Notes About The Poem

Bite Me, Bite Me

Bitter words spew out of your well-polished poison pen
Insult me, go on belittle me with your vile vitriolic venom
Think you are better than me – hell no way!
Every word that spills from your pathetic pen sucks

My one poem to your river of rancid rubbish
Each to their own, but I will NEVER change my style

Bite me, go on bite me - like a sweet juicy apple
I can bite back like a Rottweiler – taunt me enough and I will snap
Tart sour words full of malice I CAN pen perfectly
Except I keep my opinion and hostile words in my head

Me, I don’t pretend to be anything I am not
Every word you pen is pure malignant malice

A fiction write purely for contest.... or is it! You decide!

JAN.....this is the first time I got to see the picture along with this pissa rant. Where do you get those amazing visuals?? It has always amused me when people mistake gentleness for weakness. Thank you for your participation in the contest.

lol, Jan, the picture has me laughing. I don't consider this to be fiction, we all get a little feisty sometimes. I like the way you tell us like it is. That's what we like about you. You are you no matter what. SKAT

There are elements of truth in it Skat but I remember writing a poem about PD - she asked us to write a hate poem - I did - Darren was so shocked when he read it he got me to withdraw it - I wont be sending him this one! Hugs jan xx

I think this has shocked people that I can write like this Paul - I simply have to go with the flow of my pen - John wanted vitriol I think I delivered it and more lol - I must look for the slam contest I haven't seen it yet:-) Hugs jan xx

John wanted vitriol and I think people are shocked I can write this way - it surprises me what flows from my pen - but I have no control over my muse lol the last poem I wrote like this Darren got me to remove - it has since been reformatted and is on soup lol - but this is purely for the contest not my usual style! hmmmm, that was a great final note you put there!!! Jan, you got some GREAT SLAM in you. I have an idea for this contest but it won't be anything like this. Sadly, because I sure would enjoy going after a few meanies, but fear I don't have it in me!!!!

You know me Andrea - this is a bit of a departure from my usual style lol - I am stunned with the way it went and I guess it will shock people I can write like this - John wanted vitriol I think I delivered and the alliteration helps make the poem more powerful. The last poem I wrote like this which was also for a contest Darren got me to withdraw it - I think it shocked him my pen can spew like this lol:-) I better not send him this one! Hugs Jan xx

You are one angry cookie. I hope this was fictional. I had a poem published in the NY Times a few weeks ago and got different reactions form people who wrote in. Some were positive and some were anything but! Damn the critics - let's move our pens! Peace and love Matthew Anish
Allison Avatar
June 1, 2015 at 12:26 AM
I have to go with the flow of my pen Matthew - usually it is humour - this is a change in direction for me and I guess it will shock people that I can write like this BUT it is purely for the contest. Congrats on having your poem published - we will all get criticism it is just accepting that opinions differ:-) Hugs jan xx

Pure fiction ...or is it lol ...my style has been criticised in the past and I was at a low ebb and nearly gave up writing but I am strong now and nothing and no one here will ever get me down regarding my writing ability or inability lol:-) Hugs jan xx

I hope I do come across as humourous Duke - this style is a real departure for me - I have only written one other poem like this and my poetry partner Darren got me to withdraw it - the other poem too was written for a contest but never submitted in the end - maybe I should stope entering them lol:-) Hugs jan xx

Nooooo Emile I am a mere bird brain lol - I think people are shocked when I pen something like this - I did another poem last year that my poetry partner Darren got me to withdraw as it was so unlike me - I have since revamped that poem and posted it again - this is written purely for the contest - John wanted vitriol I think i provided it lol:-) Hugs janxx
