The Christmas Tree

I hung my heart upon the Christmas tree
Placed my hope in a love that came so free
Baby Jesus curled his little finger around mine
Said, I have given you my own bread and wine

Santa came rolling down with his secret gifts
Said, I think your face needs a little lift
Reached deep down into his big red bag
Pulled out some face cream that hides the sag

Snow bells and jingle bells began to ring
Rudolf in high notes began to sing
You don’t need to be sad this Christmas eve
Your tears you can wipe on my good old sleeve

My stockings he stuffed with mouth -watering goodies
The elves beneath the tree peeped from their hoodies
A sugar coated cookie slipped and fell below
Right into the hands of a cheeky little fellow

The snowflakes began to fall so lightly
Upon the decorations that were colored so brightly
Gold feathered angels sang with assiduous rapture
That Christmas eve my wounded heart was captured

In a tattered street of no Clemency
A very big cock laid a egg
Whales of the sea got Drained into the harvestation of Gunslinger

Oh! Ye the Antecedent of a Soft Raw Land
Where hath had you looked unto.. ?
When the Heavenly Colored Bodied fly in Mirrors to Enamor our beloved Land.

Life Is Scattered

2nd Elergy For Auntie Betty Akinyi Oyugi.
Life is scattered.
By Juno Byron(Junior).

Life is a balloon
Inflated full
A'n given to a baboon
Wherefore? though white as wool

Life is a pot
Resting on her head
With water it got
Cool cold as the dead

Life is a charcoal
Collected in a heap higher
Statued to make a roll
Waiting for th' great fire

Life is a nestling
Inside a nest
Lonely chirping
Built over a river to rest

Life is a live band
Played once enthusiastically
Made of a good brand
If played 'ice- loses weight drastically

Life is a flower
That once blossom
Then dry at summer
In the fields at random

Life is ice cream
Scooped into a warm tongue
And melts dim dim dim as a dream
Whose alarm has rung

Life is scattered
Broken
'nd can not be gathered
Yours,mine,hers,ours,his shan't be remembered.

Assiduous Betty is gone!
Charitable Akinyi is gone!
Benignant Oyugi is gone!
Munificent Betto is no more!

Time is a good friend
We shall plant and harvest
And all shall we'll end
When we believe in Christ.

Premium MemberSable Poetic Leakings

assiduous
spiritual voices
whisper veracious words:
faith tested
is faith strengthen…
firmed like tested muscles…
flexing mind
expands and joyful spirits
dance as mental quills
ink blood of truths…
hemorrhaging
melodic metered sounds
flowing freely from
the sable cerebral womb:
delivering new hope
sucking leaking nipples
of undying faith…

I Am, the Winner

The cogitation about the word "Victor",
Arises vigor within my heart;
That keeps me vigorous towards my vision.
Virtuosity is my investment to reach beyond victory:
Because, I am, the winner!

The rumination about the word "vanquisher",
Awakens ardor within my heart;
That makes me active towards my aims.
Assiduous is my assurance to achieve awards:
Because, I am, the winner!

I Will, Pursue My Dreams

A hankering for a well-of life,
Reminds me to focus on my dreams.
And assiduous itself, is my caliber -
That relies its origin from dedication;
Because nothing rules my mind, but the words,
I will, pursue my dreams.

Being intense about a well-to-do lifestyle,
Enthuses me to ponder on my goals.
And industrious is what reveals my progress and productivity;
Which is brought by tireless all day long day!
Because nothing encourages me, but the words,
I will, pursue my dreams.

Being ardent about that moneyed life!
Engenders me to contemplate on my professions.
And hardworking itself, is my best friend;
That keeps me me unremitting and single-minded.
Because nothing lies deep in my heart, but the words,
I will, pursue my dreams.

Let Me Be Diligent

Let me be diligent worker,
Right before your eyes, O my Lord;
For it's only You, dear Father
Who will give me the great reward.

Let me be resourceful servant,
O God Almighty in heaven;
I'll devise ways so important
In climbing the hill and mountain.

Just let me be able to meet
Situations that come my way;
O Lord, success is very sweet,
If I do my best every day.

Let me possess earnest effort
In serving You, dear Almighty;
You give the strength that I exert
In religious activity.

Let me be so assiduous,
To gain glorious achievement;
Yes, let me be industrious,
My Lord, let me be diligent.

Sundae

My brain bawled
like a hound.
I was taken aback,
by the sound.

I took another bite,
as they swept past me;
like a 90's reel,
all my memories.

Years of forethought;
my assiduous labour made sense.
I finally felt that day,
the taste of sundae.

To write this piece will be strenuous.
It could become downright arduous.
For it is a task quite rigorous.
So, despite the fact it may be onerous;
To the point of being tortuous.
The poet remains truly zealous.
In actuality he is punctilious;
Combined with being tenacious.
He will remain fastidious,
As well as conscientious.
To the end he will be sedulous.
He writes because he’s pertinacious;
That by being extremely assiduous;
This poem will turn out glamorous.
Despite the attempt to be scrupulous,
It seems the content may be mucilaginous.
Hopefully to have read it, was not laborious.
Perchance did you find it hilarious?
To write any more would be superfluous.
You need not be so supercilious.

We traverse those extraordinary significances that transpired
well earned, spent in our fabled youth's labyrinth corridors
obliged naive hearts bolted in present infinity for so oft
succeeding the key of memories becall. It beckons
in subsequent years of a pensive soul tryst with
thyself. Loneliness fades grasped by natures
opening redolences proffering counsel to
evaporate my soul resplendent aspiration to utterance, awakening
greeted birds to flight and favor a dusky crown bejeweled by
distant stars flickering arousal as a moon in its assiduous
mood o'er guiding men to sort out words of worn-out
theme deftly tucked away neath backseats of row
vehicles parked on an acclivity crowded lane.

Steered twilight's, vigilant years wane,
within the effervescent youth from
dawns intrepid golden sleigh.

Some colleagues found him a tad frivolous
  While others thought him over-fastidious
The Dean advised him to start off assiduous
  Though I.T. pooh-poohed it all as ridiculous...

So the new instructor shifted and twisted
  himself into the oddest-looking pretzel-like
pedagogical configurations, hoping to please everyone
  but -- you guessed it -- he pleased no one, OF COURSE!
    not his colleagues, not the Dean, not I. T. …

Yet his students found him competent, considerate, kind
  and they certainly didn't seem at all to mind that
an 'ideal combination of qualities' he never did seem to quite find ---

    the rarest of balancing acts, about which certain
    colleagues, the Dean, and I.T. will forever whine

Tending Tapestry’s Tenter

Resilience reticent reverberations receding revelations roaming
Resolving residual revolutions resentment reset reposing rest

		Puzzling perceptions poet’s perspective Peace

Agency anticipation an arrays’ arrangement alive assorted aims
Antipode’s adjoining assiduous adaptations anchoured attached

		Wily words wildly withheld with watchman’s wake

Contingency contextual concussion colluding caressing carefully
Confused contusion collaborating consequential contra-points

		Meaningless meaning meandering my murky mind

		Hence hidden host hones hopeful honest harvest
