The Benefit of Dreams
The benefit of dreams are many
They literally allow us to meet
The woman, or man, of our dreams,
Meet and even live a lifetime with.
Same goes for dream house, car, and job
Children and pets.
They allow us to experience the unimaginable
And unattainable,
And even sometimes force us to taste
True terror trapped in our own safe space.
But throughout it all we are only dreaming,
And knowing this, being reminded
Again and again
Carries over into waking life
Where sometimes the light of awareness
Can break through
And we know, without a doubt
We are still only dreaming…

Does it consume my time? Sure.
My money? Of course.
My health? Probably.
My ability to think? Naturally.
Is there great risk in it? If you're not careful ...
but of course you'll be careful
even if it makes you less so by nature ...
So why?
Why flirt with disaster? What's to be gained?
Escape.
Relatively inexpensive; perfectly legal; sometimes quite celebrated.
Christ said not to worry, didn't He?
Well - here's how, you nervous, fearful fool!
And the sweet icing atop the cake -
you ease up on the reins.
You lose the mental strength
to rein in your appetites.
So you'll get your escape - and the sickly sweet thrill
of knowing that your most selfish, raw desires could gain control
and do what your right mind would be far too shamed to endorse
in the Light.

Oh yeah, promoters of war...
How long will this mass massacre endure!?
How many more do you want to make
homeless, starving and struggling to survive
You can't feed the poor or help the needy,
But you always buy weapons for destruction
Have anything, country, city, place etc. flourish amidst war??
Oh yeah suicide bombers
How far have you been programmed
To act without thinking or reasoning
How many more massacre
Do you wanna commit
I'm not saying I'm perfect
But we all know what is right from wrong
Does it amuse or benefit you whenever you kill?
Oh yeah weapons manufacturers
How long will you keep manufacturing
Weapons for selfish desires ?
When we can end war
By making this world a better place
Like Michael Jackson
There's a place in your heart, I know it's love.
There's no hurt or sorrow in love not lust
We're the ones to make this world a better place
END THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA!!!
the angst you feel is energy
in fact adrenaline
to fuel the fire needed
to face your fear
and profit from
the opportunity at hand

It is to man to invest where they sees they'll benefit
And that's why when we sow seeds we hope they'll grow
Cause there must be something of value at the end of it
If not then why the need for all this to make it grow
And that's why even before we cast a vote
We think hard on how we gonna benefit
We think of the weight of our vote
And if it will be enough to get us leaders who fit
Cause we just don't elect leaders for today
We vote in leaders for tomorrow
Cause our kids are the ones who gonna pay
For our mistakes in the present is where the future borrows
We think on how this leader will deliver
If whatever they stand to say
May have weight to push the lever
Cause as times are hard prices go high but not pay
We vote for change, for a voice that speaks for us
For we can't all get up there to represent ourselves
Thats why when we vote we vote for us
Cause voting and change we owe it to ourselves

When I smile,
I write poetry...
when i cry,
also...
In laughter or crying
poetry sublimates us
in light or shadow
Welfare is a type of business
That does without profit
But for some unfortunate people's benefit
Is that none of your business, sir
Oh, surely not
The sympathetic heart answers
I am seeing health specialists over a serious concern,
for a year I've had a sick note which says I can't work,
always paying less benefit than they say I should earn,
and it's now mandatory for me too do a job search
and they'll sanction my benefit, if I don't search I won't earn,
but I'm ill seeing specialists who see a reason to observe
for an entire year Vasculitis has been their word
my blood says I have it but the source is a search
until found they can't treat me and that's why I can't work
paying me less than they state I deserve
and then docking it all because I don't look for work
even though I've a sick note and specialist concern
because Eton doesn't teach what real people learn
Labour just take shots at Tory failure,
they could make a plan that shows me my savour,
and the Lib Dems are who what when where when what who no wa
COME UP WITH A PLAN THAT GOES FORWARD AND BE A PLAYER,
Cameron cut benefits like Boris but before
so you should have a plan as it happens once more
The TORIES want me dead, they don't want me poor,
cutting corners without a clue, as they did once before

Faith in you, faith in me, faith in things we cannot see
Faith is a girl with lovely hands, Faith is a girl who never falls only lands
God isn’t real, he is dead, but i still think about him as i lay in bed
But if god is real, when i die, i hope he will teach me how to fly
Hell is your mind, your mind is dull, only feeling satisfied when we are full
Ive tried to pray, pray and weep, but the only time i’m calm is when i’m asleep
Swears are just words, your words are knifes, maybe this is why everyone dies
If i’m lucky, i’ll die quick, my existence only being a scratch on a stick
So i see why people believe in god, though the idea of him is so odd
The world is so scary, a tough and deep pit of a cherry
The devil is real though, he is here, he is with us, close and near
He is human, alive and well, and he has moved out of hell
And if the idea of religion makes me say a bad rhyme
I hope God will just listen to me in enough time
Sandstone erode into dust harks history's fade
Effected by events, weathered
Crept century torture administers eventual taint
Withered time drives incessant
Battered slate roof removed promotes damage
Cold rain and blazing sun hurt
Cyprus seeds challenge infertile dust, establish
Passage through gathered dirt
Co dependent pieces redefine a weary structure
Fed full on counterpart stength
Capability maps character, freshened functions
Exchange worshipped sentiment
Protected rod trunk tree intersects better entity
Deep dug roots, a chasm shielding
Tumult inevitably threatens to reinstate tentative
Pledge prevails, reliance appealing
Dedicated to tasks, support and every day bolster
Ruin renewed by flaura's courage
Offers availed are automated, mutual responders
Hold each firm in order to flourish

We have "civilized" ourselves in a hurry, so we hurry and feel busy, VIPs:
Life is like great music, magnificent dance. It doesn't rush to the END -
If the end, the goal, was ALL, the fastest dance, the quickest song, would win
We’re not a perfect match but that's OK
Shall we be friends and share this cosy space?
We’ll hang around together, eat and play
Although I'm not of noble equine race
Shall we be friends and share this cosy space?
I’ll scratch your back if you will nuzzle mine,
Although I'm not of noble equine race
With give and take we’re sure to get on fine.
I’ll scratch your back if you will nuzzle mine,
We’ll hang around together, eat and play
With give and take we’re sure to get on fine
We’re not a perfect match but that's OK

Encouragement through word or deed
Can brighten up a gloomy day
Or motivate a flagging heart
To be determined and succeed.
The giver and receiver find
A closeness through their warm exchange
Which lifts the spirit's mood and brings
A shared, uplifted state of mind.
It may be just a simple smile,
A letter bringing cheery news,
Or visit to a lonely soul;
Uplifting others is worthwhile.
