~TAKE MY MONEY ~

Crimson Joy, L'Oreal Lips, DOLCE & GABBANA eyewear
Mascara from beyond LONDON Bridges
Like the pretty face found in front of Vanity Fair
What can I say? Perfect -- goes with my daily addiction

A beautiful morning cup, STARBUCKS got my money
It's not more or less the cost or taste.
It's all about my dependency, with popular brand names
Shopping from place to place --- with a smile on my face
VICTORIA SECRET and the way she wears her bra.
$72 dollars it's time to double up them d's
Christmas Red and December Blue
Walmart can't pick up my bust the way she claims with trust.

Hot Topic's on my dark fashion list, Star Wars decor to explore
Obsessed with any accessory from the Walking Dead?
Bennie, blankets, epic shirts with gore, spending $200.00 more

Vulture is a man, with no hair, sat me down on his chair
"Try, this mam' a flat iron that works like MAGIC."
"Did you say magic?"
Didn't ask how much, once he commenced caressing my hair
Straight and silky like when I first bought the Evolution Wand
I tried to resist, however, I swear I heard the Iron call my name
This time, I promise to use it more than once
Between you and I - I don't even care to do my hair
Next thing you know, I own the Lioness curler iron too
With Expensive shampoo and conditioner.
What can I say, Buy 2 get the third one free
Finally, I felt - I got the best bargain possible
I won't even tell you how much I paid
You'd probably think, $189.00 is steep
How could I say no?
He threw in a heating glove, that's what I call Consumer Love.

Heading home, I spot Best Buy, needing a case for my iPhone 6 plus
Strolling near aisle 3, I hear Dr. Dre, started some new beats
Falling in love with the level of quality, $299.00 how can that be?
I put a pink pair in my basket, they have to be special and unique
After all, $299. Means they are popular :)
Bargains here bargains everywhere, check out time, I paid 550 dollars
I'm so proud of myself today, I saved and gained 101 points

Happy and dandy I feel complete,
I will end, my freestyling write
With uplifting words --- Aren't you lucky I'm not your WIFE???

Premium Member Looking For My Elton John

I know I'm no Bernie Taupin
so, DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART
I know my lyrics are simple
every poet needs a place to start

I may not be Bernie Taupin
I didn't write CROCODILE ROCK
but, I know that I too can write the words
I just need my Elton John

I may not be Bernie Taupin
he wrote GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD
my mind works in easier concepts
no "hunting the horny back toad".

I may not be Bernie Taupin
creator of BENNIE AND THE JETS
but I can write a love song
of a life lived with no regrets

I may not be Bernie Taupin
his hits are way more than a few
I may not have an answer to his TINY DANCER
but I've danced a mad tango or two

I may not be Bernie Taupin,
I didn't write YOUR SONG
It turned out to be, a song for everybody
and not just for THE ONE

I may not be Bernie Taupin,
who wrote CANDLE IN THE WIND,
he struck gold the second time for Diana
the first time was for Marilyn

I may not be Bernie Taupin
by now that's not really news,
but I too can write a sad, sad song
so, I GUESS THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT THE BLUES

I may not be Bernie Taupin
and the ROCKET MAN is out of touch
but my sad songs also have merit
because SAD SONGS SAY SO MUCH

I may not be Bernie Taupin,
but, I'M STILL STANDING here with NIKITA
Bernie can make a hit out of anything
even going with DANIEL, to eat pizza

I may not be Bernie Taupin
but I write footloose and fancy free
maybe it's not like PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM
but hey! DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME

Bernie and Elton would both say
that it's been no SACRIFICE
and, SOMEONE SAVED MY LIFE TONIGHT
were lyrics that just felt right

It's been an amazing partnership
almost 50 years and still going strong
Bernie Taupin writes awesome lyrics
but the music is all Elton John.

So, I may not be Bernie Taupin
but I can write lyrics to a song, but
a song needs music and a melody
guess, I'll keep waiting for my Elton John.

Bread of Kindness

Baker Bob brought breakfast biscuits
To big, bad Bennie Barker's bed.
Bob believes, sadly, that Ben behaves badly
Because Barbara Barker rarely bakes bread.

Irish Poetry

Big Bennie Davis and Joe Nally are walking down to the pub
Joe's about five four and wiry.
A car pulls to the curb . The driver calls out
Hey Shorty. How do we get to Ellis street?
Nally" How did you know my name was Shorty?
Driver "I guessed"
Nally " Well guess where Ellis street is"
They went into the pub.

Saga of Henry Wiggins - Part I

That night old Henry rose up off his bench;
Evening's light growing dimmer as the sun set in the west,
Throwing stabs of light on the old village common -
Masked strangers on the pavement mocking the night.

Lighthearted camaraderie in a muted village square;
His neighbors laughed heartedly at his final parting jokes.
Very soon he'd be trekking his way home through the marsh,
To his little house in the swamp where he'd lived since his birth.

Loosely tangled moss dangled from the great Myrtle Oaks,
Obscuring the purview of the new crescent moon.
Shrouded mysteries and dreams from the murky water's edge;
Fleeting dominion of a realm lost in the venues of time.

Sawgrass Cove on the banks of the marsh;
A small, tiny village, where one Henry Wiggins made his last joke.
A typical southern town where people stood as one;
Yet, things taken too far, can ne'er be undone.

Henry heard too much in his eighty-five years;
Someone feared he'd gotten too close to home.
You see and hear things working in the Post Office Mailroom,
Sometimes way more than a beings meant to hear or to see.

Bennie Clingon cheated his government by not paying on his tax;
Sharon Christian's husband hadn't an inkling of how far she had strayed.
Gunter Kennedy drank way too much shine and,
Shawn the Weasel stole his cable T.V..

Kenny the Teacher embezzled school funds and
Eugene the Plumber, stole from people's homes.
Joe the Attorney padded his bills,
And Minton the Politician fraudulently lied.

Henry Wiggins knew everyone - maybe a little too well -
There was no one in town above his purview.
But no man strays far from his own circle of friends;
And no man's an island living alone.

It could have been anyone on that lone trail that night;
Henry was never seen, nor heard from again.
As the morning sun rose up in a warm, azure-blue sky;
No one would ever know, if poor old Henry lived, or maybe he died.

A Wee Poem

There was an old man named Bennie
desperate to spend a penny
Found the toilet was locked
weed in an empty jam pot
The relief is known by so many

Bennie

He does not answer when I speak,
the severed head in the picnic basket,
nor do the swarming flies on the muslin sack,
buzzing on the dried blood, concern him overmuch.
I still speak to him as ice chunks melt
about his rotting skull, and he rolls with a soft bump
on the passenger seat.
“Al, baby, we’re gonna find out what this is all about.
You and me, Al, we’re gonna find out.”
     Mexico shimmers and burns through
dust and dirt, gunfire, filth and murder, and we drive
the backroads in the hammered paint scarred red car,
backfiring clouds of exhaust, pollutant patches of hell.
     Gunshots echo through my mind,
bodies pirouette in slow motion, tissue quake ensues,
     jetting blood through ripped cloth:
“Why? Because it feels so damn good, that’s why.”
I never had much to speak of, dreams, a girl and a piano,
now my girl is dead and all I have left
is a car, a gun and a severed head in a picnic basket.
And in place of dreams, a heart of darkness and
     this impregnable death wish…

Premium Member Bennie and the Jets- Picture This

Tonight you feel me with such passion
As we share sweet kisses while the sun sets
You constantly show me so much compassion
I can imagine Elton singing “ Bennie and the Jets

As we share sweet kisses while the sun sets
Everything in the world seems so far away
I can imagine Elton singing” Bennie and the Jets
That is why I give you my heart each day

Everything in the world seems so far away
Because of you I whole heartedly believe in true love
That is why I give you my heart each and day
We fit perfect together like hand and glove

Because of you I whole heartedly believe in true love
You constantly show me so much compassion
We fit perfect together like hand and glove
Tonight you feel me with such passion

This Is How

                This is How
(the Dastardly Deed Went Down)

Brown shirts, black boots
Shaved conscience, paramilitary spooks

Marching turncoat lockstep to the Bennie Arn band,
following the Herr Leader’s double-agent command

Bearing arms for the Oval Overthrow Cause,
strangling free speech with Second Amendment clause

Rabble rousers on the mamba move at the rallying point;
a Cottonmouth King, they’re ready to seditiously anoint

This is how
dumbfounded Democracy got
buried in the ground

This is how
closed eyes saw the fascist shot
Deafen by the sound

This is how
the Dastardly Deed went down

Robo-calls for a ban on the mail-in vote,
defacto declare prez election was a hoax

Populist rebels said power got ballot stolen by the dark skins,
neo-Prussian heads blitzkrieg slid down duchy Alps Austrian

Make common the use of violent protest,
let the gunpowder lungs spark a lip resist

Alabaster grassroots cast asunder long-revered Liberties;
Con-federate voices, the militia masses do Führer appease

This is how
a confounded Democracy besieged got
buried under the ground

This is how
waxed ears heard the candle snuff shot
Deafen by the dark sound

This is treacherously how
the Dastardly Deed went down

Bennie Arn

He’s the best friend of democracy’s worst enemy ...
spinning white lies, treasonous yarn
Red coat ruby lipstick speak;
seditious bellow larceny,
crafty cerulean sound bytes of ruble treachery

Bennie Arn,
firebrand fox with the silver coin tongue
Got those oval eyes fixating
on the golden eggs in the eagle nest treasury,
Those baby blues
are crimson code flashing a czar fee:
Robbing Hood disdain is stained red Lenin Commie

Bennie Arn
keep plenty Ruskie company,
pilfering pals
hiding in the cyber weeds

Ballot box security
has a serious ivory inside bleed
Bennie Arn is selling classified secrets
on a pay-to-never know need
Giving those rotten cluck citizens
digital kernels of
decayed honesty chickenfeed

He’s the best friend of Lady Liberty’s worst enemy ...
weaving red meat lies, traitorous yarn
Sorry to say,
the Trojan Horse hay is in the barn

White noise seduced by wavy Iscariot charm —
Freedom woes got Union blue sold
when iron-copper chains
of thought tyranny prickly arose

Raise the white flag,
blow the indigo tone scare alarm
Pay scarlet turncoat tribute to Bennie Arn

My Lost Pen

"A collaborative Poem"

Poem Entitled: "MY LOST PEN"
Written By: Amos & Bennie S Alan

A.M Ngumbu, Jr.

Is my favorite writing tool stays at home?
For l have searched every corners of my life,
But it can't be found.
If found, please return for my future
Maybe in loneliness.
It has the key to my future.

Bennie S. Alan

My lost pen - my life,
It blew away my strife,
And loved me like a wife.
My lost pen, sharp piercing knife,
At the pharynx of my strife,
Breathing words of life,
Into every lonely soul.

A.M Ngumbu Jr.

But how can this be again when my pen has Betrayed me?
Before 3 days, l lost you somewhere.
I searched you everywhere.
I blame my buddy Meme; As the reason of your losing

Bennie S Alan

When my love left me in the dark,
My lost pen was a light.
When the moon was unbeautiful,
My lost pen told me,
It will be alright.
When I was broken in tears,
My lost pen fly me high like a kite.
Like the prodigal son,
It was lost but now it is back.

A.M Ngumbu Jr

It was the pen that taught me the letters of the Alphabet.
For my foundation was built not to be hidden.
What I'm going to tell the future?
Losing my pen is like losing my future.
It's the compass to my future.

Bennie S. Alan

My lost pen, an arrow of love,
Peircing every heart,
Whether near or far.
My lost pen, a holy dove,
Restoring peace from above.
My lost pen never failed me,
When I was lost in love.
Tears flow like a creek or river.
Emotions put my soul in danger.
My lost pen was there beside me,
Loving me madly.

Bloobery Hills

left you flat like a domino
Passe clings to crazy ways
Ramon is blitzed trying to bop
You two
What are you looking for
Eagley takes it easily
Stand just buy me
That's Bennie we call him the king
Davies bowing out he's going through some changes
Len and Mac Snooped out with the Doc
smoking imagination Chronically outback
well live and let
Back to the party
That's Abbey shes dancing like a queen
wants to live forever
That's Chuck we call him D That Tasty Tea
and he is G a professor riffing about the power fight
You two is he with you or
That's Will he picks up up about midnight
El tongue is pierced its messing up your song
This foxy lady will be anywhere the hens drink
Hes Garf and Si they are always silent
Say hello to mr blue Thats Skye
Those two who turned
the bar to an oasis
Definately pissed Maybe don't know
The guy by the Radio
thats head
hes a bit of a creep
Kurt was coming but there was something on his way
There Art Rick
He's a monkey
Eh Do i wanna know what
Can't here you
for the tunes
i never forgot
