen to you.
Give me anything, but let it be broken,
I have nothing left to give to you.
Fire raging along the border,
Corner me and I will bite you back.
You want me to be something smarter.
I can’t do that. Creativity I lack.

Love take me
in one breath away
fruit of dreams
your are
the sweet aroma
in one's mind eclipsed
Angel feathers
striking records time
Harp plucks strings
gently angelic dusting
out from the cobwebs
magic flowers colour with light
Blossoming inside
beautiful warm petals
Touching summer fragrance
brushing heartbeats race
into chambers cells
a carnation amongst flowers
You sit stately
royal crowned
Queen
you are a rose
amongst the thorns
in the sunlight you beam
Warmly the butterfies dance freely
melting golden delicious bites
buttering the sandwich
you take the biscuit
as the morning dew sits upon you
awakening daydreams
kissed in your thorns
Grows the night when breaths lay
quietly
On obscure spaces fluid as the wind,
Where clouds of rest become a
hammock ,
Lulling frayed nerves with incense
As blend of matter and being cleaves-
For beyond dimensions...grows the
the night.
Come closer ears
Come closer hearts
I'll whisper as the lie departs
My lips
Will pout
My eyes will scan
The room surveyed as truthless
Scam
Devours with teeth
Pointed and sharper
Than gracious softness when truth
Doth scarper
The vampire bite
Without reflection
To veer your soul in wrong
Direction
Don't tell. It's just
Twixt you and me
No harm intended just..
Promise me
This won't be shared
I want the best
To pass this reputation
Test
Is all I want
In secret though
No credit please or
Angel glow
You understand?
Knowledge is power
For all will know within
The hour
So here's the thing
Fingers on lips
For God forbid my conscience
Slips
Or slides around
On muddy moral Holy ground
With gasping tales that will
Astound
So bring that shell-like
A little tighter..
So truth can be strangled -
The little blighter
We'll choke out justice
Grab honesty's throat
Thus fictional fabrication
Promote
And by the time the dawn arrives
You'll be absolved of all the lies
At least
In part
I must now leave you here
My dear
With your blackened heart's
Redemption fear
Before you blame me
For deception..
Perhaps look closely
For your own reflection
(Mwahahaa)
You shouldn’t ‘ve said that, bite your tongue
You said I look old, but you know I’m still young
If ever a wiz a wiz there is ??
I’ll bite my tongue and feel its fizz
You said I look fat, or something like that
and that I’m a tired, bitter ol bat
You know I’m a sweet young dainty thing
I’m the morning glow you find in Spring
You say that I’m just a crabby shrew
Bite your tongue and shame on you!
You know I display no angst or drama
I have the kindly aura of the Dhali Lama
You said I can’t write worth a dam
I never said I could but now and then
get in a slam!
You call me an egotist, a narcissistic freak
You must know my words have been tongue-n-cheek?
You shouldn’t ‘ve said that, bite your tongue
before you shoot hurtful words for fun
My tongue is bigger as you can see
I’ll pull its trigger like a gun then flee
I may be too tall and you an elf
It’s on the tip of my tongue…
All that’s said reflects yourself
In the end, the only thing that counts
If there’s any love in you, any ounce
We’ll bite our tongues and
forgive the fuss, which drains the light
from all of us
It’s written in quotes, psalms and clichés
Never your innate decency betray
Follow your own worthy words
search within and find someway
Fireflies reel as autumn arrives
Shimmering into kohl of night,
Tiny plumes charm ...in moonlit dives
To rollercoast until twilight--
To later fade, die from my sight!
Like an almighty cauldron,
Curling and twirling,
Stirred by the sea,
It came bashing,
As a torrential torrent
Pounding endlessly.
