Run Aground

Arr, Matey! Me ship has run aground,
In this shallow world, I search for character, but none to be found.
Through me spyglass, a foggy, distant world, unclear,
This incessant devil bird squawking in me ear.
A chest full of silver, gold, and jewels galore,
But what I treasure most is a love forevermore.

This is what a woman's about when they dress just
To go out

What's the weather like sunshine or raining now I know
Let me explain.

Shall I wear jeans boootcut or crop the ones that go
With my little white top.

No my tight dress to show off my figure (ARR) my bum look
Massive I will wear something bigger.

Maybe my short dress I think I will look qute no I need to
Look smart I wiil put on my suit.

So now for shoes flat or with heel the clothes I put on
Show how I feel.

But I stop in mid thought there's no way of winning
I will put on the clothes I had on at the beginning.

Morning On Lake Rhapsody

Morning on Lake Rhapsody

Standing on her shore
Quiet beauty surrounds one
Gentle sounds still everywhere
Soothing eyes and ears

Soft golden light rising
Tall timber ridge aglow
Silken voice of loon
Telling tales of yesterday

Water's surface so calm
Nature's perfect mirror
Upside down yet lovely
Reflecting magnificence without ego

To be so lucky
Floating on her body
Ripples of gentle love
Tapping sweetly on canoe

A vision glimmering forever
Held eternally in mind
Precious high country jewel
Never losing her sparkle

Lady of the mountains
Friend to every creature
There when many leave
There when they return

Rivers....her outstretched arms
Waiting to embrace you
Babbling brooks....her fingers
Waiting to caress you

Haunting mist dances wistfully
From Rhapsody's cooling breast
Animals singing her praise
Liquid life given silently

Just Steps Away

JUST STEPS AWAY

Seconds turning to minutes
Minutes becoming those hours
Hours rise setting into days
Days spinning to weeks

Years greeting me with many birthdays
Still, one hundred only a flash
Realizing when I was born
Just steps away from forever

Sadder Than Anything

An umbrella moves
through the rain
and in between each drop
emptiness

Morning’s injured light
far from the sun
trips over rooftops
into the wind’s mouth
passing over my eyes

I hear footsteps
alone on the sidewalk
alone in the rain
only to stop and wait
for a dream or a green light

From the sidelines
a burly boom
of far-off thunder
Time passes even darker

Raindrops tangle in my hair
raindrops sadder than anything
Neruda has written

Struck By Lightning Thoughts

These jagged crashing glows,
Searing my memories,
Welded to turning pages in this brain.

White hot flashes,
Becoming cold and lonely,
Lie dormant in that past.

Yet every now and then,
A spark arises from a smoldering hope,
Though still just a glimmer of a once blinding light.

Love,
Gently thundering in my head,
Bolting now swiftly,
Almost as quickly as it came.

Finding myself hiding in an occasional cloudy dream,
Caught up briefly in burning thoughts of unreality,
Then woken so rudely by this morning's bright beginning,

Alone, again.

Entangled Mind and Soul

I am not normal no one is ..
   Far inside the feeling exists
Round and round I go over it
          Where is it ?
It ceiced to be .. no bell ring

Engraved set thoughts to be
implicated into eachother
  As they continue no matter
Links are made and i batter
Which arr the myths which are the truths ..
How bitter ... i may feel if I declare a myth from a glare

Acquire wits

Accelerated emotions ..
 Bewildered if not listened
 Obvious is already known
Feel so deep I hate to repeat ..
 Perception is quick
 Subconscious level is real ..
  l

Converse and express
  The emotions deflection..
    With enthusiastic rhythm of convention..
Expecting returned mutual appreciation..

No recess
  Just distress

 thoughts are making
me feel lovely but also unordered. .. uterly groundless and bounded ..

My heart entangles

My thoughts hurt me , and its like subconcious bullets.. running through my neutral paths...

At last ... its hard maybe its better if you love your simple life , i am not like that ..
If you are me ,then you're welcome to engage and feel the words I now set free ..

Ootcast Kirk

Aye and ’tis a bonnie glen

And for us the Laird’s enclave

Dinna fush the soldiers’ menace

‘Tis this moment that He gave.

And we gaither ‘neath the stars

And we tak the wine and bread

And we cleave with benediction

To each Word arr Saviour said.

This is Church

Mind not the dampness

And the laing hike to and fro’

For the Pastor of our choosin’

Meets us here, and helps us grow.

Though he lives just like an ootcast

With a price upon his head

He can still preach Heaven doon t’us

And we treasure all he said.

Sure ’tis hard times we endure

For the One King of our Kirk

Jesus, here, atop this hillside

And His glorious finished work.

And a lark flits kindly by us

And a sheep bleats out content

And we learn through sterling sufferin’

What the hunted Psalmist meant.

Hebrews 11: 38

Cattails

I enter the solstice
to hear snow falling
where winter leads the way

Along a childhood memory
snow labored painfully
sweeping the landscape
with heavy shoulders
of white surrender

It seemed a great distance
from Grandmother’s house
to the barn
where the icy sky
bellowed a deep freeze
over shivering fields
of forgotten cattails

What Does It Feel Like

What does it feel like to die?
When last breath gets expelled
When final bell sounds
When heart find peace
And minds cease

Do you hear the deafing shot?
Or just the firepin
Click
Do your ears ring
Or is there just calm

Do you know
That it is your last breath
Do you feel
the blood slowing down
Do you hear
The ever so quite thud of heart
Suddenly stop?

What does it sound like?
Oceans roaring
Wind howling
Rain falling
Or just
Nothing?

What does it taste like?
Steel
Blood
Or the sweetest
Taste you'll ever know

What does it feel like
This death
We know so little about
Is there truly a light
At the of the tunnel?
Arr there wings fluttering by?

Maybe it truly is happy
Maybe there is a warmth
A glow
A sudden smile
Of content

Or is it just over
Quite
Black
Cold

What does it feel like?
